Had to come on from out of town to deal with my 98 year old father whose wife was in the hospital- then nursing home. Needing someone to watch over him while I shopped/ set up appointments/arranged and researched things. Called Visiting Angels. They came out same day for a meet and greet at the house. Set me up immediately. Have had constant support and help. Then his wife came home in a hospital bed needing changing/bathing. They helped me set up a program that has helped me every step of the way. I can’t even express my gratitude for their support. Some services may be more economical but for the support; dedicated care; and reliability it is worth it. I am so blessed to have their care.
This review is long over due...I brought my family SUV to Harrison 3/4 of the way through this winter ski season. Harrison did an amazing job!! The car looked incredible inside and out. Nothing was missed. I felt like I was driving a new car. I would definitely recommend Carson Auto Spa to anyone who needed a car detail.
Cristal is positively amazing!!! If you're looking to relax AND receive a therapeutic massage, then look no farther!! She's definitely one of the best in our area. I've been going to them for years. They've always taken great care of me & my wound everytime there's an issue, they get it to heal & I don't see them for awhile. But when I have to go back they are always professional, thorough and caring. They aren't all stuffy and boring it's a good atmosphere.
I had such a wonderful experience at Spa 108. Sarah customized my facial perfectly, and the Elizabeth provided a head spa treatment that was so soothing. The Exopod is definitely going to be a regular part of my visits. I’m truly happy with my membership and all the services it offers. I recommend this spa to anyone looking for top tier services. Mark is an absolutely wonderful massage therapist and a great guy in general. He's so positive, friendly, professional, and his work is truly excellent! He really listens to your concerns and then uses a variety of techniques to thoroughly and effectively address your aches and pains. The attention he gives to each treatment and the quality of his touch really communicates how much he cares about his clients and his work. I can't recommend him highly enough!
I would give Rayne 10 stars if it would let me! I just got my most favorite cut and color that I’ve ever had on my hair. It was fast and easy, and very fairly priced. I would recommend everyone to go see her!

There are massage therapists who are educated and skilled, and then there are those few that I would classify as gifted. Kristi Manwaring of Massage and Bodywork by Kristi is definitely the latter. We'll versed in multiple modalities, she always has an innate knack to find those particular areas that need attention, and then provides just the right treatment to those areas. For me, a low back injury and subsequent surgery left me with chronic low back, hip and sometimes leg pain. Her combination of massage and targeted stretching always brings me significant and lasting relief, for which I am grateful. In addition to all this, Kristi is just a delightful person, and the experience with her is second to none, and I plan on continuing as a regular with her for many years to come.

I was all set with an appointment for hearing aids from Costco when I got a feeling I should go to Dr. Weeks. Am I happy I did. He has helped me many occasions with the use of them, the replacement of lost ones, cleaning the wax out of them, etc. No charge. The warranties have come through. The replacement for lost hearing aids was very low. It has been a great experience and I love my hearing aids. It has saved me money and I love saving money.
I went in for a massage to help loosen up because I suffer from migraines, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jennifer was very nice, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable for my first massage. She really listened to my needs and focused on the areas that needed the most attention. I could feel her releasing a lot of built-up tension and tightness in my neck and shoulders, which gave me much needed relief. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring therapist.

Scared to have my hair cut, as the last few times have left me in the care of women who'd chop off 10 inches (over a foot at one point) of my hair, instead of the trim or 4 inches i'd ask for. This was such a positive experience for me that i booked an appointment for my daughter as well! I got the simple long layers i asked for since i didnt want the length gone, but i needed more volume & was tired of long flat hair that i could only throw in a bun or a clip. I needed something different but not drastic & i my needs were met! I appreciate being seen by someone who didnt try to take my hair from just above my waist to my shoulder blades again & was patient w/ my nervousness. Finding ppl who actually know what they're doing is a big deal. Im SO glad i came in!

I'm visiting my mom from out of town Huntington Beach and Robin was awesome she gave me a blowout. She actually was able to straighten my hair with a curling iron better than anybody ever has with a flat iron my hair looks amazing healthy and with body. East 50 barber shop is the number 1 place to get your haircut. Its got a cool laid back vibe, like an old school barber shop. I could go in there and just hang out for hours. The barbers that work there are professional and efficient, they treat you like one of the boys. Jason Maddox has been cutting my hair for over a year now. East 50 barber shop is the only place I trust to give me a fresh fade and beard lineup. Jason is my go to guy to keep me looking fresh.

I took the advice of my friend and made an appointment at New Image Salon for a nail fill. I by chance got Heidi as my manicurist. I’m not gonna lie, the appointment took quite a while( hence the 4 stars) but I was patient hoping that the results would be amazing. And they were! Heidi is professional and knows what she’s doing. I love this place! I see Malyn for my hair cuts and color and she nails it every time. Actually, to be totally honest, in my 33 years its the best hair cuts that I've ever consistently gotten. The vibe is really casual/relaxed/friendly, while still being clean and of high quality. They have a nail lady who does really cute designs (I haven't had her services yet but I plan to)! I'm from a big city and have been to all sorts of salons that feel overly boogie, expensive, and impersonal. This place feels like your mama's salon and its awesome.
Sunni is the best! She is truly a master artist with microblading. When 90% of my eyebrows fell out, I went to see her for a consultation. She spent so much time telling me everything I needed to know about the process. I got detailed instructions, pictures on how the healing process worked. I was so worried that it would be painful, she made sure I had NO PAIN!!! I have finished all my two appointments, my brows look amazing!!!

Best kept secret in the Carson Valley! Melissa has been coloring and cutting my hair for 3 years. I was referred to her by another salon who didn't have availability. I'm used to driving to Truckee and paying for high end salons. I needed to find someone closer but it was one disaster after the next. Well I hit the jack pot when I found this place! The salon wasn't near as fancy but the service has always been as good as it gets. Melissa used to work at a high end salon in Union Square in SF. She was trained by the best. Prices very reasonable too!

I went to the Brow Bar today and unfortunately my eyebrow technician was 15 minutes late to the appointment because another client had run late. While I would have appreciated a call letting me know in advance that the appointment would be later than expected, the employees were all very kind and Taylor did an amazing job with my eyebrows and my sister's. The wax she used was also gentle and painless, and she helped us sample Benefit skincare products as well. Also, she was so quick that we weren't even late for the obligation we had afterwards--despite the late start to the appointment. Will be going back!

I came in with just an idea and bastion was able to curate a perfect tattoo with all of my ideas and likes. The environment of the shop was clean and very welcoming. All of the artist there were very talented and willing to work with you. Overall it was an amazing experience…and my tattoo turned out to be my favorite piece on my body thus far. We went for a very realistic gothic style and fortunately for me that was my artists specialty. Not only do I rate my artist bastion 1000/10 but also rate the shop the same. Stephen was a technician at the business and now owns it. He worked for a solid five hours doing my two 7 ft. couches, my carpet, and grout cleaning in the master bath. The job was excellent, except the grout on the floor and in the shower were darker than I expected and I informed Stephen. Without hesitation, he returned and spent two hrs., explaining that he stands behind his products/business. He is an incredibly hard worker and true to his word.
It's been over 10 years since my heating ducts have been cleaned. Custom Floor Care did a great job! They were in and out, no fuss, no muss while I was still able to work from home and my kids distance learned. So glad we can noticeably breathe easier now that they are professionally cleaned.

Put in a new granite counter. Astounding job! Backsplash MATCHES the counter pattern and there are NO SEAMS even though it is U shaped with a sink cutout. Waited months for cabinets, no problem, they held the granite and were out the day the cabinets were in, measuring and few days later a perfect install. Recommended highly.
Construction projects in Lake Tahoe are not the easiest for many reasons, but DG Hand turned out to be an excellent contractor for me and my project. I added a bathroom and refreshed 3 other bathrooms as well as updated other aspects of the house. DG Hand always worked with me to achieve my goals and delivered what they said they would do from the beginning. Zach, Jay and Mike were excellent. I’d work again with them in a second.

I first went to see Dr Park for an infected tooth that needed to be extracted. I was so nervous as going to the dentist was always a fear of mine. Even tho I was a pain through that first extraction, Dr Park worked with me the whole way! I can’t say enough good things about this place. I ended up establishing & my anxiety of going has significantly gone down thanks to Dr Park & her team!

Dr. Klein is truly one of a kind! I had a chipped tooth and he fixed it perfectly, you can’t even tell it was ever chipped. I also went in for a cleaning, and while every other office tried to push me into an unnecessary (and very expensive) root scaling, Dr. Klein took the time to do a regular cleaning himself. It was the first time I’ve ever had a dentist not a hygienist or assistant personally clean my teeth, and the difference was amazing. He is so thorough, gentle, and detail-oriented, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his patients’ health and comfort.
Most dentists make you feel like just another number, but Dr. Klein makes you feel like family. He takes pride in his work and it shows in the results. My teeth have never felt this clean, and I left the office smiling bigger than ever. I’m so thankful I found him and will never go anywhere else!
All of my interactions with Doc Graber have been positive. During my Dental procedures it is readily apparent that he thoroughly enjoys being a Dentist. He has helped me with immediate needs and preventative care. The support staff in the office are also a pleasure to deal with, you can’t go no better!

Dr Nevius is very experienced. I haven’t walked normal in a long time and I walked out of his office in a less pain after my first visit.

Dr Ediss has been my chiropractor for years, he listens and takes the time to get to know his clients. I experienced a certain pain, went to my primary where they did test after test and couldn’t figure it out, next trip was to Dr Ediss and before I left his office the pain was gone!
My family and I have been patients of Dr. John Ediss for years now. Dr. John is very thorough, he listens to us and cares deeply for his patients. He has helped me personally with numerous issues (neck injuries, upper back tension, lower back, etc). He's helped my son with his injured shoulder and helped improve my daughter's posture. Rarely is the name of a business as accurate as this. Dr. Corbett does operate the absolute best chiropractic office I have ever visited.
I’ve seen about 5 over the years, and each them always asked, what’s bothering me. Dr. Corbett got me into the table and began working. He found every issue I had gone in there for without asking me what was troubling me, but did ask when he was done if there was anywhere else that needed attention, though he got it all. I had gone to a massage therapist for my neck, shoulder, and back, and she did wonders, though it was not long lasting relief. I have been seeing Dr. Corbett regularly since the first appointment and none of those initial issues have come back.
I’m very thankful for all he’s done to help me!

Once again, I am back to see one of my favorite doctors, Dr. Alan Tack. I have been a patient of Dr. Tack since moving to Northern Nevada. I had difficulty finding a dermatologist specializing in Mohs Surgery that would take my health insurance. My insurance company was the one that referred me to Dr. Tack. I wasn't expecting an insurance company's referral to be spot on. I couldn't be happier with the care given to me by Dr. Tack. Not only does he take his time explaining any concerns/procedures, but his surgical skills are impeccable. I have had 3 procedures done by him. The first two had little scarring, the third was just done yesterday. I'm confident the last procedure's scarring will be minimal based on past procedures. I encourage all family and friends to see a dermatologist annually and if you live in the Carson City/Reno/Tahoe/Sparks area make an appointment at Carson Dermatology/Dr. Tack.
Dr. Rowe and his nurse Lynn are the absolute best at what they do. He doesn’t give up and will continue working until he gets all of the cancer out when he does your MOH surgery. He listens and is wonderful and once you heal you can’t see the scars. They are a great team and I will only go to Dr. Rowe when it comes to the MOH procedure. A+ always!

Our experience was really great. Penny definitely has nervousness around vets and men, and Dr Pulver was fantastic with her. I really appreciated the time and effort spent with my nervous little punk. I have great confidence having Timberline as our lifelong vet because of this experience.
**Update** we are in year 2 of my very worried dog visiting Timberline for her check ups and everyone is so kind and considerate with Penny and her Big Worries. They have found a way for us to get her in the door and able to have her check ups and I am so grateful for their care!
I've been talking my pets here for years and I have no complaints. Dr. Haebler and his wife are very thorough and genuinely care. They are reasonably priced I believe.
This place is awesome and they take care of all my 5 cats very well! Cameron is very helpful and deals with my feral Georgia like a champ! You guys are the best!

Hailey is an incredibly talented groomer. My dogs don't have to stay all day. Once they are done, I'm contacted to pick them up. It's a positive experience, for all of us.
We had a fantastic experience at Wizard of Paws! Kristina did an amazing job grooming our 65lb golden retriever/airedale mix, Lemon. Not only did Lemon look wonderful after her appointment, but she was happy as a clam — which says a lot!
Lemon has both food and environmental allergies, so grooming can be a bit of a gamble for us. Kristina was incredibly detail-oriented and attentive, and we’re thrilled to report that Lemon had no signs of an allergy flare-up or any irritation afterward. It’s clear that Kristina really knows what she’s doing and takes pride in her work.
We couldn’t be happier with the results — Lemon looks and feels great. Thank you, Wizard of Paws! We’ll definitely be back.
Great Yoga in Carson City ! Bridget taught the Yoga class and explained the poses and purpose of the poses. Great center and they also offer sound bowl healing. Seems like they have a solid strong community as the class was full so be sure to sign up on the website.
I have been doing yoga for many years and have never experienced a class this wonderful. Angela’s attention to the class members and alignment were unmatched.

WOW oh wow!!!! Had my first lymphatic drainage massage with Monica. The massage was amazing!!! The next day my legs felt so much better. My entire body felt and looked better with the decreased swelling. Thanks Monica!

Mark is an absolutely wonderful massage therapist and a great guy in general. He's so positive, friendly, professional, and his work is truly excellent! He really listens to your concerns and then uses a variety of techniques to thoroughly and effectively address your aches and pains. The attention he gives to each treatment and the quality of his touch really communicates how much he cares about his clients and his work. I can't recommend him highly enough!
There are massage therapists who are educated and skilled, and then there are those few that I would classify as gifted. Kristi Manwaring of Massage and Bodywork by Kristi is definitely the latter. We'll versed in multiple modalities, she always has an innate knack to find those particular areas that need attention, and then provides just the right treatment to those areas. For me, a low back injury and subsequent surgery left me with chronic low back, hip and sometimes leg pain. Her combination of massage and targeted stretching always brings me significant and lasting relief, for which I am grateful. In addition to all this, Kristi is just a delightful person, and the experience with her is second to none, and I plan on continuing as a regular with her for many years to come.
I got my lashes done by Sarah Tegerdal and she did amazing! Really listened to what I wanted in eyelash style, They are beautiful and stayed on so long!
I've gone to a few therapists, and most have been relaxing, but they haven't been able to resolve some shoulder problems I've had or my low back pain. Jordan takes the time to get to the root of the issues and I've seen improvement every time I go to her. She adjusts the pressure as you like and really listens to her clients.

I went in for a massage to help loosen up because I suffer from migraines, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jennifer was very nice, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable for my first massage. She really listened to my needs and focused on the areas that needed the most attention. I could feel her releasing a lot of built-up tension and tightness in my neck and shoulders, which gave me much needed relief. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring therapist.
