“I went to the Brow Bar today and unfortunately my eyebrow technician was 15 minutes late to the appointment because another client had run late. While I would have appreciated a call letting me know in advance that the appointment would be later than expected, the employees were all very kind and Taylor did an amazing job with my eyebrows and my sister's. The wax she used was also gentle and painless, and she helped us sample Benefit skincare products as well. “Best kept secret in the Carson Valley! Melissa has been coloring and cutting my hair for 3 years. I was referred to her by another salon who didn't have availability. I'm used to driving to Truckee and paying for high end salons. I needed to find someone closer but it was one disaster after the next. Well I hit the jack pot when I found this place! The salon wasn't near as fancy but the service has always been as good as it gets. Melissa used to work at a high end salon in Union Square in SF. She was trained by the best. Prices very reasonable too!“

“I love this place! I see Malyn for my hair cuts and color and she nails it every time. Actually, to be totally honest, in my 33 years its the best hair cuts that I've ever consistently gotten. The vibe is really casual/relaxed/friendly, while still being clean and of high quality. They have a nail lady who does really cute designs (I haven't had her services yet but I plan to)! I'm from a big city and have been to all sorts of salons that feel overly boogie, expensive, and impersonal. This place feels like your mama's salon and its awesome.“
