I saw the Zoé commercial on WGN and came in with my brother to learn more about the slogan “30 lbs in 30 days”. I’m a diabetic (controlled glucose). I have fibromyalgia, IBS, high cholesterol, slow thyroid and other issues. My brother who is 11 years younger than me was very heavy and was in pain. We signed up and followed the plan as indicated. It is not easy. The Director helped me with the struggles due to health conditions. At the end of 30 days: my brother lost the 30 pounds and I lost 15 pounds. My triglycerides went down from 386 to 142 and the cholesterol went from 286 to 152. This is the lowest I’ve ever had my cholesterol! This is not an easy plan and it requires commitment, but I’m thankful to God that the Zoé plan worked and that my brother was with me on this path.
I have been going to Dr Peterson for over 20 years after consulting with him about LASIK. My wife has been a patient for over 30 years, kids for 10 years . It’s so nice talking with a doctor that genuinely cares about what he does, takes time to explain the process, and takes the time to discuss results post eye exam. I even got new pair of Gucci glasses for less than “big box” prices. If you need a great optometrist that has been a part of, and raised kids in the community, for over 30 years, Dr Peterson is the eye doctor you want to see.

Montu is incredibly humble, kind, and takes excellent care of his clients. He cut my hair, and it was the best haircut I've ever had. I used to do my hair at Tony&Guy back in India years ago, and I was happy and satisfied. Years later, he found the same level of fulfillment, which is really more than that. I stopped in today for a few watch batteries. When I called, I asked if they took care of Movado watch batteries and Gus told me he works on everything from Timex to Rolex. That was great to hear. I stopped in with 3 watches that needed batteries and was out within 10 minutes. I took a quick look at his custom pieces and they are beautiful and thoughtfully created. I will definitely stop in again soon.

A friend introduced me to Beauty Lab Salon and has been a client ever since. Even though I live in New York City, I've been coming to the salon for years. Initially, I visited for color, highlights, and cuts, but in the past couple of years, I've also been getting extensions done. I have to say, the service, professionalism, and knowledge at the salon are outstanding. It's such a welcoming and warm place. Ms. Monika is exceptional - she has the best knowledge when it comes to both coloring and extensions. I have very thin hair, but thanks to her, I've never had more beautiful hair. The quality of the extensions and the technique is perfect.
I couldn't help but notice a negative review by Karolina Charylo, and I was shocked by how she compared herself to people who are sick with cancer. I lost a family member to cancer, and I found her comments to be very cruel. It's important to note that having extensions is not just about adding hair to your head. It's crucial to gain knowledge and learn how to brush and take care of them; otherwise, you might end up damaging your hair. It's not just about how the hair is done but also about how you take care of it.

I asked to be put on their schedule yesterday but they were booked for the next week, until after July 4th but was told if there were any cancellations, they would let me know. They contacted me at the end of that day with a cancellation and came very next day! Totally unexpected and it’s usually a few days/ a week before they can come out. C&H recently installed luxury vinyl flooring throughout my the first floor of my ranch home. Their work quality was superb, and the men were friendly and efficient. My only caveat was for the initial estimate for the work. I was not told that my 1949 might need testing for asbestos. Such testing delayed the work and resulted in some additional cost for abatement. In addition, further materials were needed for the baseboard and quarter board. For purposes of financial planning a more thorough estimate would definitely have been preferable!

She asked that I text her a picture of the crack and she'll forward it to Martin (the owner). There was another crack that I didn't even notice. The price was good (it was in my expected range) and I scheduled the work. I asked him about a preventative solution to avoid further disruption and he came up with a plan and quote for a drainage system.The day of the job Martin and his employee Ruben came out to complete the project. Ruben is a very friendly and personable gentleman.The reviews about Martin are spot on. Martin is very knowledgeable and professional. Cornerstone installed our new roof after a hail storm. They made the entire process easy. They dealt directly with our insurance and ensured we got everything taken care of down to the gutters and window wraps. They kept us in the loop at every stage. They responded quickly and accurately to questions we had and were always ready to help. I certainly don’t wish for another storm but if we should ever need to do this again I’ll use Cornerstone without hesitation.

ComEd is upgrading electrical service in our area (Winston Park subdivision, Palatine). ALI was out yesterday to repair the areas that were fully dug out (in my case both front and back yards). They did a fantastic job in fixing the mess left by ComEd. They leveled the ground, removed debris dug up (large rocks), put in soil and seeded. They offered to put in mulch around my bushes in the backyard but i never had mulch so i declined the offer. They spent as much time as needed to restore both area and more! Hopefully the grass will fill in in the front! Thanks for taking care of the mess left by ComEd! The crew did a great job!
I would highly recommend Ark Tree Service. They were professional and courteous, but most importantly they did an excellent job. They were very careful not to damage the lawn in the area where they were working. After removing the stump they cleaned up, raked and thanked me for my business. I was impressed to say the least.

Ive always been interested in going to the chiropractor but I never really understood the science behind it, I just thought it was a place to go to whenever you tweaked your back due to life circumstances. So I saw online they offered a new patient special which was an amazing deal so I decided to go in. In that first appointment I was amazed at how in depth they went in to explaining everything. Your spine is directly correlated with parts of your body and organs so if you are feeling random pain or pressure points in your body or some organs aren't functioning the way they should, this could be due to an non aligned spine and could be causing unnecessary stress to those parts of your body, So I was amazed to hear that, if you align your spine you align your body and soul and existence to be in more of a flow state and achieve lasting health. I've been going for a while now and it will be adapted to my health ritual from now on and the rest of my life, once you get to a solid ground, you only have to go once every couple weeks for maintenance and then you'll be excited to go back because once you get to that point it's almost like a release and uplifting feeling and it just makes you feel better and you can tell that once you get to that solid ground. it really does help your overall health and you'll wonder why you never started this to begin with. As far as the chiropractor side I've been working with Dr Josh and man what a blessing to have come across such knowledge and connection to the body, Highly experienced and amazing touch and feeling of what exactly needs to be adjusted and is overall an amazing person. Brightlife has been one of my favorite places the past 3 months. I had never sought chiropractic care in the past and did not know what to expect. What initially brought me to Brightlife was an injury I sustained working out. It took some time but that injury eventually healed with the help of the staff and chiropractors. I still absolutely love it here and the treatments have helped me transition to a new type of workout I’ve always wanted to try out. Fredrick is such a talented massage therapist. I felt incredibly relaxed. the room, lighting and music were all perfect for relaxing. everything was so professional. He worked on my lower back , neck and foot. The pain I had was so much better after an hour of massage. I will definitely be booking more sessions in future.
This is a well kept facility. Dr. D is kind and so knowledgeable and genuinely wants to help you be healthy. The new employee (Kat) is kind as well, and seems to be catching on to what needs to be done quickly.
I have a 12 yo daughter who is a dancer and was having immense foot/heel pain. Took her to three different doctors over the course of 6+ months, including an orthopedic, and the prognosis was Sever's disease... which pretty much meant she'd have to deal with it until she grows out of it. It was not much fun watching a kid who loves to dance being in tears from dancing.
Was recommended to Dr. Lee by a family member... skeptic, of course, but worth a shot...
Dr. Lee spent an hour evaluating my daughter. What hurts, when it hurts, how she walks, how her feet look when she's standing... evaluated everything! What Dr. Lee found was that her hips were off a bit, and of course, that affects everything on down...
Long story short, two adjustment days later and she was probably 90% pain free! This was over a year ago, and we haven't heard her complain about her foot since.
So, yes. 5 stars. Wish I would have come to Dr. Lee before spending time/money with 3 other doctors.

In her old age, my girl has all kinds of lumps, bumps, and can barely stand and Kristen is so gentle with her and takes her time to ensure our gal gets the best care! Amanda is the absolute best groomer my Snickers has ever had! Snickers is a 13 year old Cockapoo with a list of ailments…arthritis, skin growths, heart murmur, heart issues, anxiety, skin issues with shaving, etc. Amanda listened to all of these issues with true concern and understood that just cuz our dog was elderly didn’t mean he didn’t deserve to be treated with gently hands. She even gave me advice on how to continue grooming him. Attached is a picture of him right after … he is smiling!!! I highly recommend Amanda if u have an elderly dog!
I had my first session with Margarita and it was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to really listed and focus on my shoulder, which has been causing me a lot of pain, and I could genuinely feel the difference afterward.

Fantastic massage experience! I am a physical therapist, so I am very particular and have high expectations regarding massage, and he delivered an excellent experience. His skill and knowledge of anatomy were apparent. I was made to feel welcome and relaxed, from the moment I enter the door. He is professional and relatable. The environment was clean and setup for such a zen vibe; the aesthetics were lovely, inside and out. I prefer deep tissue massage, and the pressure and sequencing throughout the massage were absolutely perfect.

Good massage. The therapist communicated with me throughout the process. When I arrived I went over what I wanted. They charged me up front but told me there was a three dollar charge to use a credit card. I said you should probably have that on the site were you book. That way if someone's wants they can bring cash. However, at the end she said that she was not going to be charging the 3 dollars when I asked if I use my card for the tip will I get charged another 3 dollars. My bank did show the charge. But we will see what happens when everything is processed.

I started my journey with Dr. Gary Nov 2021. He is simply amazing. The acupuncture makes me feel so much better instantly. The herbal teas and pills help my underlying patterns that are causing all the issues. He has helped me through GI issues, allergies, sinus issues, all the aches and pains from marathon training, autoimmune issues, and now a concussion with all the fun symptoms that go with the healing part. I went in barely being able to remember words and spoke brokenly and slow, and walked out speaking with a stutter and with more mental clarity. The teas and pills gave me a “pick up” after taking them. This was expected as after all the other times his herbal remedies have done that too! The second week, I walked out being able to think clearly, and now barely have any issues with speech. While I still have problems with dizziness and some memory issues, each time I walked out feeling better. I’ve had my parents go to see him as well for various issues, and they sing his praises as well. I definitely recommend him. Jane and Tiffany up front are super nice as well!
I have had a problem with my lower back for over a year non-stop. I've tried 3 other doctors with all kinds of therapy, massages, chiro, etc. I went twice and Dr.Nakamura fixed me up after 2 sessions and I do not have ANY back pain anymore. This is the first time in a year I have slept without back pain continuously. He's amazing! 10/10 recommend.
Hands down the best driving school. Very thorough, easy web platform, ability to skip the DMV and take the driving test at Top Driver facility. Most of all the BEST behind the wheel driving instructor, Lester G! He is patient, kind, funny, knowledgeable, and teen relatable! My daughter loves driving with him. She’s learned so much and feels comfortable while being in the drivers seat with Lester. I will definitely be going to Top Driver again, one teen down, one more to go!
