Gel X with Regular Pedicure I was in town from VA visiting my sister, so we decided to get our nails done! Marie and Austin run the place as if you are part of their family. They have a pricing sheet which limits room for error and miscommunication. Getting my nails done was a whole experience. The cleanest place I've ever been and they use disposable foot scrubs which I've never seen before. The quality and attention to detail of the manicure and pedicure is unmatched in my opinion.
The staff are AMAZING I could not reccomend them enough, they make sure you are completely comfortable in every aspect. I have struggled with pcos since coming of age and I just know these wonderful ladies are going to help me manage what I have struggled with my whole life. GENERAL SUMMARY: great communication, great technique, great price ... I particularly loved that before starting, she explained what she was thought was best and why she thought that (and we were even on the same page!). Excited to see what she can do once I give her a bit more hair to work with!
DETAILS: I started off showing her older photos of my hair in different styles and also the length I want to get to plus some inspirational photos from internet searches. I had one thing in mind then literally the morning of the appt, I realized it was unlikely to be attainable this time around. I hadn't quite gotten into physically showing her which sections of my hair I thought needed to go and which needed to stay when she took the same sections of my hair and then took the words out my mouth! She also used the exact cutting techniques I wanted, and when I mentioned there was a technique I didn't like, she said she would never do that on my type of hair (curly, thin, and tons of it). She gave it to me straight and what I really appreciated was that she didn't cut certain parts of my hair at all. That probably seems weird to appreciate but people don't realize that you're not paying for the hair that is cut off; you are paying for the hair that is left on! Because you won't be syling the hair on the floor, now will ya?!?!

So, the actual services I received in-person (back in November) were excellent; I was very happy with my locs, as well as the beyond fair price point. Mocha is a credit to her profession, she 100% knows what she’s doing.
Unfortunately, a few months later, upon booking another interlocking appointment, I woke up sick the morning of the appt. and had to cancel (as I didn’t know if it was covid or not & didn’t want to take the risk of infecting others). When I later tried to reschedule, I received conflicting error messages in the Booksy app. It would not allow me to book any service - not even a consultation - claiming Mocha Reign was booked solid for the next 3 months.
Logged out of my Booksy account and tried again: found countless open slots the very next month.
A bit of irritated Googling later, I’ve come to the conclusion that my client account was blocked from booking (ostensibly as retaliation for my early-morning cancellation). Not sure why this punitive measure was taken after a single “offense,” and annoyed that I had to jump through hoops to figure out what the issue was, instead of transparency. I understand as a business that cancellations are highly inconvenient, but it isn’t as though I was a serial offender. People get sick. Life happens.
I’d hoped to be a regular client and rely on this shop throughout my loc journey, but if my business is no longer wanted, I’ll take it elsewhere.

Took my littles for school cuts and I was pleasantly surprised. Tightworx’ did a fantastic job on the boys cuts and was able to adjust to them moving around in the barber chair (ants in their pants, lol). He was quick, very good, professional and pleasant! I stopped and tried ZoomTan and it was great! All the beds are Stand Up with a max time of 12 minutes. I started with 8 minutes and it felt really good after a stressful week.
They have a second location near FSU so I will probably get a membership.
I don't keep a dark tan but get a little color and lots of vitamin D.

i went to Beca for a color correction after having a pretty bad dye job done on me by a different salon. It was quite a challenge to fix and Beca did an amazing job. I have had facials all over the world. Adair is more knowledgable than some PSs and physicians I have visited. I had some scars on my left cheek that looked like acne scars, but they weren't. They were result of a staph infection I had several years ago. I have done everything from laser treatments, to various things in between. Adair gave me 3 part Seaweed treatment and they are clearly less visible. Her facials are amazing!
I had a lovely first visit after a few people highly recommended Citrine. It's so inviting from the outside to the inside where there are several Body Shop products for you to choose from. I was offered water or tea by Erika as soon as I entered and offered snacks on the way out. Maria was my masseuse and you could tell she was an expert. I asked for medium pressure and she definitely delivered. I plan to return and maybe try a few of the other masseuses to figure out who I really like.

I have lots of pieces by Shane. So many I've lost count. He is easy to communicate ideas with and uses provided references to the best of his ability. Making appointments has always been simple and generally waits are a bit shorter than they can be at other shops. We have an established relationship and sometimes he's able to get me in within the week. His hours are flexible with enough notice. I can't say much about walk ins, but he's said that if he has the time, he's happy to take them.
Shane is always willing to make adjustments in design, size, and placement because he understands that the important thing is that you're happy with your tattoos. He thoroughly explains his recommendations and has great knowledge of how art will be affected by your anatomy. The shop is clean and private as there is only one artist at Prime. There's a lot to look at in the shop and a huge amount of flash posters. Shane can be chatty if you like to have a conversation or more chill if you don't. He does seem to prefer American Traditional and Japanese style tattoos best, but can work in a variety of styles. I love getting my tattoos here and will continue as long as Shane will have me!
This shop does not offer piercings, just tattoos. Shane does do free touch ups.

This company is unbelievably great! Late yesterday I discovered a leak in the 3/4” line that serves the house. It was only about a foot away from the meter box, so I dug down to assess the situation. What I found was an extremely rusty galvanized pipe situation that was clearly beyond my capabilities. I called Lance Maxwell plumbing, who I had previously used and they in turn had the on-call person call. He had one other job to tackle, but showed up around 6:30. He assessed the situation, and said that he was pretty sure that he could fix it. It’s a good thing that he (Mason) is a big strong, experienced guy, as the pipe joint were almost impossible to break loose. Somehow or another he managed to get the repair done, and we have water! I will always use this company, and will probably ask for Mason for future issues in our almost 90 year old house.
I had the occasion to meet Troy and Junior from TruVolt today. Their office responded to my request two days ago. The appointment was scheduled the same day, & they arrived this morning promptly between their 8 to 10 window, closer to eight. A 5 second evaluation had them heading to HD for a new bathroom fixture, that had been flickering threateningly. Not only did they match the other fixture, Troy kindly changed out that bulb as well, so the lighting would match! They were on their way just after 9:30; pretty awesome. It wasn’t a big job, but it’s given me the confidence to have TruVolt take care of all our electrical work in the future! Oh, and they were polite, professional, AND they wiped their shoes off! After Hurricane Debby knocked out our power, we could not get our breaker to come on for our well. I took a chance calling this company hoping they could come out same day and help us with our problem. They did not disappoint!

The booking process and service itself were great and affordable. However, there was an attempt to steal my credit card info from an employee of this business. I created a one-time use card to pay for their service and a couple of weeks later a transaction was attempted on that same card. The service tech did not have a card reader on-site and had to call in the card number. So, based on my experience, I could recommend their service, but either pay in cash or a one-time use card like mine. NOTE: I reported this to the office manager and owner and they both were very polite and apologetic (as a previous business owner and supervisor I know how frustrating a bad employee can be), but in this day and age you should have business processes in place to avoid this kind of thing. UPDATE: In less than 24 hours the office manager followed up with me to notify me of the steps they had taken, which were very thorough, including going through a compliance check with their credit card processor. Knowing they are taking the issue seriously, I feel safer hiring them again in the future. (updated rating based on their follow-through)

Capital Improvement built a paved walkway, stairs, and a patio from the front of my house to the rear. The work is absolutely beautiful. I not only find myself enjoying my home more, but an obvious, unanticipated side effect of the work is an increase in square footage of (outdoor) living space. We found this company after our realtor, Jeff Naylor, asked around town. It was perfect! Bradley worked with us remotely and was very accommodating with our schedule. I purchased the most beautiful vinyl plank flooring from Floorida Flooring and had them install it throughout my home a couple of years ago. I've loved this flooring since the day it was installed. Unfortunately, I recently had some issues with the edge of one of the planks breaking and I was so upset because these floors should last a long time. I sent a letter via email to the owner, Christina Powers and she responded immediately and wanted to know how quick she could come look at the issue. There was a small issue in one area that she had the guys come out, correct the issue and replace the planks in that area. She is my hero. I have my beautiful floors back and she has my utmost respect as a business owner because she stands behind her products and work. It's not always about the initial sale, it's about how the issues are handled. I highly recommend her, their products and their installers to anyone that wants perfection and nothing less. You all have a customer for life.

We love our new master bathroom! Our old whirlpool tub took up a lot of space and was rarely used, the shower door was getting crusty and we were having some issues with mold and chipped tiles, so needed an update. Originally we just wanted a walk-in shower, but quickly realized it would look better if the whole bathroom were remodeled. Working with McManus made remodeling relatively easy as they guided us through the entire process, including daily checks of the work being done and daily logs to keep us informed and updated. Our designer, Stephanie Jen, understood what we were looking for and came up with excellent choices from the McManus showroom, which we could see in person as well as in digital mock-ups. We were given links for choosing accessories so we could take our time at home to review all the possibilities. A detailed budget was drawn up to help us with the financial aspects of the job and determining what we wanted to spend. Everything was ordered before the job began and stored in a trailer in our driveway, making it easy for the subcontractors to have what they needed. Our project manager, Sam Burton, was on site once or twice every day to confer with the subs, inspect their work to make sure it was up to McManus' standards and keep them on schedule. Both Stephanie and Sam were very helpful, answering all of our questions and ensuring we were happy with the finished product. There were a few short delays, and minor problems such as wood rot and missing studs behind our old shower and tub which had to be corrected, but the project finished mainly on time and on budget. As the daughter of a former carpenter-contractor, I appreciated the attention to detail and the high standards of work. It was not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for, and we are very happy that our investment resulted in a high-quality, beautiful bathroom with relative ease and minimal disruption to our lives. Jonathan has been a pleasure to work with. After a tree damaged my detached garage I reached out to several contractors and roofers. Some came out, some of those provided quotes and some never even responded or ghosted me. Jonathan promptly responded to my call and was able to inspect the damage and provide me with a reasonable and timely repair quote. He went above and beyond in helping me with my insurance adjuster and was even able to provide a recommendation for a roofer. He and the roofer were able to work in tandem so that Jonathan and his team could make the structural repairs while the roofers were on site. This ensured the process went smoothly and all work was completed on time and within budget. His prompt response time, willingness to listen to the homeowner and ability to provide advice and options where needed is an invaluable asset to homeowners.

We contracted with Chris Lewis of C.S. Lewis Construction to build an outdoor porch pavilionover an existing tile patio on the back of our house and we are extremely pleased with theresult. Chris and his team were very professional and so easy to work with, and everythingturned out even better than we had hoped for. One of the things that we liked most about Chrisand his team was that whenever we had questions or thought about changing this or that designaspect on the fly, they were extremely helpful and accommodative in providing thoughtfulcomments and / or suggestions for us to consider. And, in fact, a couple of these designchanges were incorporated into the final result. One of our primary goals was to have astructure built which looked like it had always been part of the original house. Chris andcompany hit it out of the park on this matter, as everything about the porch pavilion - right downto the matching roof shingles and profile of the fascia and soffits - exactly matches the look anddesign of the main house. Rock solid is by far my favorite pest control company in Tallahassee. It's ran by Mr. Roger Whitt. I recently experienced roaches for my first time. I moved into a home and had the pleasure of fixing up this home and finding an infestation of roaches, Mr. Whitt sent one of his technicians out and they had the problem under control with in an hour. This was just my most recent experience, I can remember Mr. Whitt himself coming out to my house years ago with his dog Lucky. He always provides such great value to his work. I love rock solid.
I can't say enough about Sarah and Jay! They came immediately when I called in a panic because I heard something in the walls. They did a thorough inspection, inside and out. They came back two days later just to follow up and make sure we didn't have access points. Jay even located points where we needed to do some work because it may cause bees in the future! On 6/20/2023 our technician Raymond came out. We had been having concerns of wasp nests and a few other things. He quickly sprayed the nests and removed the nests. Then he went on to educate me on the type of wasps. He also assessed an outside entry for the wasps and as the case may be that had already occurred. Raymond was friendly, knowledgeable and so very polite. My experience at Scenic has been a blessing. I made supervise in 5 months and received employer of the Year in 2018 and i give all thanks to GOD for allowing Scenic Landscaping to over my past and give me a second chance.
Fielder helped remove damaged trees on and around our house as emergency service after the tornado in May 2024. We used Fielder again in Oct 2024 for non-emergency tree and branch removal and stump grinding. Different estimators came for each visit, both certified arborists, and were very knowledgeable and helpful as they walked us through the removal process, and didn't try to upsell us to remove healthy trees. They also provided guidance on keeping snags (safely away from structures) for use by wildlife.
The work Fielder did was beyond satisfactory: they used a crane for safety (for our property and themselves), cleaned up all debris, were efficient, and neatly stacked cuttings we requested to keep for firewood. The workers walked us through the process before starting, and followed the contract exactly as written weeks earlier. The stump grinder came on a seperate day when we weren't home; they did the job correctly, and neatly cleaned up the sites. We highly recommend using Fielder for tree service and would definitely use them again for future needs!

I engaged Capital Tree Service to remove four oak trees and three magnolia trees from my property in the fall of 2016. In addition, they trimmed many oak branches hanging over from my neighbor's yard which for years, had hindered grass growth in my back yard. Their price also included haul away and root grinding. I was very happy with their service and the time frame in which they did the work. As a result of their care and professionalism, I was able to hold my daughter's wedding reception in the yard in September of 2016. We needed a bulk quantity of drainage rock and river rock for an open French drain project. Our first-ever interaction with this firm was a very pleasant and helpful phone conversation with Barbie. We then drove to their office/yard to look at their rock and stone options. Again, in person, Barbie was very helpful and accommodating. After checking our measurements we called to place an order for delivery which happened SAME DAY! This is almost unheard of nowadays! We probably got lucky on that part. The truck driver was awesome and put the load exactly where it needed to be dumped. The prices and the service were above expectations!
The Armstrong team trimmed/pruned the tree roots around my driveway to prevent concrete damage. This was after we had to replace large sections of the driveway due to cracking and lifting by tree roots. Pruning the tree roots is now on my calendar for every eight years!!! I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Torgerson and his team. I historically have had a fear of the dentist and always dread going, but I found Dr. Torgerson recently when I needed to be seen on short notice - it was the best dental experience I have ever had, and I will never go anywhere else in the future. From my first phone call with Robin through every interaction in office, and even a hand-signed personal note sent in the mail afterward, Dr. Torgerson and his team were kind, professional, communicative, and caring. I felt totally taken care of and respected, and they patiently talked through my care with me. I never felt rushed or confused about my treatment plan, and I even told my husband that I WANTED to go back to the dentist again - that is a first for me!

Always love coming here to see Dr.Byrne. She has been our family dentist for longer than I can remember, so every visit truly feels like visiting family. No matter how far I have moved ( I’ve lived overseas and in multiple states), Dr.Bryne always remains my home dentist and dentist of choice. Although I obviously wish the car accident hadn’t happened, I’m glad to have met the folks here and received the gentle yet effective treatment they offer.

I have gone to this practice off and on since 2018. I am thankful they take time to speak with me regarding my overall health. They don’t charge me the price of my first born child or lock me into any huge package. They gave me exercises to warm up on arrival and even ways to help my neck while at home. I have been a patient of Dr Russo for over 4 years. Dr Russo has done more for my lower back problem than any other Chiropractor I have seen. He has extensive knowledge and experience not only with chiropractic but orthopedics, physical therapy and neurology. He offers the best of the best. I had full knee replacement recently and decided I only wanted the best physical therapist for my recovery. I would never go anywhere else but to Dr Russo for my physical therapy.

Since I've been seeing Dr. Donofro at Lost Robles for more than 10 years - I felt it was time to update my review. She has provided the highest quality and most compassionate veterinary care for the 5 beloved dogs that have come into my life for more than a decade.I have presented her with some of the most challenging and difficult cases of her career I suspect, and she always delivers. My sweet Molly had a very difficult seizure disorder that was complicated with an electrical injury she has as a baby before I adopted her, and Dr. D. kept Molly going, happy and content for many more years than anyone expected her to stay with us. She saved her life multiple times and because she thinks outside of the box and embraces a variety of traditional and holistic modalities, she accomplished life changing and life saving treatment on Molly time and time again.Dr. D. has also provided miracle working care for two of my dogs fighting cancer, and my sweet Sammy, who doesn't become ill very often, but when he does, he requires Dr. D's brilliant, unique, and expert care. I'm hoping my puppy Charlie gives her a break and doesn't bring the strange, weird, and "WTH" kind of cases that are typical with my dogs. LOL.Dr. D truly cares, stays incredibly involved in continuing education, is an expert researcher, and maintains relationships with experts through the state for those times when she needs to refer out. I truly hope she doesn't retire anytime soon!!

Dr. Lacey helped both our horses. Upper respiratory infections instead of putting on steroids, as another vet recommended, she correctly diagnosed allergy tests and shots! The steroids would have been detrimental to them both. She saved their lives! Thank you great horse vet!

capitol circle vet is an amazing vet , very attentive, great communication and friendly. when my cat got spayed and wasn’t feeling well afterward, they’ve helped as much as possible to get her back to good health. they’ve called 2 days in a row to check up on her and got me in after hours when they learned she still wasnt feeling well after her first visit. the normal exam is usually only $50 and everything else they’ve charged me has never been an absurd price. they get you in and out, never had to wait longer than 10 mins, all the veterinarians, vet assistants, and front desk employees are very nice. no complaints about this vet, i’d recommend it to anyone.
Our dogs love it here ? ?♀️ ❤️- they have groomed our old girls and puppies alike, and always do a great job.

This was the first time attending a yoga class I always thought I was too big to do yoga and there was no way I could get into the positions. I started off attending the Yin Yoga class and it was fantastic. I felt comfortable in this class and was able to get into the positions. The instructor was amazing. After the class I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you!

I am continually deeply impressed with the years of study, training, experience and wisdom Joanna and Hal present in asana classes, Bhagavad Gita weekends, kirtan, etc. they are generous with their time and energy, and are committed to walking the path bravely, with integrity, honesty and zeal. I have received a well grounded and informed experience of every facet of yoga… A true gem of a studio. I am home.?
At 4, our son started in the Killearn Lakes TaeKwonDo program. At (He recently graduated with his black belt, and we are so very honored that he finished with the Marky family by his side. Other studios in Tallahassee offer the TaeKwonDo program, but their customer service and attention to detail differ from Killearn Lakes TaeKwonDo. There is no other studio in TLH that can match this program. We love the Marky family and all they have offered our son. Thank you for helping him gain so many life lessons you, the experts, taught better! We will forever appreciate this studio.
I did a 4 class trial i really like it ! Definitely will be back ! The place is nice and clean . The instructor is very good too !!! She makes sure you're doing it correctly not just taking your money that's what i like !
Jost is the best Pilates instructor I have ever taken class from, whether it is a traditional mat class, yoga Pilates blend, or the reformer. Every class is different, challenging, inspiring, strengthening, and I am NEVER bored. I have chronic back pain and his reformer class did more for this pain than months of physical therapy, Pain management doctors, or massage. He is truly a master at his craft. he gives a variety of cues, he is creative in his sequencing, and he will challenge you to do more than you think you can. He also provides modifications as needed. I have never hurt myself in his class which speaks a lot to his level of training, continued self study, and attention to his clients.
I had such a great experience here. The office got me in quickly. I’ve had hundreds of massages and Ra is the best masseuse I’ve ever had. He is very knowledgeable and kind. When I went in, I was feeling physically sick from stress. He helped me relieve so much tension I was holding in my body and I felt so much better after the massage. I will definitely be back!

From the moment I walked in, Anna made me very comfortable. The massage was exceptional, and different from others I’ve had before, her use of hot stones was very well done. I can’t say enough great things about her style. I had a facial as well, and it was like an extension of the massage, but to my face, with the wonderful different techniques she uses. I recently received Susan's Relaxing Massage and I cannot recommend this enough! It was a full on sensory experience including hot towels on my hands and feet, a warm lavender face mask that smelled lovely, headphones with sound frequencies to relax my brain, and a lovely massage. I caught myself zoning out and by the end of it all I didn't want to leave. I felt so blissed out and relaxed!!! I also slept like a baby that night. Thank you Susan!!!

Alisia is one of the best massage therapist that I have ever known. She is absolutely wonderful and you feel 10 times better after a massage if you have fibromyalgia or spasms muscle pain and anyway she will be able to help you.

Dr. Min came highly recommended to me and after dealing with a terrible case of tennis elbow, I finally made an appointment. I have seen acupuncturists in the past, but I needed to see Dr. Min to help relieve the pain I had been feeling in my elbow for just shy of a year that a cortisone shot and my chiropractor were unable to cure. After looking at my tongue (common way to assess a patient in acupuncture), bloodwork, and paperwork I had filled out, Dr. Min determined the tennis elbow was not the extent of my issues. She noted I was still full of inflammation after having COVID twice. She put me on a strict eating regimen and recommended a few supplements that are helpful for my body. I have now been seeing Dr. Min for a few months and not only is my elbow pain almost gone, but I am down twenty pounds. Additionally, she is helping me with another issue I was having. I have recommended Dr. Min to others and will continue to do so because like my friend who referred me says, "Dr. Min is magical."
