I have been in the commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Industry for 30+ years, and could not be more thankful to have found Summit Airworks. They are the ONLY HVAC contractor I trust and recommend to all my local friends and family to do service and replacement work. In 2025 they changed out my older large AC unit which had gas fired heat for a new variable speed heat pump unit and my energy use dropped by 25%. The new large unit uses the same power as my smaller older AC unit. This fall we are proactively changing the other unit.
On a quiet Sunday Morning and without warning, our inherited 25-y/o hot water heater decided it had enough and started leaking; slowly at first, then with more volume and velocity. Fortunately we were home at the time and just happened to go into the garage to get something as our attention was drawn to a small 'stream' of water running the length of floor. Realizing the source, we shut off the unit's water and gas (valves), and scrambled to soak up all the water [sitting on pedestal and floor] with some old towels. After the requisite golf course language, we then made the absolute best decision, calling HOTCO in Newcastle. Jen answered in two rings, she quickly and professionally gathered all the necessary information (make/model/capacity) to best understand the situation and ensure they had a comparable unit on tech's truck they could install without delay. She provided a detailed quote immediately which was straightforward and very fair, and in about 60 minutes (on a SUNDAY) their tech - Mathieu - arrived to begin the process of emptying the former tank, disengaging its' connectivity, and the prep/install of a new water heater. This included a new drain pan, a safer and more energy-efficient extension tank, and new straps for earthquake-compliance securing. HOTCO helped turn a disastrous weekend 'surprise' into a non-event, having all the work completed in less than two hours. Mathieu delivered exceptional service. It's very clear he takes pride in his work and he went the extra mile to make sure everything worked correctly. Due to his efforts, we now have a much better configuration (placement/routing of lines and elements) than how the former tank's footprint had been set up. 1,000% better. If you need a new hot water heater (hopefully not in an emergency but they've got you covered if that's the case), call HOTCO. Walked me through everything that needed immediate attention and what could wait until I had some money saved. I got shown back to a room right away. The rooms were calm and peaceful allowing me to really relax. My masseuse was fantastic, she really worked the knots out of my back. I got the 90 min body massage and the whole experience was quite enjoyable. Price wise they are cheaper than the big brands of massage parlors and was worth the cost.

I love this nail/hair salon. My whole family makes a special trip to this salon because of the women that work here. They are all so nice and do great nails. They have tons of colors and Kim is always introducing new colors and trends. They also do hair and brows-bonus and prices are reasonable.
As for the previous negative comment, walk ins are welcome, but if the nail artist is booked with previous clients it’s hard to squeeze you in.

Customer service was great! I’ve never been to a sports cuts before, but we got a coupon for a free haircut at my daughter’s girls softball league’s opening day. Because we were given the coupon at a girls softball league event, I thought that this was a place that did everyone’s hair, not just guys. When I walked it and questioned if they did girls hair (it looks like a dudes only place the moment you walk in), they told me that that is what they specialized in, it that they could do girls’ hair too. The ladies inside were kind, helpful, and patient. Christina cut both of my girls’ hair and made us feel taken care of. We will definitely be back!

I took my son here the other day on a very last minute unplanned visit on a Sunday. They were 30 minutes to closing according to Google maps and Kyle was the only one still there and offered to stay after hours to fit my son in because he had just reminded me that his school picture day was the very next day. We have been to a couple barbershops so far around the area and no other place has been able to get my son‘s cut just the way he likes it except for Kyle. My son was so pleased with his cut that he said he doesn’t want to go to any other barbershop now unless it’s Kyle. Thank you again, Kyle for being so kind and staying after hours to get my boy right for his pictures. We will definitely be back!

I had the best experience ever here! I’m a blue collar man who wears boots and I was reluctant to subject anyone to caring for my neglected feet. However, I had been invited to get a pedicure by a woman so beautiful and otherwise mesmerizing that I had no choice other than to accept.
Despite the horrible state of my feet the staff was undeterred and helped me to relax while they turned my feet into beautiful showpieces. Now I can walk comfortably amongst the highest of society with feet held high!
Besides that, my lovely date has had her nails done here for years and they are always exceptional. The stylist can do some really amazing nail art.
Seriously though, you will be instant friends with the staff here. They’re great.

I went to get a haircut with Lulu and I was super nervous because my hair was very long and I was getting a short cut with lots of layers. She advised me to stay a little longer and I am glad she did because it came out GORGEOUS ?!!! If I would have went anywhere else they would have charged me 120 easily because of my long hair. She only charged me 55. She has alot of experience and I am so glad I came here. She had also cut my sons hair as well couple months and did a good job. I will be coming back to get highlights. Tom installed our whole house fan over 10 years ago. I noticed a squeaking when we first turned it on and should have called for a checkup at that time. Instead, I waited and then BOOM, the fan belt broke. I was shocked that Tom still owns the business and still does the installs and repairs. He came out and not only put on a new belt, but put on a new pully and a new controller that can be operated from your phone via Bluetooth. VERY COOL!!! Everything including the service call came out to less than $250 which I felt was well worth it, just to have our Whole House Fan up and running again.

Valley Carpet Cleaners cleaned 6 rooms in our house. Q was the Technician and did a fabulous job. He was very professional. He worked hard on pet spots to get the carpet cleaned.
We recently moved into an apartment in Citrus Heights and were told the carpet was new, so I initially asked Derek to do a light tile cleaning. It turned out the carpet was not new at all, and the amount of dirt and buildup he pulled out after the previous tenant was surprising. Derek was able to fit us in on short notice when his schedule opened up, and he went ahead with a deep carpet cleaning along with the tile cleaning. He was very fair with pricing and did not charge us as much as he could have, especially since we were not expecting the carpet to need that level of work. The carpet and tile looked so much better afterward, fresh, clean, and fully refreshed. His work was excellent, and he was professional, helpful, and easy to work with the whole time. We will definitely call again for future carpet cleaning and tile service and plan to be repeat customers.

Reliable gave me a competitive bid and their crew did a solid job with window replacement and stucco repair. Jerry the project manager was good about communicating and kept me in the loop. Their stucco guy Rafael was great as were his workers. However what impressed me the most were the last guys, Joe and Shawn who came to finish some drywall repair around the newly installed window on the inside of the home. They went above and beyond and did more than what they were contracted to do just to make sure it would help me finish the rest of the drywall project more easily. The fact that customer satisfaction is considered this important tells me this is good company and I would use them again due to my experience with this project.
We remodeled our kitchen a few months ago. I am giving a 5 star review based on the time and supply chain issues. We contacted several companies on Yelp. Because of the supply chain issue, The first company said we would have to wait 9 months to start the job. The other companies said 3-6 months out. AMCP said 2-4 weeks and we started in 3 weeks. First of all, all of the work was excellent. That included the granite counter top production and installation, installation of appliances, adding the pull out shelves w soft closing, cleanup, patching up from demolition, and the small of carpentry work. I would rate the installation of the tile backsplash very good. Part of the problem was the framing metal. I don't think the corner of the shulers (sp.) came out as well as I expected. Otherwise the tile work was excellent. If I had one overall complaint, it would be the timing of the process. Because of supply chain issues, there were disruptions that delayed the project a little. I discussed this issue w Vadim and he informed me that he was going to add a supervisor. I think the project would have proceeded faster if someone would have been able to adjust the schedule of work order in order to reduce the down time. We loved our granite and there was enough extra granite to add two countertops to a bathroom and hallway. Normally this would have gone to waste. As expected our appliances were late. Vadim installed all of them except the refrigerator, which was delayed and I had the appliance company install it. They cleaned up after work every day. I am very happy with the finished product given we did not replace the cabinets and just had them painted. Overall, I would rate them as excellent. As with any project, there were unforeseen issues. Vadim would listen and address them. We are very happy with our finished product. We enjoy an updated kitchen with granite counter tops and modern appliances.
The job was done to my satisfaction. They did everything they promised and for the most part in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend to my friends for their needs.

Our beautiful tree invaded our plumbing line. Ricky and Kenny replaced a 10 foot section and they were both very professional and friendly. They are a father / son team with decades of experience. The cost was discounted (vet family) but it's still a lot of money for us. However, when I saw the work they did, I changed my mind...it was totally worth the cost! I highly recommend this family owned business.
Happy Hammer has come to our house a couple of times. The first time for an inspection, my one year old followed her around while she did the inspection. At one point my daughter handed her a book and she sat down and read the book to my daughter. It was a special moment that still means a lot to me. Just a small gesture that shows this is a caring company.
Just completed a bathroom water damage / mold remediation project with LIBERTY. Happy to report it was an excellent experience. LIBERTY was responsive, punctual, and professional while performing quality work at a good value. The project was completed ahead of schedule. The crew was on time each day and respectful to the residents throughout the project. Remediation/repairs were completed, and then the area restored to like new condition.

This dentist office was recommended by multiple people in the autism parents group I'm in. From the receptionist who took our initial call to the end of the exam everyone was so helpful and kind. I have been putting off taking her to the dentist because everything is so hard for her and traumatic. She has bad anxiety and is still non verbal. They were so patient and did everything they could to help make her feel comfortable. Of course she still fought it and screamed and cried but they were able to do an oral exam and even get x rays! Thankfully no cavities and everything looks good. The waiting area has a soft play structure and books and my daughter doesn't do well with waiting but she enjoyed playing on that. So thankful we found this place. Thanks to everyone who helped us.

Steven Hammer is the best. I first saw him years ago because of my mom's friend Shallean seeing him. I'm 5 even and I actually got taller for a min. After my first son I was walking bent over. He completely fixed my back.Fast forward years later,I just turned 54,my back,neck,ankle,wrist does this awesome thing. It will just lock. Dr Hammer had unlocked me before expertly. He had actually been doing my back every 2 weeks. Then every 3 weeks. Then it was supposed to be monthly.Well my money got real funny so I haven't seen him in a minute. Wrong decision because the back is so important.So I'm calling today. Office is clean. Very person able. Every step of the way Dr Hammer explains what he's doing and why. He really listens to what you tell him.and if he can help you through other Drs he doesn't mind sharing. He helped me find acupuncture . Helped with shoe(best to wear. Michelle is the receptionist,she's a dream. I've cried with her and shared with her to the point it feels like family. If your looking for a quick fix an in your way ,go somewhere else. He’s helped me with everything from sports injuries to just maintaining my overall health. What I love about him is that he takes a holistic approach to his care. He understands that all systems of the body are interconnected,
therefore he looks for the root of the problem in lieu of just treating the symptoms. I Would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.
I have gone to Dr. Smith since my mid teens (for over 15 years) I highly recommend him! He is gentle with adjustments, which is big for me. I've had to go to other people at times, and Dr. Smith is by far the best!

Oren left hind leg is improving daily. Thank you DR. H Singh. This is our first time here. Surgery was beyond our budget so he suggested we get Oren an injection to alleviate the pain, a cone so he doesn’t lick hos open wound and antibiotic to be taken every 12 hours. It’s been a week, Oren looks alert, eating and moving. We kept him with blanket ma on the ground nothing that he can jumped on and aggravate his leg.
Thank you again Dr H Singh and staff. The location is welcoming. Staffs are attentive and friendly.

My pup was a new pt coming straight from the ER w a severe infection that caused a huge open wound. They have given us top notch service, Lucchi is on the mend and I know it's not only from the meds but from the love and care he gets from the staff.. They're transparent, empathetic, understanding and provide resources for low income! I have 3 dogs and a foster, we have anew vet in the area now! I got shown back to a room right away. The rooms were calm and peaceful allowing me to really relax. My masseuse was fantastic, she really worked the knots out of my back. I got the 90 min body massage and the whole experience was quite enjoyable. Price wise they are cheaper than the big brands of massage parlors and was worth the cost.
I went in limping with pain in both knees down to my calf's. I should also mention I am over 300 lbs, my job is labour intensive/stressful and I have RA. I requested that we do a focus massage (my muscles were angry) to address my pain. Cara Anne was so in tuned to my body. She was hard were she needed to be and made sure I was okay with the pressure at all times. After my hour massage I walked out still able to put more pressure on my knees and now as I write this 10 hours later able to walk without much discomfort. I will be making weekly appointments and then biweekly for maintenance.
As both a colleague and a client of Gina‘s, I can say that she is extremely skilled at both Bowen and NKT. I have been a bodyworker for 20 years and I have never met anybody who can do what Gina does. Her knowledge of anatomy and the way the body is supposed to work, and how to help bring a body and energy back to balance, is amazing. She is a gift to the healing arts and I would highly recommend her to everyone!

I personally had a very good experience at Shanghai massage. It's right off Greenback easy in and out I got the half hour massage but she finished me off in about 15 minutes well worth the price and the Asian massage therapist was very beautiful and tight. Recommend going earlier in the day before they've seen too many clients.

Staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to call them when I had questions and they helped guide me. Christina has been incredible. Getting massaged by a stranger while also being in pain can be a little uncomfortable but she right away put me at ease and made sure I was comfortable, both mentally and physically. Have been going to her for several months now and she always takes great care of me and gives me pointers for relief and future care. She will adjust her massage to my pain level and I always leave feeling great. I’ve suggested her and this place to my coworkers and friends multiple times
