Over the past few years, I've experienced major body changes due to weight loss, I have myofascial pain syndrome and chronically knotted muscles, and I've had a few injuries to boot. I did physical therapy for a whole year, I tried dry needling, I went to a chiropractor, and finally decided to try structural integration/alignment with Phil. Of all the things I tried, the structural integration was by far the most impactful--a couple of days after a session with Phil, and I would feel stronger and more stable in the gym, and maintaining good posture wasn't so challenging as before. The best part, though, is that the effects cumulate, and after 10+ sessions, the improvements I've made have been huge. It takes time and commitment, and a little pain, but the results were worth it for me.

He works with skill and knowledge of how stretching can improve flexibility and posture and he does his work with patience and kindness, never rushing through the stretches. I highly recommend him.

I had a great experience with Layni and the head spa! I struggle with a super dry scalp due to eczema, and this treatment made a noticeable difference. While I can still see some dryness when I look in the mirror, it’s significantly better than before my appointment. Layni was kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole process really relaxing. I definitely recommend it if you’re dealing with scalp issues or just want to treat yourself to something soothing and effective!

Before and afterrr! My friend recommended me to get a haircut here with auntie young and honestly I’m super impressed with the result! Apart from being fast and efficient she’s also super sweet. She would stuff you with sweets and water and always approach you with a smile. My friend got her friend repermed and she did a great job at that too! Super recommended.

Totally awesome experience with this business and it's owner.One would think that it is extremely difficult to make someone feel comfortable when having to undress to be completely naked or just your panties and bra (your preference). However I could not have felt more comfortable standing there in my birthday suit. It was like I was with one of my best friends that I had known forever and we were just doing the regular gossipy girl chat thing. She took away the embarrassment, and never did I feel judged. In addition to that she knew every answer to even the smallest weird questions that I had. I was very impressed with her personality and the cleanliness of her shop. You, my dear, are a rare find, you should definitely be very proud!!!

I have been looking for a salon around here in Bloomington and I found the one. I will be coming back to this one. Khan did an amazing job and was very friendly. I usually have to file my nails a little bit after my nail appointment to clean up the edges but he cleaned the edges right after the polish. Nails club has really consistent, beautifully executed nail art. Some other places in town are more hit or miss, but I feel the quality here is consistently great.

I had been looking for a new stylist and found this gem of a place. I called made an appointment for the same day. (I believe they also take walk-ins) Josh was my stylist and he did an amazing job. He was attentive to what I wanted and he gave me just what I asked for. I will also add his wash and conditioning technique is so relaxing! I recently got one row of Natural Beaded Extentions from Hollie. I have been losing volume for a year or so and this is exactly what I needed! most people think of extensions for lots of length, hair, etc but I can tell you that have serve a very real purpose for someone that has thinning hair and just wants to feel/look like themself again. Hollie did an amazing job on the install and the color! Maria was there from start to finish answering any and all questions and making sure I feel comfortable with the process and the continued maintenance.

Alexis originally gave my daughter a lift and tint on her lashes and i wasnt very happy with the results. I contacted Alexis and let her know and she was very quick to offer another appointment. Unfortunately my daughter got sick and its was over 2 weeks before she could go back. But Alexis got her in immediately and the results are amazing. Her lashes are so beautiful. They are lifted and tinted to perfection. Im so impressed with Alexis and her professionalism and her work. 10/10 would recommend.

Posting a review because I'm so pleased with how my eyebrow turned out, and the stellar experience with them. I was hesitant about how well an eyebrow piercing would heal (famously easy area to damage), and I've been shocked and impressed with how quickly and supurbly this has turned out. Absolutely no scarring or site bump, minimal drainage, and no pain or even itchy irritation. It's been three months and this already looks and feels like I've had it for years. I've even knocked this piercing a few times and it's responded wonderfully. So, for healing and satisfactory placement alone I'd recommend Meredith.
But the consideration, clear communication, and compassion they show clients also deserves it's own mention! Meredith creates a cozy, fun space, shares exactly what to expect from the process and what steps are coming next, and is patient and thoughtful with adjustments and feedback. I left impressed by the easy consent practices and soothing, encouraging environment I found at this shop. It's clean, bright, and quite welcoming.
The price was also very fair, at 90 for my eyebrow service and jewelry, and multiple payment methods offered.

Friendly down home service and fair prices. Mann has replaced one of my hot water heaters and been out to troubleshoot plumbing issues at my home a couple of times. I've always been happy with the service and feel like it's less expensive than one of the huge franchise plumbing brands. During extra busy times of year it may take a couple phone calls to connect and get the appointment, but I'd say it's well worth that effort to skip the corporate overhead costs and support a local business.

Responed quickly even though it was a holiday and were already busy with cold weather emergencies they came and changed my fried furnace breaker.
I hired Price to add new lighting and outlets to my old home. They were professional, punctual, and worked really hard to get the work done in a timely manner. They were also careful to make sure they understood my requests correctly. I suggest them to anyone, and plan to call them again if I need more work in the future. I’m now waiting on my invoice (not so fun, but it’s the cost of having new, awesome lighting).

I called this company to help with a commercial refrigeration and they did a prompt and quick job replacing the compressor. I called them again and they ordered me a door which took a little bit of time to get the hinges, this was a supply and demand issue not on their part. I highly recommend this company.

We have had Service Master to our house on 2 separate occasions. Each time the crew was quick to come, efficient, super helpful and understanding. They were so kind and extremely professional. They kept in constant communication with us, which is incredibly important to my husband and myself, without us even prompting. They helped ease a lot of stress and tension during 2 very tough times in our lives. If I ever need restoration services they will always be my go-to. I can’t recommend them enough.
Harley and Hunter arrived early to clean the carpet in one bedroom and clean out the dryer vent. They were very thorough and communicated with us with every step of the process. At one point, Harley had to get in the crawl space of the house to check on a vent connection. I appreciate their attention to detail and that they took before/after photos of what we could not see under the house.

I was looking for a rug alternative as my needs required customized dimensions. They walked through options and listened to my wants. They were friendly, patient, an extremely helpful. We decided on a carpet remnant, cut to my size, with bound edging. The results were amazing! The staff and owner are all very welcoming. The whole experience was positive, start to finish. Bought a new-build home and the first thing I wanted to do was get the garage floor coated. I talked to several companies around Bloomington but he was by far easiest to communicate with. His pricing was in line with what I was expecting to pay, and he did a great job. Did not rush and spent a lot of time on prep, which is a good thing, and the floor came out amazing. A few months later I elevated the water heater and he came back out to fill in the uncoated area where it had been sitting on the ground, and you’d never know it was a “patch” done after the fact. Would definitely recommend.

I have used this company twice this year. Both experiences were absolutely exceptional. Jeff helped me find the flooring of my choice. I went with Luxury Vinyl Plank....stunning! Ty came out for measurements, and my estimate came the very next day. I have done several updates to my house recently and this company was the only one that I didn't have to wait around for, ever. Jake installed the flooring on the main level of my house. He was fast, organized, and does gorgeous work. It turned out so well that I requested he be the person to install the flooring in my basement. Again, the floor is absolutely beautiful.
Both installs were finished sooner than they estimated. I honestly could not be more pleased.

Walnut Builders have done several jobs for us over the years and its always with excellent results. ****** is scrupulous about the quality of the work, the materials, the daily cleanup, as well as their timeliness, courtesy and consideration of the familys needs. They couldnt have been more thoughtful and careful about always masking indoors during the pandemic. He is also an excellent communicator who can and does explain what he plans to do and why, and if anything changes based on what he finds once they start, he comes back to you with detailed information and recommendations for going forward. On our latest job he found multiple serious problems with ventilation and electrical connections in our attic caused by work either not done or done shoddily by past contractors. This alone is a reason to hire Walnut Builders.
We hired Evergreen Home Improvement to address structural and masonry needs in our (new) 1940s basement. We are blown away by the amazing work Shawn & Kristin did on our yard. They installed french drains for us in our back yard, and they were tirelessly dedicated to getting the drainage just right. We have had a ton of rain this spring, and so far, our back yard hasn't pooled! They also installed some privacy trees for us that look absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be using them again!

The organization I am with always uses Nature's Way for florals (both greenery and centerpieces) for events. Had C&H recently rebuild a water spillway for me through my side yard. The workers did an outstanding job on rebuilding my spillway.
They leader of the project discussed with me the project and addressed any questions I had, prior to starting the project. He came up with excellent suggestions and enhancements needed.
The workers, stayed very focused and worked extremely hard with great efficiency. Left the project site and area in good condition.
The other night during a strong downpour, the spillway worked very well and exactly as it should have.

Lisa was fantastic, she explained as she went along to prepare me for what she would be doing next; the pressure I might feel, the sounds I might hear, etc which greatly helped me to relax. She did a wonderful job of repairing the sling for my tooth making sure my bite was comfortable even after returning upright from the reclined position. The result was a huge improvement in mouth feel and appearance.

I have been going to Dr. Arnold's office, on and off, for my dental needs, for most of my adult life. I have always had a relatively good experience with their services. The best to be expected as far as facing the dreaded dental chair. My last visit there was last week and the visit seemed more notable to me than in times past. Maybe because I am getting older and decided to pay attention or maybe because they just did a fantastic job. Either way, I thought to give my review of the business here on Google maps. Excellent job helping me with a manageable plan as an uninsured customer. Excellent job being courteous to a known smoker with a history of addiction. Not that they promoted either but rather showed a professional approach and consideration for the fact. An extra stitch to the extraction site to prevent a dry socket was much appreciated. I highly recommend this dental office for any adult or child in need of dentistry work. Young, old, underinsured, overinsured, or anywhere in between, they can meet your needs.

I used the services once in the past about 20 years ago. Alot has changed, the advertising claims one day dentures for most, this is a false claim, atleast for the bloomington indiana site. I was told they will call when ready, I asked if they had any idea of how long and was told again I would receive a call, I replied, are we talking 2 days, a week, a month? I was then told if I haven't got a call in 2 weeks I should give them a call. They used to be first come first serve, now you need an appointment, which they were nice enough to get me right in . The front desk isn't very knowledgeable about cost it seems. As I asked what a set of dentures would cost, I was told the economy dentures would be 1100 dollars, and I didn't pay attention to the more expensive styles as 1100 was as affordable as I could handle.. after the impressions had been done, which was done quickly and professionally, by a very nice technician, it was back to the reception desk for payment, it was then I found out my dentures would only be 650 dollars which was a wonderfull surprise. I paid and left . It was at that time I thought well I would have went with better than economy dentures had I known the correct price from the start. So I called and explained that I had just left there and because of the misquote I wanted to know the price of higher quality dentures. The receptionist told me I would have to speak with one of the technicians and could I hold, after about 4 to 6 minutes the receptionist came back to the phone and told me that the economy plus dentures would be around 1200 dollars, which I didn't choose to go with as I felt one step up for double the money wasn't real affordable in my opinion. As for the quality, and timeliness, stay tuned as that remains to be seen, I will update my survey if given the chance. They get 4 stars only because of the lack of knowledge on pricing there own products. Let's see if they earn the 5th star or get stars removed. Update coming soon, hopefully . I'm so happy to be able to edit this post. I now remove all stars UPDATE. IT IS NOW MID JULY, and Affordable Dentures has sent me a bill for an additional $698.. I paid my bill in full the day they made impressions, infact they will not even have your dentures made until paid in full. So I'm not sure what kinds scam they are trying to pull, but they will not get a penny more. Beware you have been warned

If you want the best neck and back crack and alignment this Guy is it. Old school like it should be. Been coming here since 2019. This guy is the only chiropractor with both a spine roller machine and a water jet table. I come in here once a week it’s $40 for all of it. Best deal in Southern Indiana. My lower back is smoked but this place keeps me working and on the road.
John Pixler is a great chiropractor. Trust me, I have been to dozens over the years! He is not cookie cutter like some chiropractors are, he does what is needed and does it well. He's very upfront and fair about his pricing and even accepts walk-ins (I'm going to walk in tomorrow morning!) I'm hurting right now on a Sunday afternoon, but I know that by this time tomorrow I will have gotten a lot of relief from his expertise and hands-on care. I highly recommend Pixler chiropractic!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Rachel James at Furry Friends Vet in Bloomington. She is, without a doubt, the best veterinarian my cat Benjamin (Benji) and I have ever met. When Benjamin was struggling with a severe illness, persistent skin lesions, and ongoing allergies, we were terrified and desperate for answers. Then I met Dr. James, truly a magician in the world of veterinary care.
From the very first visit, Dr. James showed a level of patience, kindness, and compassion that is rare to find. She took the time to understand Benjamin’s symptoms, listen to all of my concerns, and explain a thoughtful treatment plan in a way that made me feel informed and reassured. It wasn’t just medical care; it was genuine empathy.
Benjamin’s skin infection lasted for over two months, which was incredibly stressful, but Dr. James supported me and Benji through every step of this long healing journey. Not once did she rush us, dismiss concerns, or make me feel like just another appointment on her schedule. She treated Benjamin as if he were her own cat, with so much love and gentleness that I was often genuinely moved.
What truly amazed me was how Benjamin responded to her. My cat is usually cautious around strangers, but he became so attached to Dr. James that he actually recognized her during visits and would immediately perk up and show happiness the moment she walked into the room. Seeing your pet trust someone that deeply is the greatest reassurance any pet parent can receive.

Miss Myla (Husky) has been going to The Bone Yard since it opened. I rescued her from the animal shelter. She absolutely loves the staff in the groom shop and daycare. She can be a difficult groom at times (typical husky) but the staff always does
a great job. Myla loves seeing all her doggy friends in daycare and especially loves the birthday parties!! Both the groom shop and daycare are always clean - daily cleaning at the end of the day to keep all the doggies healthy. Watching the staff interact with the dogs and their owners- you can tell they truly care about their wellbeing. I wouldn’t think of taking Myla anywhere else. She loves the staff.
Studio K9 helped my boy Jack with a nail trim and paw pad trim. He was a bit nervous and had never seen electric clippers before. Lindsay was patient and helped him feel at ease with the process. The salon is super clean and well organized. So many quality and unique treat options inside!

They worked on spots in my neck and back that I didn't even know were sore. I noticed an improvement in mobility and comfort after only 2 visits within the span of a month. They play relaxing music in the private massage rooms and create a rejuvenating experience.
Angela and Lina both give incredibly good massages. So good sometimes I think there should be a drool bucket under the face hole in the table, lol. Lots of complaints here about tipping. I am a very generous tipper and have never gotten any pushback from them. Considering the low price of their massages compared to other places (who also expect tips by the way), I don't have any trouble ponying up a 40% tip. Still cheaper than the other places after tip. They aren't waiting tables and they are focused on one client for the entire session.
