My fascia massage yesterday was really very different than regular massage or deep tissue massage. It's just a completely different approach and concept. I would describe it more like pressure points, but not for the epicenter of spasms, more for filling the pulse and helping the pulse regulate in different areas of your body. The pressure comes from the weight of your body, primarily, not from lots of pushing and pressing. There is a little bit of pressing and stroking on the areas that need tension worked out, but it's not like a deep tissue massage.
There is not a standard pattern like there is with a regular massage. In a standard massage you have 30 or 60 minutes and there are a given number of minutes for each section of the body worked on.
That's not how this is.
Deleena waits for the body to relax a certain way and let her know when it's ready to move to a different area. There were some times that it was uncomfortable because, what I would have previously assumed was mere inflammation (I would not have associated it with stored trauma or body memories,) was the fascia being tight and taking time to relax and release what was stored there.
The best part was afterwards, when I set up. I felt like the tension was gone, not just subdued, not just on pause or delayed. Rather, I felt that the tension and stress had left my body. Realizing that a significant part of what my body had been holding onto for a long time is gone was very eye-opening.
Deleena says a lot of people notice different things the next day and in subsequent days, so I'm curious to see what I will notice in the next few days.

Jacob and the team did a great job of re-making my front yard with new plants and flowers and mulch. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and hard work. My yard looks great now! They also scalped and aerated and seeded my lawn. I am very happy with all of the work and I would certainly recommend them to everyone.

Bianca has been doing hair for a long time and her experience is evident in the quality of her work. She is so professional and knowledgeable. Her space and tools are always very clean. It's rare that you meet a stylist who can do both beautiful balayages and blondes, as WELL as vivids and more edgy styles. She can seriously do it all. Her hair aftercare instructions are also very clear and I have never had hair color last as long as it does from Bianca. She's also really great at conversation, which is nice because I'm not always able to come up with things to talk about but we've never had an awkward moment. I don't see myself ever going anywhere else.

Kat is a vibe. She’s been in the business a while and does great work. I’m very particular about who does my hair, but she fits the bill. I even recommended my daughter come to her and she likes her work, too. Kat makes suggestions on what your hair needs, but is not pushy. I’ve had crochet braids, box braids, silk presses, hair color, and most recently, a Brazilian blow-out. If you communicate what you’d like, she is accommodating. If additional services are requested on-site which differ from what you booked on-line, the price will change, but that’s the same with any business. I highly recommend.

Throughout the haircut, he checked in with me about different options and made sure I was happy with everything before moving forward. My wife came here and wouldn't stop telling me how good of an experience she had. She has been trying to find a good tanning spot around the Denton area, and now I think the search is finally over. She kept on talking about this one girl, Desiree, who was so sweet and helpful to her. She explained all the packages and what they came with. She even offered my wife a discount for signing up for a membership, which shows me this business prioritizes customers over profits, which is hard to find in today's economy. I would highly recommend going here after what my wife told me. I might even get a membership for myself and speak with Desiree. I will definitely be back with her.

Even though I have zero interest in tanning, I love coming here for the red light therapy, massage bed, steam sauna cocoon and the massage chairs you can sit in if your service is occupied. I drop my kids off at school nearby and stop in on the way home. Very reasonable monthly fee as well.

Small place, I've never seen more than three people working there, BUT, I have never had to wait for more than a few minutes and everything is always well done. My daughter gets her nails done there often. I'm always happy to pay what they charge and tip the friendly staff.
UPDATE 07/26/24 : I still continue to visit Deluxe Nail Salon. Unfortunately Maggie is no longer available at this time, but I'm happy to say I've lucked up with a new employee Chanel! She's great and knows what she's doing and is now my go to.

I loved this place in the past. Really great 1 hour deep tissue massage. Today I went and this guy was just ok. For $70 + tip I expect to feel amazing when I leave. Wish I had the guys name I had gone to the other times. Or if they had cards out with their names on it.

Our 31-year-old doublewide needed a new breaker box. Jerry Owens Electric was not only local but he bid a very reasonable price. I told Jerry I was very flexible on scheduling since I'm retired. My flexibility was put to the test.On the morning of service, Shane (15 years electrician) and Levi (7 years electrician) knocked it out in four hours. (And that included fixing a couple of minor problems, at no extra charge.) They were great (i.e. they put up with all my questioning).One star was removed for not contacting me that they were ready to install my new box until they were parked outside my gate. Fortunately, I was home and available.Great work! I will be using them again to wire my barn. Highly recommended by me.

I had priced out 3 different places in the Denton area after I moved here and O'Bryan's was the middle of the road. I had roughly measured my house but had tried to overshoot on sq ft so that pricing wouldn't surprise me. The owner was in contact with me and had let me know that he could come pretty quickly and would handle the work himself.
The owner is a REALLY nice guy, a fair worker, and he did a wonderful job with my house. There was a little confusion on the price we'd agreed on because he was juggling a lot of jobs at the time but he was super communicative and we worked through it and ended on the price we'd talked about.
My house looked wonderful afterwards! I was so grateful for his time, effort, and honest business ethics! I will continue using him in the future and will only sing his praises to others!
Arrived today about 2:30. Did an outstanding job and charged a fair price. Finished by 4:00.

Bryan and Leigh Ann, the owners are the best! I have used their service for over 20 years and they have always been dependable, cost is reasonable and quality is great! Not only do they take care of your carpets but try them for your air ducts and dryer vent cleanings. Give them a call, you will not regret it!

If you want a high pressure sales pitch, go to a car dealership. You will not find that type of treatment with this company. Jose was very professional and understood our needs. He listened and gave very professional advise on our flooring project. Not only did he visit our home which was 40 miles away from his business location to bring samples he came back three times to check up on the job that was being done. With such professionalism on his part and the construction crew, we’ve decided to expand our project with him and remodel our kitchen. Forget the Big Box stores, Jose will make it competitive on all his bids. Thanks Jose, our home turned out beautiful!
The Design House is absolutely wonderful to work with! Most recently, we hired them to do full turn-key remodel of our warehouse restrooms. They have also done all the tile installation in our showroom, as well as porcelain panel walls in our showroom restrooms and in my office. Ashley Haas and the installation team took great care of us and kept us informed of the timeline and upcoming installations for all the different trades. It was so nice not having to chase down the different trades myself. They took care of all the GC work, making my life SO MUCH EASIER! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! The work turned out amazing. I can't say enough about the great experience I had. I called him to do some drywall work, baseboards, and some plumbing fixes. Brian came out, (on time by the way), did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. There wasn't the usual bait and switch to drive up prices as the jobs progressed. The work completed was professional and completed fairly quickly. The thing that really sold me was his integrity and pride in his work. He made sure I was 100% satisfied and when he left, there wasn't any of the usual buyers remorse associated with the random "handy scam". I will definitely be using again and referring to anyone I know looking for work to be done. what a great experience through and through. I highly recommend! The entire office staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming. The front desk team made us feel comfortable right away. One of the receptionists even stayed with me and helped me while the procedure was being explained to my daughter, which I truly appreciated as a mother.

I went in for a bunch of work yesterday, 3 extractions, a root canal and fillings, i was incredibly nervous as this was only my second time going to a dentist and having any work done in my whole life, i have to say DR Cobb and the assistant Sarissa (syrissa?) were absolutely incredible. There were lots of difficulties due to the state of decay on some of my molars but they handled it very swiftly and professionally. Now instead of being nervous about my next appointment I’m excited to get my mouths health back on track. For the first time in many years i have hope. That means more than i can say, i can't recommend them enough!

I absolutely adore Dr. Crystal Hankel. She is kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and genuinely listens. I have been going to her for years and she has helped me to maintain my body and overcome multiple injuries. I have worked through tennis elbow, painful knees, plantar fasciitis and ankle sprains. She offers dry needling, cupping, soft tissue manipulation and Piezowave technology, just to name a few. I visit regularly (every 4-6 weeks) for adjustments to help regulate my digestive system and loosen up tensed muscles from repetitive motion injuries caused by my work. The team she has gathered are all very kind and knowledgeable as well, and as a female business owner myself, I love being able to support a local, female-owned business. If you are hesitant to try out chiropractic, this is the best place to start. Everyone will make you feel welcome and will effectively help you become a better version of yourself. I had one of the worst spasms of my life, I couldn’t even swallow without excruciating pain. I told myself I would go ahead and see if the chiropractor could help before I sought emergency care. I honestly didn’t have a ton of faith because I knew I couldn’t get any kind of manual adjustment, and didn’t know what he could possibly do to help me. He worked his magic and my pain was down from a 8/10 to about 6/10 the next day. It progressively got better after that. I’m now a firm believer in chiropractic care. My chiropractor Dr Hazel is so AMAZING! He’s super friendly, can make you laugh and can make anyone nervous, not nervous when getting adjusted! Honestly, everyone that works in the front is super helpful and intentional with making you feel welcomed! It’s a great place to get adjusted because even when Dr. Hazel can’t be there, the other chiropractic adjusters are just as amazing!

I cannot recommend Dr. Chandler Pruitt and the entire staff enough. When I called, I was in so much pain that I was in tears, and they fit me in immediately. Dr. Pruitt didn't create issues from my x-rays to get me to spend more money; he was honest and told me my stiff neck was a relatively easy fix. He was kind, understanding, and best of all, he got me out of pain. Within less than 24 hours, the range of motion in my neck is almost back to normal. I'm kicking myself for dealing with the pain so long before making an appointment.

For over 3 years, I suffered from severe shoulder pain..the kind that keeps you up at night and drains you day after day. I lost countless hours of sleep and spent thousands of dollars trying to find relief: massages, years of Airrosti, physical therapy, visits to another chiropractor, an MRI, and multiple orthopedic consultations… and still, no answers.
Within minutes of seeing Dr. Bell, he told me something no one else had.. it wasn’t my shoulder, it was my neck. That insight alone was incredible. Over the course of about 6 weeks, he made targeted adjustments, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. My pain is completely gone.

I’ve had a great experience at the Denton chiropractic center. I’ve been seeing Dr. Mellisa Noell she is very nice, and explains everything very well. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing or wanting to see a chiropractor. I love the receptionist staff, they are always so kind, flexible and understanding. The therapy staff is also always so kind, and helpful. It’s been a great experience, and the back pain, neck pain, and knee pain I’ve struggled with have all improved a lot since I started going.
Hands down the best chiropractor in Denton County. He listens to each patient and does what is best for them. For instance, I hate getting my neck popped during the whole adjustment. I was very tense. He saw that and came up with a solution where he would adjust my neck first so that way I could actually relax through the rest of the adjustment. He listens, he’s very knowledgeable, and I trust him 100%. That’s why I sent all my friends and family to him.
My cat has been going here for a couple years after they were able to get her in due to an emergency. Recently, Milo (my cat) has been seen by Dr. Herrod who has been amazing in figuring things out for her. She was able to see Milo prior to a procedure to rule out an infection and has given many recommendations to help her. I am really grateful for this as my cat is my little baby and having someone care for her and not make it seem like it's about a cash-grab is relieving.
Dr. Phi is great. She always answers my one million questions and will go into detail if I tell her I don't fully understand. The front desk are all so very kind.

Ive been going to Dr Mark Moynaugh since 1998 when he sat at night with my Akita,Mishu, that had been hit by a car. The car drove away but the pick up that was behind pick her up and saw Westgate Vet on her tag and Dr Moynaugh sat with her until I returned from a football game and got the message of the accident. He had my heart right then. He has seen me through 6 more dogs ( 3 currently) and I couldn’t have picked a more knowledgable caring Vet than Dr Mark Moynaugh.
Dr Wallace and her staff are incredibly kind and try their hardest to work with your financial situation, especially when you are trying to help stray animals. I have a stray kitten that was dumped on my property with a bad respiratory infection. Ever since October 2022, they have been working with me trying to get him better so he can be adopted out, but it looks like he will forever be a special needs kitty. The staff there has been so kind with financially working with me and getting me free samples to try and get this stray kitty better. Recently I needed to get 3 of my dogs their annual vaccinations, and the staff let me know about the low cost vaccine clinic they were doing the next week. It saved me a bunch of money, and they could have made a lot more money off me if they didn't! Dr Wallace will also take all the time needed to fully answer all your questions, which is pretty rare. In my experience at other practices, usually the vet is is and out of the exam room as fast as possible! It is obvious she and her staff genuinely care about your pets health. They are also aways able to fit my pets in their schedule, usually the next day. The two times I've needed to see them urgently, I was seen that same day. The only downside is that since they are quite popular and they take their time with each patient, their schedule can get pretty backed up. Be prepared to wait in your car for maybe 30 minutes before you get seen. This is a small price to pay for their great level of care imo and I will always take my pets to this clinic!

Cody Bullock is the most compassionate vet I have ever had in my life. I feel so fortunate to have found him and his staff. His staff goes out of their way to help us as we are elderly and have trouble maneuvering two cats at once.

HONESTY: Like no other. I had one vet tell me my dog needed surgery within 2 weeks to remove a mole. Called South Denton and they told me to wait a few weeks, and the bump went down on its own...
I took my dog here while in college. I moved to Plano and it seems I cannot trust any other vet. I still make the drive to Denton to take my girl here.
My little girl Sheba was sick, coughing and wheezing it ended up being a heart murmur. Not knowing of her condition because she reallly didnt show any signs other thancought and sneezing. So, being iced and snowed in, I had to wait to take her to the hospital. The staff was honest about her condition and my options. I'm glad I left and took my baby home for her last moments. My grandson and I got to say goodbye, as she passed in my arms. I would not want it any other way. I'm very sad, but she isn't in pain
any longer, although she didn't show it.
Google why does your dog get heart murmurs. Keep an eye on your baby and don't forget to give them their meds, which I did, but it helps, they say. These photos are just recent.

Virginia at Touch of Tranquility in Denton is by far THE BEST MASSAGE THERAPIST out there. She goes above and beyond to make your experience relaxing and enjoyable. She listens to her clients and tailors your massage. I have been going to Virginia since she opened, and would not go anywhere else.
This is now probably my favorite massage place in the area. Reasonably priced compared to other places and they do a really good lomi lomi massage that works out a lot of the constant stress I have around by back. They also massage your feet during a full body massage which is becoming more difficult to find for some reason.
Every Stretch Lab Studio, varies by the little things. This Stretch Lab has some of the best Technicians around. I have had nothing but sucess from them in my health journey. So I dont make any of the techs mad! They all go above and beyond for the client. Lastly the front desk lady, Naomi! is easy to work with and super helpful in scheduling and reminders!

As always I cannot speak highly enough of Brandy I trust her on a regular basis to deal with chronic problems with my shoulder/neck as well as all of my family as needed. She not only listens to what I say she pays attention to what my body is telling her and adjusts each time. No short cut cookie cutter massages, she truly cares about what she is doing.
Angie is either the best massage therapist in Denton or one of the best. She tailors her massage to the medical issues I've had with my back, and she's done a great deal for me to relieve pain and work out tension, both of which increase my quality of life beyond the massage itself. I've tried a number of therapists and have found her to be one of the most skilled out there. Her studio is also very inviting and relaxing in its atmosphere, and invites a mental break from outside worries that enhances the experience.

This is a very high quality PT center. They carefully diagnose your issue and build a treatment plan, and put the home therapies in their app for you. Treatment specialist Anna Crisp probably knows more about pelvic floor issues and how to treat them than any physician. Highly recommend.
