“Joining Thesis is one of the best decisions I’ve made to continue my recovery after a car accidenf. I was initially aloof and skeptical of Thesis’ concept; but coming in my first day, folks (shoutout to TJ) made me feel welcome and supported, so it was no brainer that I should sign-up! From their app to the customized meal plans, I have the structure that I’ve been missing to continue being better!It’s also great that Thesis matches you with a coach; and I couldn’t be more thankful that Nate is the coach for me! “I had a awesome time working out with Marvin! Anytime I needed anything he was responsive. He was always willing to make adjustments to a workout or meal plan if I needed it. I love the ability to workout from my phone! I was able to go on vacation and didn't have to miss a workout. “I made the decision to train with Brad when I turned 60 because everything was starting to hurt – my knee when hiking, my shoulder when gardening, my back when just standing for too long. Three months in, I am amazed how much I’ve learned and how much confidence I’ve gained. Brad has an incredible grasp on body mechanics and has shown me how my pain is usually related to imbalances in musculature or flexibility. He has the knowledge and ability to identify underlying issues and craft exercises and stretches that improve my strength and flexibility while protecting the body parts that hurt. “By far the best workout in DC. I’m a Physical Therapist and have tried many workouts in the area, and not one compares to the level of expertise you will get with Katie, Burns \\u0026 Garrett. The programming is top notch - well thought out to not only give you a good workout, but to hit those muscle groups that are commonly ignored in other group workouts. They can easily help you modify if something is too difficult or if you are working through an injury. Big bonus - the community they’ve created is amazing. When I was pregnant with my daughter he continued to train me throughout the whole ordeal. To my knowledge, I was the first pregnant woman he worked with and my doctor was so amazed at my abs at 7 months. He is reasonably priced, attentive to his clients needs, always on time and overall a great trainer. If you’d like to see yourself in a new, strong, defined body, he’s the person to see.“

“I’ve known Doug for over 20 years now, and he’s been my personal trainer for 8 years in the past, when I started working out to lose weight after my pregnancy. I’ve enjoyed working out with Doug so much back then, that even after I’ve accomplished my original goals, I’ve continued my workouts with Doug because I was receiving so much more than I’ve originally hoped for.I’ve had multiple injuries over the last few years, and when I was told that I need to do physical therapy, I turned to Doug again. I could not think of anyone better to help me get back in shape on multiple levels. From my experience with Doug in the past, I knew that he has a lot of experience training people with injuries. I could barely move, and I could not even begin to think of working out, so I knew I had to reach out to Doug again. Doug is patient and incredibly creative when it comes to modifying the exercises. He was able to come up with a workout plan to fit my needs and that was double for me. And then Doug was there for me, supporting and encouraging me to take it one step at a time. After working out with Doug for 6 months, I slowly but surely got back on track in terms of my physical strength and stamina. I do not enjoy working out, but I forget about that when I am training with Doug. He is versatile and keeps me engaged, his repertoire of exercises seems to be endless. Plus, he’s got great sense of humor and a is an easy-going person. He is highly professional, punctual and respectful. Doug is my #1 choice!“

“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Dedicated Strength working specifically with Larry three days a week. Larry was very friendly, easy-going, dependable and knowledgeable about his craft. The gym itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a lot of great equipment. The skill level of lifters ranges from expert to novice and all are clearly welcome. I was completely comfortable in each of my sessions and the gym itself was perfect for focusing on the workout.It was a very pleasant experience and Joe and his team were very professional. Personal circumstances forced me to put a pause on my training, but the team was understanding and I will be back in the future.“
