“Had a major fail with a cracked main waste pipe (iron) from a 2nd floor bathroom. Called Needham Plumbing and Heating, Zack came, took a hard look at the situation and signed on for the repair! This was no easy fix, it involved cutting through the cast iron pipe and removing sections. All was encased behind a two story closed-in plumbing chase. He arranged for demo help as we had to remove the ceiling in a downstairs half bath. He upgraded the connections to the tub, re-set a toilet and made sure that everything was tight with no leaks! This was beyond exceptional work, done quickly with good communication and the repair will last another lifetime. Highest recommendation.“

“Amazing service. Came quickly. Took the time to explain what's the situation was. For us it was a bad capacitor that failed on our ancient central air system. In and out repair done in 15 minutes. When I asked him about upgrading the system to mini splits, he didn't give me a hard sell but told me about to read up on what mass save rebates I might be eligible for and then he can discuss how to navigate that to make sure we get the most out of anything we decide to do in the future. 1000/10 will hire again and be my go to for any HVAC related issues.“

“Our project was extensive, involving changing over from boiler, radiant heating, and multiple air conditioning units to a four heat-pump based system. We interviewed five different companies, and chose Lohrman due to an overall gestalt of competency, competitive pricing, and prior customer feedback.

Lohrman HVAC truly exceeded expectations and here is why:
1) Service: Today we needed a service call, which we placed at 7am, and at 8am a representative was at our door. The problem was fixed an hour later and they are coming back this afternoon to do additional work to make sure the problem doesn't recur.
2) Efficiency: They made a plan, executed it, all within the time frame delineated. Awesome!
3) Dependability: They arrived on time each day, cleaned up and left on time, leaving us with a chance to live normally with workmen in the house.
4) System design: Properly analyzed our requirements and did not under or over-size the equipment.
5) No surprises: Did not have hidden extra costs during installation.
6) Worth the money: We discussed whether we should go with a less expensive company, but given the above reasons, we were more than happy to pay a bit extra for superior service.“

BESC came the next day, and repiped the whole thing, and I was very pleased. I have been using them for at least 10 years, and have always been happy with the service. “RER for HVAC - Great Service! For more than a decade Bob F & Jeff R have provided service above my expectations. Examples: --- Furnace failed at peak of a blizzard. It was evening, roads unplowed, horrible conditions, yet Bob F soon arrived and gave us heat. --- Jeff R solved a years-old electrical fault probably caused by original installer. No more smoke puffs / alarms in the basement! --- Today in July, Jeff restored our Central AC cooling within 2 hours of my call. . I know a company can't guarantee this level of service, but RER has been providing it!“

“Jerry Clancy and his son Brad are by far the most knowledgeable people I've ever dealt with in the trades. They are courteous and prompt in communicating with you. I had a 23 year old wall unit that was on its last legs. Jerry wanted pictures of the unit, model and make, the receptacle and plug configuration, and the exact measurements of the existing unit. The price was extremely fair and the recommendations were spot on. The carpenter Colm and his helper Mauricio were on time, professional, efficient, and left the work area in immaculate condition. If you're tired of the customary run around, do yourself a big favor. Call these guys. You will not be disappointed. Oh, I almost forgot. He sent rebate forms for $220 on the Friedrich unit and a $40 rebate from MassSave. You just can't beat that.“
