Both Angie and Laurel are absolute goddesses. They are amazing at their craft, very thorough with their massages. I don’t get massages as often as I would like to, and I usually wait to go in until I am in so much pain. Every time I leave feeling like a whole new person. My most recent experience, I woke up with either a pinched nerve or crick in my neck and tried to baby it for a few days and shake it off. I couldn’t move my head up/down/side to side. I couldn’t lift my shoulder or move my arm. My upper body is SO significant to my work so it was a huge issue for me. My pain was easy a 6-7. Angie is incredible! She is an excellent listener and really has a unique gift for finding and working out every knot and bit of tension. I felt like I had completely new shoulders after my visit. If you are looking for a real deal deep tissue massage- go see angie- though i’m sure she’s just as wonderful for more gentle massages if that’s what you are looking for. I love how she offers targeted massages and really focuses on your problem areas. I usually find myself mentally back seat driving during a massage wishing they would do it a bit differently, but not this time- she found all the tense areas. Best massage in denton and probably anywhere.
I noticed some discomfort Fri from a pinched nerve. By Sunday night I was in agony and got no sleep. Mon I called a chiropractor and made appointment for same day. Treatment was more like a torture session. Was walking a bit better by time I left, but felt the pain and stiffness return within a hour. Called Angie for appointment next day, but had to suffer another night of no sleep until I could see her. Massage was SO much gentler and felt immediate relief. Still felt 90% better by next morning. Going forward I'm going to skip the chiropractor torture and go straight to Angie. She is a great masseuse and is incredibly sweet and empathetic.
