My son (who is elementary school-aged) has been taking drumming lessons at Poway Music Academy with Emmanuel for a few years now, and we highly recommend music lessons here! Emmanuel teaches various instruments to both adults and children, and he is very kind and so great in teaching and encouraging my son during lessons. Wile Emmanuel will choose certain songs and beats for learning purposes, he also allows my son to choose songs he wants to learn, and Emmanuel will even write out the music for the song if he doesn't already have it. Emmanuel is an amazing teacher and musician and because he can play multiple instruments, he will often play guitar along with a song my son is learning, which is not only a lot of fun for my son but helps with his drumming. If you are looking for drumming or guitar lessons, this is the place to go to!

I suffer from chronic lower back pain (pinched nerve at L4/L5) and needed to strengthen my core and lower body. I decided to train with Anatoliy after reading the overwhelmingly positive yelp reviews. I've been training twice a week for about 5 months and see considerable improvement in my core and lower body strength (about 20-25%). My lower body mobility has improved substantially. I couldn't even squat 2/3 of the way down or do even a single lunge without holding on for support. Now, I can do lunges, squat all the way to the floor and get up using my core strength without any support. A few things I find very helpful: 1) Anatoliy always asks how my back pain level is at the beginning of every session and tailors the workout based on my pain level (usually between a 3 and 4 out of 10)2) He knows how to motivate and push me to my optimum level of performance3) I always leave the sessions feeling great with a sense of accomplishment4) Relief in my lower back pain the next few days even though my lower body muscles are sore in a good way5) Anatoliy's suggestions on improved nutrition, sleep etc.Anatoliy's guidance helped me regain my confidence and reinforced my belief that I can overcome my lower back issues and improve my quality of life. I look forward to my training sessions with Anatoliy every week. He genuinely cares about my improvement and overall well being.

Dr. Bloomberg is the best eye doctor I've ever been to. And I've worn glasses since grade school! He's warm, kind, compassionate, and oh so knowledgeable. He makes sure I understand everything about my aging eyes and calms my fears and concerns. Other doctors have had to remake the glasses because the prescriptions were wrong. Andy has been cutting my hair for a few years now and I can say he is the best there is. His attention to detail is amazing. Clean shop, good music and very easy to talk to. If it's your first there, you will walk in a customer but leave as a friend. You get that old school barber vibe where your not just getting a haircut but having conversations, joking and catching up on what's new.

Cherie is the best! My daughter is a competitive dancer and has a crazy schedule, and Cherie takes her in late at night waaay after normal business hours. She also has the best products, and gives my daughter the most beautiful spray tan I've ever seen. It's never orange and matches perfectly with my daughters natural skin tone.

I had a good experience here. There was a pretty limited set of gel colors (at least that I was aware of) but the service was good. The luxury pedicure was a wonderful treat to myself, and I think my gel nails came out well. Everyone was really friendly. Definitely recommend making an appointment, but I did see them able to accommodate one walkin (but later walk ins were turned away because they were full with reservations).

Friendly atmosphere. Great prices! The nail polish itself rubbed off on 2 toes before I went to bed that night which surprised me because it was the gel polish. I realized we never did the curing light on it and I guess that makes a difference.... Definitely recommend them still.

I'm so grateful for Instagram ads for introducing me to Anna! I personally am super afraid to try a new hairdresser since some judge my hair or don't cut/style the way I like it. But I gave my full trust to Anna and I'm so glad that I did. Not only did she style and did my hair so great but she's really fun to chat with! Finding the place wasn't hard at all and there are many parking spaces so parking is definitely not an issue. I didn't expect an hour to fly by so fast from her. She first washed my hair and then gave a cut and some curls to my hair and it came out so beautiful that I couldn't believe that it was my hair. I even prebooked my appointment with her in the coming months cause she is completely booked for a couple of months already! That's how you know many like to get hair done from her! Thuy (Twee) has been doing my nails for years, and I wouldn’t go to anyone else! My nails look beautiful and professional, and I get compliments on them all the time. She typically only does nail dipping. She has another person here, who does gel and more artistic nails. Thuy also does great pedicures and particularly specializes in pedicures to thoroughly clean and exfoliate your feet particularly with people that have difficult and problematic areas on their feet. Just finished my appointment with her, and I'm very happy with the result! Showed her photos that I pulled from online of what I generally wanted, and she did it! Decided on a whim that I wanted to change up my hair (literally, last night) and after some Yelp searching, I found Hair By Kaylynn. She offers booking an appointment online through Yelp or Vargo (on her website) as well as calling/text. After selecting from the available times for the next day, I sent in my request and it was accepted quickly. She is located in Phenix Salon Suites in Poway with her own little private room (as are the other beauticians in the building). I thought that was cool -- first time seeing that kind of set up. She is so nice and sweet, and she told me everything she was doing with my hair from the beginning along with the products she used. She made sure I got what I wanted and also gave her suggestions. I am usually afraid of getting my hair done (I have a little bit of social anxiety) but I am looking forward to coming back to her for my future beauty needs.

My friend booked an appointment for me here as a birthday gift. Before visiting, I had never gotten a facial treatment before, so I didn't know what to expect. I was nervous at first, but MaryRose was fantastic! Right away, she asked me to tell her about my skin type, so I let her know I have very dry, sensitive skin. She also asked if I had any allergies. She was very thorough, which I appreciated. The whole facial was about one hour long, and it included lots of different masks, a cleanser, a nice steam, a light treatment, and warm towels. She also included a shoulder/neck massage. On each step she let me know what product she was applying and what its purpose was. It made me feel a lot less nervous about having any type of skin reaction. MaryRose is also really funny and I enjoyed talking with her during the treatment. I'm going to tell all my friends to book an appointment :) keep in mind she is open on Wednesdays only!

I came here for a light treatment but got so much more! She put on a complimentary mask and while I was laying there waiting for my mask to do its thing, she put lotion on my arms and gave me a little massage. I have finally found a place where I feel pampered and the technician is taking their time instead of rushing me in and out like cattle lol She was also very knowledgeable, and very sweet, answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable during each treatment. I'm definitely coming back!
The space is very relaxing. From the aromas to the music and the lighting everything is very calming. The treatment itself was very good - Nina evaluates your skin as well as discuses your needs. She takes the appropriate amount of time to make sure every product used is properly applied and cleaned up. It's almost like a facial massage and I can see my skin look cleansed and hydrated.

Kitchen sink wouldn't drain. Every DIY technique I tried couldn't clear it, including a 35' snake. Time for the pros. I didn't get a confirmation time so had to call them, but was assured they were on their way. Alex arrived middle of the set time. He was friendly, informative and efficient. He was in and out in 45 minutes and the sink is good as new. He gave me some suggestions for maintenance and and future potential services. Highly recommended.

25 years ago Paul installed 3/4" oak flooring in my 75 year old house in Coronado. Big job! 2000sf along with staircase and landing. Andrew Cason and his team have done a great job at building business relationships over the years and they treat their customers with care and respect. Their effort is individual to the Association's/Board's needs. They have a great reporting system for property inspections and when issues arise, they are quick to handle the problem and advise Management with photos and text. Responsiveness, attention to detail, friendly customer service, solid reporting - you cant go wrong with Benchmark Landscape!

Fabulous dental practice! They came highly recommended by a friend of mine, and I now have been a patient for about a year and a half. I’ve been coming to Activate chiropractic for over a year now and have loved every visit. Dr Libby is kind, professional, and truly cares. I came in with hip pain and headaches and my hip pain is virtually non-existent now. I had low range movement in my leg and hips and now I am way more flexible. My headaches are also better!! Community Chiropractic is so amazing. All the doctors are amazing and helped me so much with my torn rotator cuff. I couldn’t move my arm at all, but after just a week of treatment with them, my pain level was almost to a zero. Now living completely pain free after just three weeks of treatment. Dr. Chris posses deep knowledge about body systems. His ability to intuit and palpate the source of body pain is remarkable. His ability to apply his therapeutic skill to encourage healing puts him among one of best chiropractors I’ve seen.He addressed a nagging issue I’ve had for the last several years and did it in just a few sessions. He also gave me exercises I can do to strengthen my body to prevent this issue from re-emerging.I can’t thank him enough for getting me back to my full physical potential!
My friend referred me to Dr. Seibert when I could barely move because my back hurt so badly. She has given me my life back. My doctor had just told me that because of my scoliosis I had arthritis in my lower back. I went into her office not knowing if I would be able to exercise or do any sports ever again. Now I am able to play pickleball and do boxing classes at again. I am so grateful to her and her whole staff!! Don’t hesitate to go to the office to get yourself some help and to be able to move again!

I admire Dr. Matthew Kelchner on his professionalism, effectiveness of treatment, overall patient experience and patient satisfaction. After 8 years of intermittent pain and several second and third opinions, Dr. Kelchner effectively managed and treated my back pain.

I am very satisfied and thankful with the service and urgency they had for my baby. She is a 8 1/2 yr old Beagle mix. I came home Wednesday to some vomit... not really unusual for 3 dogs, she then had bubble gut all night. Thursday morning I fed them and left to work... came home to massive amounts of vomit and bloody gelatinous poo. I started calling and could only get an appt. for Monday. Friday i went to work and started calling places in my area, again Monday, no urgency. I work in poway so I started searching here. This is the 1st place I called trying to get an appt for Saturday and was told NO... u need to come now. This is the 1st place that truly showed concern for my baby and its a good thing because she had pancreatitis and her blood work was off the charts high!! They do in-house blood work and Xrs and I feel their prices are very reasonable. Even tho they are 30mins from me, they will be my go to vet care
I came to this location based on reviews and recommendations from the Moms of Poway FB group. They were totally awesome with our goldendoodle. The price, customer service, and the entire experience was perfect. We recently moved so we hadn't moved over our vet services and were still driving 45 minutes to visit our old vet because it's so hard to find good veterinary services, it's like finding a good mechanic, you don't know who to trust, they know they have you by the heartstrings when it comes to your beloved pets and you'll pay anything. So to find someone who won't gouge you or say they need a million procedures just to get more money out of you, is very rare in this industry. The bill was even less than I was quoted, it was very inexpensive, every single person that worked there was nice. They saw me there with my two kids and they were kind to them while we waited. It's great to see nice people who enjoy their jobs in this day and age. Since the pandemic it's hard to find people that appreciate working. I love this place, we have officially found our new vet. Take your pets here, you won't be disappointed. :)

I was referred to Best Friends by my neighbor. I'm so glad we came here. Dr. Rollason is the best. He's compassionate, caring, takes time to explain everything in lamens terms. He consistently gives us options and doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures. The staff has always been friendly and caring. Lifelong vet :)

I love this gym! The owner is very nice and mellow. The gym itself is very relaxing and no pressure or having to worry going to a big gym and being intimidated by all the other members who are so hard core. This is a great place to go if you just want a worry atmosphere where you can go at your own pace and I love the small classes!
My back was hurting so bad the night before and instant relief after the massage was over.
I had my first massage by Sarah and was very happy with the experience. I got a one hour body massage and felt so much better afterwards. My massage was super relaxing and helped relieve any tension and stress I had. I even had a light headache before going and it was gone afterwards. Even the next day I felt relaxed.An additional consideration is Sarah has an online scheduler so you can book an appointment so you don't need to wait for office hours to call in and figure out the best time. The reminders are super helpful too.If you are on the fence, I would definitely recommend getting a massage from Sarah. I for one am looking forward to going back.

Allen is my favorite and my go-to!!! He is absolutely amazing. I did have a women once and she demanded more time money. I do suggest preparing to tip over 25-30% . Allen has always been thankful for my tips and I haven't been back since that woman was a little too aggressive. I'm writing this review in hopes that I can get comfortable again and see Allen. He is the best at head Massages and makes me feel better every single time. You also have to remember this is NOT a traditional massage place. This is an Asian style reflexology massage. They will touch your legs, butt, etc and not mention anything. Just enjoy it!
Excellent! Dr Mosher was able to detect a gall bladder problem weeks before I had an emergency gall bladder operation. He is now helping me with hypothyroid issues.

Dr. Pin Lu is amazing at diagnostics and the following care. I can't praise her enough! Brought both my kids and keep referring friends. Her facility is also very pleasant, and everybody is very friendly. I didn't know that accupuncture can do so much! First time I came when I had big stress in life, and didn't know what to do with it. Pin Lu made me relaxed and calm after only one session! I can only highly recommend this place.
Amazing. A family friend who is a doctor referred me here. I had never done acupuncture for pain relief and a dentist recommended it for TMJ. I've had aching for a long period following an injury, but the pain increased sharply from extra clenching during a particularly stressful time. After the first acupuncture session, I had enough relief that it felt like a strong ache instead of sharp pain, which was more progress than I anticipated for the first day.Another plus: they take walk-ins. I will certainly return if a similar issues arises.
Kelly is a fantastic acupuncturist. I took my 11 year old daughter last week as she's been dealing with severe muscle tightness in her neck. After just one session, her physical therapist was blown away by the improvement. Kelly is calm, knowledgeable and very reassuring, which comes in handy when dealing with a needle-phobic tween! Highly recommend!
