I have been to Egyptian Queen Salon twice now, and both times, Susu gave me the most amazing haircuts! She is also so knowledgeable about hair care techniques and products, and made sure I left not just with a great haircut and styling but with the ability to maintain it myself. As someone who is very picky and protective of my hair, I am always concerned going into any new salon. Jessica put that all to rest and is easily the best stylist I’ve ever met, not to mention the best to talk to. As someone who has been to some great hair stylists over the last few years in Chicago, she by far tops them all. She took my reference image and nailed the assignment. I love it so much, and even after less than 24 hours of my new look, I have already received so many compliments on it. I can’t wait to come back and see her soon!
Tori is an amazing hairdresser and I trust her hands! I hadn’t seen her in a year, but she quickly picked up my thoughts and executed a classy cute cut! Julie is a very kind receptionist and is great at keeping up with guests and staff. She’s a doll to converse with as well. The hairdressers are funky and fun and the salon is full of laughs. The salon is also highly ethical in their products and the owner has done a beautiful job at integrating design and life into the space.

Paige was the make-up artist for my wedding. Before my trial, I had never had anyone else do my makeup, so I was nervous. I had no reason to be; she was so easy to talk to, and a lot of fun! One of my bridesmaids had also never had her makeup professionally done, and she was also instantly put at ease. Paige did great, and everything stayed despite sweating like crazy on the dance floor!
Kayla and Vintage provide a unique grooming experience in downtown Champaign. It's a warm and comfortable setting adjacent to the old Art theater. I like the vibe of the place and the downtown setting rather than a strip mall storefront. The professionalism and quality of the services are outstanding. I'm especially happy with the beard trims. People told me I looked 15 years younger after her work. I'll take that any day. This isn't a cut rate place. If you want first class service and a great outcome then check Vintage out.

As a bearded, bald man, I had become accustomed to shaving my head for the last 25 years, until several months back I decided to let it grow out. I went in for my first haircut in a quarter century, and was not disappointed. Steve did a great job, and I actually look civilized again! I much prefer a traditional barbershop to the hair stylist salons. If you're like me, and prefer a traditional barbershop, then Andy's is the place to go.
After almost 2 years of bad haircuts from other places, Sam did a great job, he understood my face shape, did it within 30 minutes, paid attention to detail and his understanding of how hair works his amazing, I came in with 3-4 months of growth with messy waves and difficult hair and he cleaned it up amazingly.

Classic Tan always has a friendly atmosphere, clean, great tanning options! As well as tanning, I got my teeth whitened there today and had a fantastic experience! Affordable, professional, great results, all questions answered. Definitely recommend. I expected some sensitivity or pain from the procedure and had nothing but great results! I also love that I can start and stop membership online before I even go into the store.

This was by far the BEST Pedicure I have ever received! Belinda took her time and made my nails look beautiful. I just wanted a classic nude healthy look and she delivered. I love that she doesn’t use a drill like other salons I’ve been to , which always left nails so sensitive and damaged. Belinda is the consummate professional and truly a kind spirit. Came in today with my 6yo niece and had a GREAT experience!!! We were taken immediately and was treated so well. They let her know everything that they were doing. I think this will be our go-to place when I need my nails done. One of the polish on her nails came off and when I called them back they are going to fix it. It's nice to go from a bad experience to an AMAZING experience that shows my niece that not all nail salons are rude and nasty. You really turned it around for her! Decent experience overall. Got the shape and service I wanted. Nail technicians talked non-stop, so bringing headphones is recommended if that type of thing is bothersome to you. Prices were really reasonable compared to other places in town.

He was so friendly and outgoing that I still remember him so today reached out to find that he’s still there after 45 years, and as kind as ever. Toni is absolutely amazing! When I first walked into her studio I was blown away at just how beautiful and creative her studio looked. I hired Toni originally just for my bridal makeup but at my consultation Toni informed me that my skin was extremely dehydrated and wasn't holding my makeup very well. She recommended that I either try a facial or switch my skin care products. I chose to start with a hydrating facial. When I went in for my facial it was the most relaxing experience. All of Toni's products smell so wonderful and felt even better on my skin. Toni explained what she is doing every step of the way. I highly recommend Toni for all your skin care and makeup/ Glam needs. She is extremely skilled, patient, and kind.

I have had excellent experiences working with Xtreme professionally and at home. Xtreme was contracted to perform all of the plumbing work as part of my lab renovation at the University of Illinois. My main point of contact was Jesse. Jesse and his team did some incredible work with high pressure gas plumbing / gas manifolds, among other things. Very responsive and professional. This was a *big* job, and the work was done rapidly and to the highest standard. More recently, when a pipe burst at my house, I remembered I had Jesse's number saved in my phone, and he got us squared away with an emergency plumber from Xtreme in minutes. I've interacted with this business a lot, and I would recommend them without reservation. Jesse is truly exceptional.

He installed a Level 2 wall charger in my detached garage for my electric vehicle, and he took the time to explain everything clearly while making sure the installation was completed safely and correctly.
I also want to recognize Ryan, who was incredibly responsive to my emails and answered every question I had. He made the process of coordinating with Ameren Illinois simple and helped ensure I received every available incentive. Thanks to the Ameren program, the installation and the EV wall charger ended up costing me nothing out of pocket.
Since I have a detached garage, I expected they would need to dig a trench to run power. Thankfully, that wasn’t necessary. Instead, they upgraded several pieces of electrical equipment to complete the installation properly and to code.
From start to finish, Remco checked every box for me: professionalism, communication, punctuality, quality workmanship, and value. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for future electrical projects and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy electrical contractor.

She and her staff did an incredible job in the space of about two hours as the theatre was transitioning between two big events (a touring concert and a local wedding) -- and after the concert event left the theatre completely trashed last night, with confetti all over the main floor, in the orchestra pit, on the stage, etc., along with numerous soda spills, messy dressing rooms, leftover catering in the green room, and filthy floors and bathrooms front-of-house.
Sarah and her staff got us back to “neutral state” in record time so we could move on to the next event.

I've always been wary of painters, since it's difficult to determine quality before embarking on a project. There's nothing more upsetting than seeing a poor paint job on the walls of your home. A neighbor recommended Precision Painting. It's been a dozen years since we painted the interior so there was a lot of work to do, including nail pops along outside walls from siding installation several years ago.
Precision Painting lives up to its name. Its three person crew was skilled and diligent in their work. They spent a great deal of time getting things just right, including removing a cottage cheese ceiling in the kitchen and totally hiding holes where light fixtures once hung. The interior walls of our home have never looked better. Also, the crew was very pleasant as well as respectful of us, our dog and our property.

Carter was great, very nice and professional. I think 177 dollars was alot cause he barely did anything at all. He put out mice traps and put some wool in a pipe outside. My complaint was my appointment was yesterday from 2-4 noone ever showed then got a call at 5 saying they couldn't come that day. Very aggravating they could of called earlier. So I had to rearrange my schedule so they could come out the next day at an earlier time. We will see if the mice disappear fingers crossed.

What makes Jon a unicorn is that he's an artistic, creative type who works like a dynamo. I hired him for a complete overhaul of my yard in 2025 and I could not be happier with the overall experience or the end result. He's imaginative and bold, a detail-oriented perfectionist, and a skilled craftsman. He cut no corners. He wasted no time. I never found myself frustrated with him. He's a unicorn.
Jon was easy to work with. Excellent communication. He was honest when I had bad ideas (and he was right!). He designed boldly and I'm so glad I trusted him. His unique ideas that initially made me nervous became my favorite components of the final product. That's why he's a master of his craft.
I sometimes find myself standing and staring out my back window, admiring the beautiful yard Jon created. I cannot recommend Jon and his work highly enough.

Our HOA just had Ludwig Bros. redo some landscaping along Staley Road. We worked with Eric K. and he did a great job of listening to our needs, creating a plan, reworking the plan to fit our budget, planting in a highly used utility easement, and following up to make sure we were completely satisfied. Eric was so great to work with. I would definitely recommend him and his crew to others needing landscaping done.

I had an excellent experience during my dental appointment today for a cavity filling, checkup, and X-ray. Dr. Hawa was incredibly kind, supportive, and professional throughout the entire process. She took the time to clearly explain each step, which helped me feel informed and at ease.
What stood out the most was her level of care and attention — she consistently checked on me to ensure I was comfortable. The procedure itself was completely painless, and I never once felt anxious or scared. As someone who is usually nervous about dental visits, this meant a lot to me.
Dr. Hawa’s calm and reassuring approach truly made a difference. She even followed up afterward by texting me to check how my tooth was doing once the anesthesia wore off, which shows how much she genuinely cares about her patients.

I have been going to this dentist for almost a year. All staff are very knowledgeable and super friendly. They make sure you understand all your treatments. I really appreciate Dr. Crawford! He gave me a thorough and thoughtful evaluation for my chronic shoulder and back pain and has gone above and beyond in providing effective and time-limited treatment. This is my first experience with chiropractic work and myofascial massage, and I'm already feeling significantly better and hopeful about living with less pain.

2024~We took our cat 'lil'gurl' here and the vet was willing to spend time with us and cover every possible avenue of what could be wrong it our baby. There is a caring and kindness here you may not find at other clinics. This is a wonderful place and I am greatful it exists

I took my cat here for a checkup. this place is so sweet! they were so nice and gentle with her, and they really seem to love the animals they treat. they aren't just doing it for the money. I definitely recommend them!
Was very pleased with the cat grooming. This was my cat's first grooming apppointment and he made me feel comfortable with what he was going to do. When I picked up my cat she did not seem too stressed and looked really good.

Had a great experience with Becca! There happened to be a last minute opening and was able to get in when I called. My neck/shoulders felt stiff and gave pain. Becca assessed me and then helped me with a targeted massage to help relieve the pain. I felt I had way better range of motion after my massage and felt more relief.
Everything about her is great . The first time I went it was a last min thing and I was hurting . She took care of me a couple hours later .

I have been going to see Tiffany at BWA for years and she is the best. I recently dislocated my elbow and she was able to modify my massage appropriately to give me great relief in my neck and upper body while not disturbing that arm at all.

I came here for a massage, and the therapist was highly professional and skilled. The environment was quiet and comfortable. The therapist demonstrated a deep understanding of meridians and acupoints; after the session, I felt completely at ease—as if my *Qi* and blood were flowing freely throughout my body. I felt incredibly relaxed afterwards—it was truly wonderful.
The massage was incredibly soothing; she kneaded my sore hamstrings, calves, and shoulders, completely relaxing my muscles. I felt totally at ease. I absolutely love this place and will definitely be coming back often.

Thanks to Ivy Rehab Mettler Center's physical therapist Matthew Gordon's expertise I recently had a great trip to Spain where I walked daily over 15,000 steps. I have had a long term balance /gait issue causing hip, knee, foot pain limiting exercise and walking - Matt zeroed in on factors contributing and is helping me correct with in office and home exercises that I was able to utilize in preparation and when i traveled.
This team takes their time to help each person! You aren’t rushed in and out the door. Not only can you get an adjustment but also you are given some exercises to improve the area you are having difficulty with. Both husband and wife have excellent training, experience, professionalism and a desire to help you!
I started seeing Dr Ge in January of 2025 to be treated for Chronic Urticaria (hives) that I had had every day since May of 2024. Every single day there were 12 to 30 painful hives in multiple areas. Dr Ge is very knowledgeable and professional with TCM and accupuncture. After several months of consistent, weekly, personalized treatments, with herbal tea and accupuncture, I have now been totally free of any hives or symptoms since June and I am down to once a month accupuncture.
