I have had a lot of trouble finding a good barber in Champaign since moving here. I just got a cut from Koy at Midwest Barber Company and couldn’t be happier. I gave him an idea of the numbers (fade down to a 1 on the sides and scissor trim on the top) and showed him a photo of how my previous barber used to cut it. He was efficient with time but still made great conversation. In the end, he left my hair exactly how I’ve been wanting it. 10/10 would recommend.

After getting my hair cut from Matt for the last 4 years, its safe to say that this is easily the best place to get your hair cut in the CU area. The attention to detail is second to none and his fades are unmatched. Also cant beat the price. Decided to write this review after having moved and finding it difficult to find a barber that remotely compares to these guys!

I lived in Champaign-Urbana for three years for my doctoral studies. I found Matt online and loved my experience with him as my barber. We built a great rapport over the years, and he delivered high quality cuts each time. Getting my haircut there was always fun, and Matt is someone I will miss about living in the CU area.
