Had to come on from out of town to deal with my 98 year old father whose wife was in the hospital- then nursing home. Needing someone to watch over him while I shopped/ set up appointments/arranged and researched things. Called Visiting Angels. They came out same day for a meet and greet at the house. Set me up immediately. Have had constant support and help. Then his wife came home in a hospital bed needing changing/bathing. They helped me set up a program that has helped me every step of the way. I can’t even express my gratitude for their support. Some services may be more economical but for the support; dedicated care; and reliability it is worth it. I am so blessed to have their care.

I've been going to them for years. They've always taken great care of me & my wound everytime there's an issue, they get it to heal & I don't see them for awhile. But when I have to go back they are always professional, thorough and caring. They aren't all stuffy and boring it's a good atmosphere.

Mark is an absolutely wonderful massage therapist and a great guy in general. He's so positive, friendly, professional, and his work is truly excellent! He really listens to your concerns and then uses a variety of techniques to thoroughly and effectively address your aches and pains. The attention he gives to each treatment and the quality of his touch really communicates how much he cares about his clients and his work. I can't recommend him highly enough!

There are massage therapists who are educated and skilled, and then there are those few that I would classify as gifted. Kristi Manwaring of Massage and Bodywork by Kristi is definitely the latter. We'll versed in multiple modalities, she always has an innate knack to find those particular areas that need attention, and then provides just the right treatment to those areas. For me, a low back injury and subsequent surgery left me with chronic low back, hip and sometimes leg pain. Her combination of massage and targeted stretching always brings me significant and lasting relief, for which I am grateful. In addition to all this, Kristi is just a delightful person, and the experience with her is second to none, and I plan on continuing as a regular with her for many years to come.

I was all set with an appointment for hearing aids from Costco when I got a feeling I should go to Dr. Weeks. Am I happy I did. He has helped me many occasions with the use of them, the replacement of lost ones, cleaning the wax out of them, etc. No charge. The warranties have come through. The replacement for lost hearing aids was very low. It has been a great experience and I love my hearing aids. It has saved me money and I love saving money.
I went in for a massage to help loosen up because I suffer from migraines, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jennifer was very nice, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable for my first massage. She really listened to my needs and focused on the areas that needed the most attention. I could feel her releasing a lot of built-up tension and tightness in my neck and shoulders, which gave me much needed relief. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring therapist.

They cut hair uneven, and they cut the hair in the middle shorter than anything else so it just gets more uneven and uneven you have the bangs and then going back on the sides is really really short then it gets worse and worse I highly just don’t recommend going there also she rushed to get it done

She actually was able to straighten my hair with a curling iron better than anybody ever has with a flat iron my hair looks amazing healthy and with body. I took the advice of my friend and made an appointment at New Image Salon for a nail fill. I by chance got Heidi as my manicurist. I’m not gonna lie, the appointment took quite a while( hence the 4 stars) but I was patient hoping that the results would be amazing. And they were! Heidi is professional and knows what she’s doing. I love this place! I see Malyn for my hair cuts and color and she nails it every time. Actually, to be totally honest, in my 33 years its the best hair cuts that I've ever consistently gotten. The vibe is really casual/relaxed/friendly, while still being clean and of high quality. They have a nail lady who does really cute designs (I haven't had her services yet but I plan to)! I'm from a big city and have been to all sorts of salons that feel overly boogie, expensive, and impersonal. This place feels like your mama's salon and its awesome.
Sunni is the best! She is truly a master artist with microblading. When 90% of my eyebrows fell out, I went to see her for a consultation. She spent so much time telling me everything I needed to know about the process. I got detailed instructions, pictures on how the healing process worked. I was so worried that it would be painful, she made sure I had NO PAIN!!! I have finished all my two appointments, my brows look amazing!!!

I absolutely love this salon! Alisha is amazing and knows how to work her magic, especially in a real hair emergency! She has come through for me more times than I can say even when she has been completely booked up. She does awesome work and her prices are more than fair. I have had a few bad experiences with a few other local salons over the years, and I am happy that I finally found someone who knows what they are doing and actually cares about her clients.

Best kept secret in the Carson Valley! Melissa has been coloring and cutting my hair for 3 years. I was referred to her by another salon who didn't have availability. I'm used to driving to Truckee and paying for high end salons. I needed to find someone closer but it was one disaster after the next. Well I hit the jack pot when I found this place! The salon wasn't near as fancy but the service has always been as good as it gets. Melissa used to work at a high end salon in Union Square in SF. She was trained by the best. Prices very reasonable too!

I went to the Brow Bar today and unfortunately my eyebrow technician was 15 minutes late to the appointment because another client had run late. While I would have appreciated a call letting me know in advance that the appointment would be later than expected, the employees were all very kind and Taylor did an amazing job with my eyebrows and my sister's. The wax she used was also gentle and painless, and she helped us sample Benefit skincare products as well. Also, she was so quick that we weren't even late for the obligation we had afterwards--despite the late start to the appointment. Will be going back!

I came in with just an idea and bastion was able to curate a perfect tattoo with all of my ideas and likes. The environment of the shop was clean and very welcoming. All of the artist there were very talented and willing to work with you. Overall it was an amazing experience…and my tattoo turned out to be my favorite piece on my body thus far. We went for a very realistic gothic style and fortunately for me that was my artists specialty. Not only do I rate my artist bastion 1000/10 but also rate the shop the same. Love Joe. He recently stretched and cleaned my carpets. He was fast, efficient, reasonably priced and professional. He even came while I was still in escrow to give me an estimate and assessment as to whether I should keep the carpet. He said the carpet was incredible quality and in great shape and to absolutely keep it. So I saved a ton of money by having it stretched instead of replaced. After he finished, I was blown away as it looks like brand new carpet. I didn't even know you could have carpet stretched, I do now. Absolutely would recommend Floor Masters.

It's been over 10 years since my heating ducts have been cleaned. Custom Floor Care did a great job! They were in and out, no fuss, no muss while I was still able to work from home and my kids distance learned. So glad we can noticeably breathe easier now that they are professionally cleaned.

Put in a new granite counter. Astounding job! Backsplash MATCHES the counter pattern and there are NO SEAMS even though it is U shaped with a sink cutout. Waited months for cabinets, no problem, they held the granite and were out the day the cabinets were in, measuring and few days later a perfect install. Recommended highly.
Construction projects in Lake Tahoe are not the easiest for many reasons, but DG Hand turned out to be an excellent contractor for me and my project. I added a bathroom and refreshed 3 other bathrooms as well as updated other aspects of the house. DG Hand always worked with me to achieve my goals and delivered what they said they would do from the beginning. Zach, Jay and Mike were excellent. I’d work again with them in a second.
Our home build experience with Ipsen Construction was beyond our expectations, tenfold. Ryan is very professional; with his help & designer eye we were able to get our long list of wishes met in a very reasonable amount of time! While building a home has its price tag, Ryan was able to find us exactly what we wanted in the price that stayed under our budget. We will definitely be using Ipsen Construction again!

The Healthy Tree guys are the best, very careful, and are in and out in good order.
This company is the real deal. A team of professional tree guardians and they have the finest equipment. They arrived on time, completed all trimming carefully and safely. No broken limbs or half-cut branches. Their men were capable and strong a performed with great agility. The pine tree they removed towered over our house by approximately 50 feet-but no problem-a crane arrived and they separated the tree in several pieces and air lifted it up over the house and right into the shredder. And the tree-trunk was shredded below the ground. All of the neighbors came me out to see their fine work. And, in the end, every branch and all debris was removed. We are so very grateful we chose his company. They were awesome!

Dr. Klein is truly one of a kind! I had a chipped tooth and he fixed it perfectly, you can’t even tell it was ever chipped. I also went in for a cleaning, and while every other office tried to push me into an unnecessary (and very expensive) root scaling, Dr. Klein took the time to do a regular cleaning himself. It was the first time I’ve ever had a dentist not a hygienist or assistant personally clean my teeth, and the difference was amazing. He is so thorough, gentle, and detail-oriented, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his patients’ health and comfort.
Most dentists make you feel like just another number, but Dr. Klein makes you feel like family. He takes pride in his work and it shows in the results. My teeth have never felt this clean, and I left the office smiling bigger than ever. I’m so thankful I found him and will never go anywhere else!
"Dr Drew" is the best dentist I've been to in Carson City. His staff are always attentive, his dental hygienist Traci rocks. I highly recommend this practice.
All of my interactions with Doc Graber have been positive. During my Dental procedures it is readily apparent that he thoroughly enjoys being a Dentist. He has helped me with immediate needs and preventative care. The support staff in the office are also a pleasure to deal with, you can’t go no better!
I first went to see Dr Park for an infected tooth that needed to be extracted. I was so nervous as going to the dentist was always a fear of mine. Even tho I was a pain through that first extraction, Dr Park worked with me the whole way! I can’t say enough good things about this place. I ended up establishing & my anxiety of going has significantly gone down thanks to Dr Park & her team!
Dr. Emm is awesome, and keeps me in alignment so I can go knock it out again.

Dr Ediss has been my chiropractor for years, he listens and takes the time to get to know his clients. I experienced a certain pain, went to my primary where they did test after test and couldn’t figure it out, next trip was to Dr Ediss and before I left his office the pain was gone!
My family and I have been patients of Dr. John Ediss for years now. Dr. John is very thorough, he listens to us and cares deeply for his patients. He has helped me personally with numerous issues (neck injuries, upper back tension, lower back, etc). He's helped my son with his injured shoulder and helped improve my daughter's posture. His methods are superb and I highly recommend anyone with spine (haha) to visit Carson Tahoe Chiropractic today, you won't regret it!

Once again, I am back to see one of my favorite doctors, Dr. Alan Tack. I have been a patient of Dr. Tack since moving to Northern Nevada. I had difficulty finding a dermatologist specializing in Mohs Surgery that would take my health insurance. My insurance company was the one that referred me to Dr. Tack. I wasn't expecting an insurance company's referral to be spot on. I couldn't be happier with the care given to me by Dr. Tack. Not only does he take his time explaining any concerns/procedures, but his surgical skills are impeccable. I have had 3 procedures done by him. The first two had little scarring, the third was just done yesterday. I'm confident the last procedure's scarring will be minimal based on past procedures. I encourage all family and friends to see a dermatologist annually and if you live in the Carson City/Reno/Tahoe/Sparks area make an appointment at Carson Dermatology/Dr. Tack.
Dr. Rowe and his nurse Lynn are the absolute best at what they do. He doesn’t give up and will continue working until he gets all of the cancer out when he does your MOH surgery. He listens and is wonderful and once you heal you can’t see the scars. They are a great team and I will only go to Dr. Rowe when it comes to the MOH procedure. A+ always!
I like this office. They are caring and will take the time to fix any ailments you have been dealing with. I highly recommend this Dermatology office to everyone!
Our experience was really great. Penny definitely has nervousness around vets and men, and Dr Pulver was fantastic with her. I really appreciated the time and effort spent with my nervous little punk. I have great confidence having Timberline as our lifelong vet because of this experience.
**Update** we are in year 2 of my very worried dog visiting Timberline for her check ups and everyone is so kind and considerate with Penny and her Big Worries. They have found a way for us to get her in the door and able to have her check ups and I am so grateful for their care!
I've been talking my pets here for years and I have no complaints. Dr. Haebler and his wife are very thorough and genuinely care. They are reasonably priced I believe.
This place is awesome and they take care of all my 5 cats very well! Cameron is very helpful and deals with my feral Georgia like a champ! You guys are the best!

Hailey is an incredibly talented groomer. My dogs don't have to stay all day. Once they are done, I'm contacted to pick them up. It's a positive experience, for all of us.
We had a fantastic experience at Wizard of Paws! Kristina did an amazing job grooming our 65lb golden retriever/airedale mix, Lemon. Not only did Lemon look wonderful after her appointment, but she was happy as a clam — which says a lot!
Lemon has both food and environmental allergies, so grooming can be a bit of a gamble for us. Kristina was incredibly detail-oriented and attentive, and we’re thrilled to report that Lemon had no signs of an allergy flare-up or any irritation afterward. It’s clear that Kristina really knows what she’s doing and takes pride in her work.
We couldn’t be happier with the results — Lemon looks and feels great. Thank you, Wizard of Paws! We’ll definitely be back.

There are massage therapists who are educated and skilled, and then there are those few that I would classify as gifted. Kristi Manwaring of Massage and Bodywork by Kristi is definitely the latter. We'll versed in multiple modalities, she always has an innate knack to find those particular areas that need attention, and then provides just the right treatment to those areas. For me, a low back injury and subsequent surgery left me with chronic low back, hip and sometimes leg pain. Her combination of massage and targeted stretching always brings me significant and lasting relief, for which I am grateful. In addition to all this, Kristi is just a delightful person, and the experience with her is second to none, and I plan on continuing as a regular with her for many years to come.
Mark is an absolutely wonderful massage therapist and a great guy in general. He's so positive, friendly, professional, and his work is truly excellent! He really listens to your concerns and then uses a variety of techniques to thoroughly and effectively address your aches and pains. The attention he gives to each treatment and the quality of his touch really communicates how much he cares about his clients and his work. I can't recommend him highly enough!

I went in for a massage to help loosen up because I suffer from migraines, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jennifer was very nice, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable for my first massage. She really listened to my needs and focused on the areas that needed the most attention. I could feel her releasing a lot of built-up tension and tightness in my neck and shoulders, which gave me much needed relief. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring therapist.

This school has been the reason for my success in my career as a Licensed Massage Therapist over the last ten years. There is a LACK of massage therapy schools that adequately teach proper massage techniques or even go beyond the basics. I have worked with many other professionals and it’s very obvious through their work and professionalism. John and Lee have created a school that changed my life for the better. They truly are the best! Thank you for a wonderful education and environment.
The hot spring facility itself is actually quite nice, and the overall environment and cleanliness meet expectations. It could have been a really relaxing experience.
However, the staff’s attitude was disappointing and noticeably unfriendly, which negatively affected the overall impression. Good service really matters, especially in a place meant for relaxation.
Also, while there are lockers available in the changing room, you need to bring your own lock, which was inconvenient and not clearly communicated in advance.
Overall, the facility has potential, but the service and small details need improvement.
