“I joined Diakadi in the summer of 2021 and I have been working out with Dan Stahl ever since. Dan has done an amazing job of creating an exercise program that is tailored to my needs. The gym never feels crowded and the “open gym” hours are even less so. The equipment is well maintained and space is always clean. I have recommended Diakadi and Dan to everyone I know. Thank you to the owners, Billy and Mike, for creating such a positive and welcoming environment.“

“I love Custom Fit and working out with Moe. She has helped me regain strength and stability after a TKR. She is very supportive but also encourages me to move out of my comfort zone when it's appropriate. She's designed at home workouts for me as well. The studio is modern, clean and inclusive. I see everyone from elite athletes to seniors working on balance. I'd highly recommend Custom Fit and Moe.“

“Kauno is great! Great facility with all the right equipment and space. The staff is very professional, friendly and knowledgable. In particular, Andrew has been super helpful working with me. I have been training to run a race and dealing with a knee injury that impacted my training. Andrew has helped me understand my injury, and created a personalized plan to help get me stronger and feeling better fast. 10/10 would recommend this to any other active person dealing with / getting over an injury.“

“I've been training with Alex for a few years now and working with him is one of the highlights of my day! He is just an awesome coach - very knowledgeable, personable, and positive. He is great at explaining complex movements, watching how you move and giving great feedback. I've been able to learn how to rope climb, do double-unders, string toes to bar, and achieve many personal weightlifting records thanks to his insightful cues. “After six years of trying out a half dozen private and big box gyms, and several strength-based group classes like F45 and Barry's, I can say without hesitation that the hype around Flagship is warranted. I saw my confidence and overall fitness soar over just five months of regular attendance. Kudos to the Flagship team for building such a fun, friendly, and inclusive space (their claim about having the friendliest coaches is true).It's also true that it's the most expensive fitness membership I've ever held, and Flagship's excellent coaches — Jon, Zach, Nikki, and Anaïs — and flexible memberships team have made it an *investment* worth every penny for me. Facilities are clean and well-maintained; personalized attention and safety has been central to every class I've attended.Dog-lovers would be well-advised to take Zach's morning classes, who also has impeccable class music selections :)“

“Jill Harris is an amazing trainer, and her development of FitSprings takes exercise -- any kind of technique! -- to the next level and beyond. As someone who has studied ballet since childhood and practices yoga, working out on FitSprings lets me strengthen without being tight and heavy, and builds flexibility and my quick-twitch muscles while keeping my joints and muscles happy, healthy, and well-stimulated. (Never strained -- ever.) There isn't another workout that compares. I just attended Jill's teacher training this weekend, and the possibilities with this equipment are truly endless. I can't praise or recommend Jill Harris and FitSprings enough.“

“I started training with Francisco a few months ago with the goal to get fit and healthy. The timing just so happened to also coincide with my upcoming wedding.Francisco is very knowledgable and also knows what types of exercises to do to target specific areas of the body. He knows the right balance of providing you with challenging exercises, but also reminding you to listen to your body. He is also great about making sure you are doing things in the correct form to prevent any sort of injury.After just a few weeks of training and staying disciplined with my diet, I was feeling stronger and seeing changes in my muscle mass. Even now, I am still seeing changes and look forward to seeing even more progress as I continue with my training. I always look forward to my weekly sessions with Francisco. His positive and encouraging attitude helps you stay motivated and focused. It also makes training fun, even when it's challenging!Francisco has a good heart and it shows in the way he puts so much care and effort into helping his clients get strong and be their best. He expects his clients to work hard outside of sessions with him and rightfully so. He gives you the tools, but it's ultimately your choice how you want to use them. “Brian is a well rounded and knowledgeable trainer. Before beginning by training sessions I had mentioned my injuries and Brian planned the training program keeping my injuries and goals in mind. I have been training for few months now and I have never had any injuries and happy with my progress.During our sessions, Brian is constantly offering clear and effective feedback for getting the most out of each exercise- a telltale sign that he's paying close attention. He makes small adjustments in posture and movements that are immediately felt, and I leave each session feeling like I got the most out of the hour.I would highly recommend Brian. I've had several trainers in the past and Brian is by far the BEST!!!!“

“I have been taking personal training and small group classes at Powerplaysf since July 2023 and I have had such a great experience. Shout out to Kwanua, Daniel, Fabi, Jen, and Pudji in particular! What is amazing to me is that they offer exceptional individualized and personalized service while at the same time offering a wide variety of classes and approaches to personal training so you can experiment and switch things up. For example, I have done one on one boxing, Pilates, and weight training and small group strength and conditioning, Trx, yoga, boxing, and Pilates classes. All of the personal training and small group classes have been excellent. I've also had to travel quite a bit for work and they have been very flexible letting me make up sessions and classes or even doing personal training remotely. A few highlights: I have been taking a one on one boxing class with Fabi for several months. She is an excellent instructor/trainer. As a former overweight, uncoordinated kid, who tended to shy away from any kind of exercise that seemed "too complicated" I'm amazed by my progress! I have also been taking a Trx small group class from Daniel for several months. He is also an excellent instructor. I was definitely a little intimidated by the class description and the word "athlete," but Daniel has done such a great job encouraging me to perform my best. It feels great at 36 to really do something out of my comfort zone. I would highly recommend powerplay!“

JJ has assembled a solid group of trainers, who are always looking out for you.Correcting form, encouraging you, and riding the fine line of getting more out of every workout without the risk of injury. Always coming up with creative exercises that are catered to your strengths and weaknesses and leaving egos at the door.I especially like the “small class” approach they take, as I don’t feel like I need 1-1 time for the entire time. Just enough to keep me accountable, push me for that last rep, and recalibrate every 8 weeks depending on progress.“

From always being on-time, organized and extremely professional, to helping me meet my personal strength and fitness goals (never thought I would be able to say ‘I can deadlift and squat 125lbs!’), Andy is the best. He believes in perfect form and training you on the fundamentals to keep your body safe so you know how to train on your own. He is wise beyond his years, and can always make you laugh (even at a 6am session).“
