My son really loves coming here, and I have personally noticed a lot of positive changes in his confidence since he started taking classes. As a father, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing your child genuinely enjoy an activity—especially when I get to be a part of that experience with him.

One thing I truly appreciate is that this place does not feel like it is just about making money. You can tell they genuinely understand the value of these activities for young children. Teaching little kids is not easy, and their pricing is much more affordable than many other places. To me, that shows they are doing this with passion and care. Without a true love for what they do, it would be very difficult to offer classes for young children at such a reasonable price.

“Tough to summarize just how good Ms. Sugino and her classes are. I want to avoid clichés and hyperbole, but she truly is a wonderful teacher who is empowering these kids, in body and mind. With dicsipline, she immediately commands respect from the kids, but always in a playful and welcoming environment. The kids just know to listen, but somehow, always have the time of their lives at class.
I as a parent have learned (My first class i was uptight and hovering) so much from the classes, and look forward to the bonding and relationship opportunities they provide for me and my son.
If you are on the fence about trying a class, do it. My only regret is not starting my son earlier than his 5th birthday.

Your kid will obviously learn great martial arts skills, and improve their physical capabilities but the social aspects the camaraderie, the humility and the respect they will learn is what makes this place so special. Thank you Ms Sugino.“

“I always wanted to get into a combat sport but i was very nervous in going to the gym. I heard about Top Notch and i wanted to give it a try and i absolutely love it. The environment here is very welcoming, im able to train with people who have way more experience than me and they are good to work with especially since i dont have the same experience. Finding the right gear for me was also a little hard but Mac who is the owner has very good gear for good prices.
