Smart Heating and Air Conditioning is a locally owned family business in the Bay Area, offering a wide range of HVAC services for residential clients in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. They focus on providing honest and high-quality services for heating and air conditioning systems. Their technicians are known for their knowledge, friendliness, and punctuality, with many clients appreciating their patience, honesty, and thorough work.

A reviewer praised Chris Freeman for explaining potential future issues and diagnosing a problem with their old AC unit, while others highlighted Zach's data-backed recommendations, which made decision-making easier. The staff, including Juan, Emilio, Mike, and Suzy, were described as kind, friendly, patient, caring, and honest. They thoroughly inspected and cleaned the AC and furnace, both of which are now running like new, even though the furnace is over 30 years old.

Clients also value the company's clear communication, with staff ensuring they understood their options and provided cost-effective solutions. The owner, Mike Jestadt, personally inspected the work to ensure every detail was perfect, which increased clients' confidence in their decisions.

The company’s quick service was especially appreciated when they replaced a 23-year-old system, installing a new AC the day after the estimate. Despite a minor issue with the fan staying on, it was resolved promptly the next day. Overall, clients highly recommend Smart Heating and Air Conditioning for their honesty, professionalism, and reliable service.
