After researching a few options, I went with Total Comfort Mechanical to get a heat pump system installed at our house. They specialize in HVAC and that's what mattered to me the most. I could see that level of expertise in the planning and installation steps. First, I really liked how the Total Comfort team worked with me on various options and took into consideration how I wanted the system to be installed. Next, the coordination of the Mass Save process and loan was handled very smoothly. Initial assessment of issue (rusted and damaged venting off the furnace) was thorough and helpful, and the pricing was reasonable. The technician arrived at the scheduled time and did an excellent job, leaving no debris at the work site. I'm giving 4 stars because the technician did not speak English and was unable to understand or answer my questions about the system. I had to call the office to ask a question, they would call the tech to get an answer, and then the office would call me back with a response. That aspect was frustrating and inefficient. Nonetheless, I'm totally satisfied with the work that was done, and will use TCM again.
