“On the outset, I had talked to a few different trainers, but John had a good vibe and I generally felt confident with his approach to correct form. In addition to being a highly knowledgeable trainer, he's also just a rad human! Definitely recommend giving him a call.I worked out with John 2x a week for over 6 months while easing back into shape. My goals were to gain muscle and avoid injury, and he helped me achieve both. I had a DEXA scan, measuring body fat and lean muscle, before and right at the end of our time together, and I had a pretty big improvement, which we were both stoked about.I knew I would eventually "graduate", and John set me up to be able to move forward on my own in a gym and feel more confident creating workouts for myself. He even checked in with me a few weeks later to see how I was doing and if I needed help decoding any of the machines.“

“What I really love about F 45 are the coaches. Whitney and Jackson will correct your form so you actually feel your muscles working. Billy will bring enthusiasm and perfect form. Kirsten (the owner) is equally good. Schedule is: resistance day on Tuesday and Thursday and Sundays; hybrid day on Monday, Friday and Saturday and a cardio day on Wednesday. I have seen moms bring in their kids to read and play in the bean bag area while they work out; also they bring their dogs(!!) and tether them by the door. I’m hoping to do the same myself. They encourage you a lot and they help you get into really good shape. This place is totally worth the $45 a week unlimited membership.“

After hearing about my struggle with back pain when lifting he offered to give me tips on my form and did an incredible stretch session that honestly left me feeling 2 inches taller! I got to meet the manager in Body Mechanix too and they were both so friendly and professional. Thanks for the kindness to someone who isn't even a member (yet) Tarrell. He's the real deal, highly recommend the staff there.“

“Came here for my first Bootcamp class via ClassPass. When I arrived, I wasn't sure if the place was actually open for business because it was boarded up on the windows. With reassurance from the owner (whose phone number was on Google), it was indeed open for business, I was excited to get moving for my Friday workout. I was introduced to the owner and other people who showed up for the class and I could tell they were regulars. The place looked pretty legit as you know I love legit gyms :-) I was asked to disinfect the bottom of my shoes as street shoes aren't allowed on the floor, since we laid on them for floor workouts. That made me feel better because I ain't tryna rest my head on a floor where people before me don't know where to walk sometimes and you don't know where they come from ahem, SF CITY STREETS!!! This was my first Bootcamp class in a long while so I was pretty thankful that Virgil (owner and trainer) allowed me to modify my workouts. It was a damn good sweat and I had great energy the rest of the day.“

I just haven’t been able to gym at this specific location in a few weeks due to the hours always changing around and already being closed when I arrive. I just wish it stayed 24hours.
