I had a flood in my basement suite. Called THV Ltd.They came and did the emergency restorations right away. Set up dryers, talked about the process and gave a time line once approved. Ken Bradshaw said it would take 4 weeks for the repairs. Now... I work in the insurance industry and these things never take less than 3 months, regardless of the size of the job.Ken & his team came back to do a scope of the repairs submitted it to my adjuster.Jan 4/24 started repairing my suite and by January 26th all repairs were complete.My tenant got to move back in for Feb 1st.Amazing customer service, delivered on time and kept his word. Last week, the EPC light on my car suddenly lit up while I was driving, so I went to the nearest Evergreen Auto. Although John was very busy, he politely attended to me, even though I didn't have an appointment, and scheduled an inspection for the following week. When I went back the next week, the light was no longer on, but John still patiently checked for various possible issues and explained the principles to me. When I asked about the cost, he said there was no charge since there was no problem. I am grateful for John's thorough inspection, which gave me peace of mind. I even saw a crow come in to chat, which turned out to be an old friend of John's. Overall, John is a very kind and professional auto mechanic. Although I have sold my car and am leaving Vancouver soon, and may not visit the auto shop recently, I highly recommend friends in Vancouver in need of auto repair or tire services to go to this shop and see John.

I have been to a handful of shops; some that charge nearly twice as much as Liminal and none of them have demonstrated the same amount of technique and intricacy as I've experienced here. Some people are too sensitive these days and forget the human element of owning a business, people get sick or injured or have emergencies and since he is the only person working here there can be times where he is away from the shop… and I think we should be more understanding and not disregard his skills and amazing haircuts just because he was not at the store on time… you can call his number before coming to confirm..

Had an amazing pedicure experience. Got a full scrub and massage and hot towel and stone massage on my feet and legs and they had massage chairs which left my neck and back super happy. I've only ever done 3 other pedicures at other salons in my life so I don't have a ton of experience to compare this salon to but I felt taken care of and relaxed and the price point was quite reasonable which I was happy with. Kim paid attention to the details and even helped picked a color for me that suites my skin color as I couldn't decide! I walked in without an appointment on a Monday around 2:30pm. They don't have online booking and only accept phone appointments apparently so I wouldn't know if you can also get as fast a service or as detailed in weekends or after 4-5pm on weekdays. Will update this review if I find out ?

I’ve had two services here: a lash lift and eyelash extensions, and both times I was extremely satisfied with the service and results. The faux mink extensions were very impressive, they're incredibly soft and lightweight. I barely feel like I have them on! Washing my face is comfortable, and even after a week, I haven’t noticed any fallout. I’m definitely coming back! Highly recommend!

I got my lashes done by Gloria and they were absolutely amazing! I loved them so much and she gave me the exact look that I was looking for. Unfortunately , It seemed that I am allergic to the glue or to one of the components in the binding agent so I had to remove them the following day. Gloria was extremely helpful and responsive to my needs. She was flexible with her timing and check with me after the procedure was done. Gloria was even willing to provide me with a full refund for my service as I had to remove my lashes a day after I got them done. Needlessly to say I didn’t take the refund as she did an amazing job and I just had a reaction to the glue.I will recommend Gloria and her services everyday and although lashes did not work for me, I will be doing other services with her.

Needing and finding a plumber would never be on my list of things to look forward to but ATA made what is normally a nightmare, so much more manageable and easy going. Tom and another fellow who's name I can't remember came same day (within a few hours of calling), quickly found the problem, drove to pick a part, came back, and repaired our leaking shower in what felt like the same amount of time it took to eat my lunch.

We undertook a major renovation with Mariposa Homes based on a word-of-mouth recommendation. Jason and Ben have been trustworthy, responsive, and hand-on and we would not hesitate to work with them again on our next project. Given they work as a team, we appreciated the strength in numbers - it was like having two general contractors in one. They were detail oriented - for example, Jason noticed some finishing work that wasn't up to his standard and I didn't even have to ask about it - he had asked for it to be redone. They were also organized - every two weeks, Ben had an invoice copy printed and ready for our records. Both were exceptional at communicating with us, especially when problem-solving a bump in the road (as to be expected). They also led a group of professional sub-contractors to complete our renovation and produce quality finishing work. I was able to meet everyone - from the electrician to the plumber, and they were all skilled and informative. Jason and Ben ensured they executed our plans exactly as discussed. I wanted to share how great tech - Brent Armstrong - was today. After years of having the same tech with Rentokil there is always a fear that the service will not be the same with someone new. After calling in about our annually reoccurring ant problem, Brent called me, found out what we needed, checked in with the people who were home to make sure everything was fine, then completed his service professionally and quickly. He definitely went over and above in serving our home today. We are with Rentokil above all other pest control companies (which we’ve tried) because of the great customer service! I found Bucks with Trucks online and emailed them based on all the 5 star reviews. Ben responded in about half an hour and showed up later in the afternoon for a quote. He worked within our budget and gave us a very reasonable quote. The retaining wall they built is impeccable and they used high quality posts and panels for the fence (not home depot value grade stuff) without me even being specific about it. Communication throughout the project was timely and any questions were addressed right away. He kept me in the loop the entire time. There was a small hickup (expected with any project) with delivery of the blocks but Ben dealt with it promptly and professionally, always with a positive attitude. Any requests I had were taken care of. They also went above and beyond to level out my lawn and compact road base on the parking area (which wasn't even part of the scope). I would recommend these guys to anybody! All the best to you Ben, Jeremy and team! Amazing job!

I read the reviews and decided to book an appointment right away, and I’m so glad I did. This was my first time visiting a chiropractor, and I was feeling pretty nervous. However, when I entered the clinic, I was greeted by a relaxing atmosphere and cheerful, helpful staff at the front desk.
Dr. Ali was incredibly skillful and took the time to explain everything happening with my neck and lower back. I’ve been struggling to turn my head to the left while driving, which made shoulder checks painful. I also couldn’t sleep well at night, tossing around and unable to find a comfortable position.
I’ve experienced a lot of symptoms, including vertigo, ringing in my ears, brain fog, and pain at the base of my skull. My right hip was sore as well. After my first visit, I felt a huge relief — the pain at the base of my skull decreased significantly and the buckwheat pillow was amazing. By the fourth visit, I noticed my condition improving more and more.

I recently moved to BC from Scottsdale AZ and was looking for a new vet for my animals. I Reached out on the community Facebook page for vets and after filtering through a couple recommendations chose Eagle Ridge because it is a AAHA hospital which is what my hospital in Scottsdale was. It seems like there is a lot of animal hospitals here but If I'm going to take my pet anywhere I want an animal hospital where I know my animal is getting the best treatment, regardless of cost. If I spend $$$$$ on my gym and getting my hair done the least I can do is spend the money on my pets. At least I know the quality is there and it always is with AAHA hospitals. I have had bad experiences at animal hospitals before where the receptionist with no credentials is assisting in surgery or they don't offer you all the treatment options available and have expected that kind of service from a vet clinic that is corporate or is not an AAHA clinic. Every time I have been at eagle ridge the staff have been very friendly and informative especially in helping me adapt to the new pet food, insurance for my pet, flea products etc which was stressful moving to a new country. I have seen two different vets one for my bunny, and one for my cats, and they were both very gentle with my animals and were personable. I felt that the transparency is there with this clinic and I know I can trust them with my animals care for years to come.
We would like to take a moment to appreciate the care and attention provided during our emergency visit, as well as for looking after Bilbo during his overnight stay.
He is feeling much better now and has regained his usual energy. Both Dr. Jaideep and the rest of the staff were very warm and understanding, despite our anxiety and concern for the health of our furry boy.

Our English bulldog, Winston, was our whole life and love and we wanted the best care for him. He unfortunately had a myriad of health and behavioural issues stemming from being attacked when he was 9 months and losing an eye. The frequent trips to the vet and surgery to remove his eye made him very aggressive with vet hospitals.
The staff at Como Lake were amazing. They kept detailed records of all his issues and we eventually worked out a perfect routine to medicate him and treat him safely and with the least amount of stress. We have used them for several years now and their attention to detail, their compassion, and their skill is top notch.
We have been so happy with their level of service and care for our boy. I know that you will be too. Shout outs to Dr. Doonie and Jessica for working so closely with me over the years. They have been incredible.

I highly recommend Ace at Pet Patrol Grooming & Spa! We brought our squirmy fluffy 11 month old kitten for dematting and she was the calmest I’ve ever seen her! He has an amazing energy with animals. She was purring at one point. The atmosphere is clean, cozy and comfortable. He was efficient and friendly and did a wonderful job! Definitely my new go to cat groomer! Great experience.

I’ve been dealing with the worst back pain I’ve ever experienced for a week, so I walked into Glen Massage hoping to make an appointment. Even though they were busy that night, they went above and beyond to accommodate me. Catherine was incredibly nice and helpful, especially when sorting out my insurance. Helen gave me a 50-minute massage, and her hands work wonders! My back felt so much lighter afterward, and she was so sweet and kind throughout the session. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for effective and caring massage therapy!

Omg, I just had my first session in about 9 months, and I can’t believe I haven’t been in that long. I left my appointment feeling like a loose noodle (in a good way). John Paul DaSilva has magic hands and I can’t say enough good things about him and his massage therapy clinic. A very welcoming place, and I feel like I have kept this amazing place a secret for years now, but I truly can’t believe how talented he is. I have seen a few other massage therapist in this clinic and they are all equally talented and wonderful. John helps me relieve workplace tension in my shoulders (I’m a hairstylist), and has helped me recover from various issues over the years. A few years ago, I completely forgot and missed an appointment. They did not charge me and gave me the grace of rebooking without any additional fee’s. Thanks for that. And thanks again for reminding me how much I love massage therapy!
Courteous staff and easy system to book appointments. Depending on the treatment you choose get ready to be a bit sore the next day but you'll sleep very well.

This was the first time I tried acupuncture. I was in excruciating pain down my neck, back and right arm. Dr. Simon Hong and staff were amazing and very professional. When I left, the pain was reduced tremendously and I was able to breath again. I highly recommand them.

I've had over 15 years of chronic back pain and Rebecca has made my pain so much more manageable now. She does such a thorough assessment and looks at my chronic issues with different lenses so she can really get to the root of the problem. I also appreciate that she ensures my body is moving optimally by the end of the appointment. Because of that, I notice the pain relief and benefits from the treatment last!
I love going to Rowena for facial acupuncture and microneedling. She really helps my skin. Her Tui Na massage with acupuncture really helps with stress and a good nights sleep. Her place is also very clean and puts you at ease.

I have always had a deep-seated fear of acupuncture. Even though my brother experienced a miraculous recovery from potential paralysis thanks to this treatment, the thought of having needles inserted all over my body was daunting. The mere idea that a slight movement could lead to significant pain was terrifying. While I don’t mind needles for blood draws, the thought of being immobilized by a stranger with needles is unsettling.

Sunday morning started feeling dizzy for no reason and could not drive. Soon become very nauseous and had to lie down all day. Two vomiting and diarrhea in the evening, still not able to get up even to drink water. Body temperature was normal so decided not to go Emergency. Called family doctor on Monday and diagnosed with possible bacteria infection but no medication to ease the symptoms except “drink electrolyte and rest”. Not sure what to say to my boss ?My wife forced me to give a call to Dr Shi who was recommended by a friend. I came in on Tuesday morning and my diagnosis was excessive heat qi 火气in my body. I was prescribed with 3 days of herbal medicine 2 doses per day.Tuesday evening after the 2nd dose I felt 40% recovered already as I was able to walk around by myself and had appetite to eat something. Today - just after 4 doses - I am feeling over 80% recovered and ready to get back to work to tomorrow (luckily just office work no heavy lifting)?As a hard core Google user I was initially super skeptical about this clinic due to lack of reviews. And was surprised to find out that Dr Shi opened his practice here six years ago and most clients have been coming in by word of mouth.If you have been helped by Dr Shi please write something here to help others in need especially when western medicine falls short. Khalid and Access Driving School are incredible! Khalid is incredibly patient and calm. He gives clear instructions during his lessons and explains things that you can do better well. I see some other reviews that are saying that he doesn’t teach parking, this is not true at all. He absolutely teaches parking once you know how to drive well. Parking is a very small part of your exam, knowing the road rules and how to be a good driver comes first! I was able to succeed in learning how to park because Khalid took the time to teach me how to drive properly first. Thank you Khalid and Access Driving School for all your support and patient teaching, I was able to pass my N on the first try. :)
