Within the last couple years, she’s started cutting my husband’s hair as well, so this salon has become our family salon! She also waxes my eyebrows, so I don’t have to make a trip to a separate salon for that separate service! It has been so fun being apart of her journey, starting & growing her business and transforming the salon into her own! It’s just a cherry on top that we happen to live about 3 minutes away, so it’s perfect in every way! ❤️❤️

I used J&B Alterations to get my wedding dress hemmed. I worked with Jeannie. She was super responsive when scheduling the appointment. I don't live in the area but bought my dress there since that is where my family is. I reached out to Jeannie via a phone call and she texted me immediately after. I had to change the appointment several times because my wedding was during the COVID 19 pandemic. Jeannie was super responsive via text and was willing to work with us to find a time for me to come in. She was able to alter my dress after I took it in. I wasn't able to pick it up in person and was nervous it wouldn't fit but when I put it on the day of my wedding it fit absolutely perfect! She did an awesome job. My mom and sister also got theirs altered with Jeannie the same time I did and she did exactly what we needed and asked for. All three of ours looked super good! They were ready within like two weeks and were definitely priced appropriately. I would recommend Jeannie for your alterations for big events!

Malik is so good and patient with kids. My son isn’t the best at sitting still for long periods and can’t stand anybody touching his hair and scalp. Malik’s has worked with my son for months now and has gained my son’s trust and now he enjoys coming to him. He works fast and is very reliable and it’s easy to get in with him. we needed a patch fix for a hole in our above ground pool. Noel with imperial came out and patched the pool in minutes. it was fast easy and can barely see there was ever a hole. The price was super affordable for us as well. I HIGHLY recommend this business for all your pool needs. Thank you again for fixing our summer for my family.

Susu is an extremely talented and friendly hairstylist for those with curly hair. Her salon feels relaxed and welcoming. I called on a Tuesday afternoon on the off chance that she was still accepting walk-ins for the day. I'm so grateful that she ended up having space available, because this is my favorite haircut and experience of my life. She understood exactly what I wanted based on my picture of Jenny Ortega sporting shaggy layers. She encouraged me that I had more curls than I knew (versus other hairstylists have often doubted me so I started calling my hair wavy). She is positive and affirming when chatting with customers, and by the end, I had made a new friend. Susu also took me through all of the instructions for how to keep my curls this defined, from products, to washing schedules, to how to dry hair and sleep in it overnight. She's a wonderful, professional cosmetologist who we are lucky to have in town!

Tori is an amazing hairdresser and I trust her hands! I hadn’t seen her in a year, but she quickly picked up my thoughts and executed a classy cute cut! Julie is a very kind receptionist and is great at keeping up with guests and staff. She’s a doll to converse with as well. The hairdressers are funky and fun and the salon is full of laughs. The salon is also highly ethical in their products and the owner has done a beautiful job at integrating design and life into the space.

Paige was the make-up artist for my wedding. Before my trial, I had never had anyone else do my makeup, so I was nervous. I had no reason to be; she was so easy to talk to, and a lot of fun! One of my bridesmaids had also never had her makeup professionally done, and she was also instantly put at ease. Paige did great, and everything stayed despite sweating like crazy on the dance floor!

I’ve been getting my haircut from Koy every month for about 2 years now and I genuinely can say he’s the best barber I’ve ever had. You can’t teach passion and Koy is definitely passionate about what he does. Down to earth guy and super funny. I love their new spot too. Also, ignore anyone that didn’t put 5 stars. They need to stop crying. I was late 10 minutes before which was my fault and they never banned me. They would not ban you unless it’s for a legit reason.
Came in today and wasn't sure about getting my haircut because I'm picky about who touches my hair but decided to give this place a shot and I'm glad I did. Comfortable seating in the waiting area. We had an appointment and I think they are recommended. I'm not sure they take walk-ins. I had a lot of hair cut off going from long hair to a shorter style. I basically just said make it look good and I have had lots of compliments on the new style so I think it worked. No complaints. Staff was friendly and personable. I'll probably be back.

I am impressed with my entire experience. I have had acrylic nails on and off for decades and i would say a simple classic french manicure is nothing new to me but my acrylic nail fill and french manicure looks amazing. My acrylic is layered thin so my nails actually feel like my nails and they look realistic. Very beautiful. The nail salon was neat and sanitary and the customer service is excellent. Lou at Lando in Champaign in the nicest guy in the world. Back when I was a poor undergrad Air Force ROTC student, he would a great job of cutting my hair and always say at the end “that’ll fool ‘em.” I grew up in a small town where my family cut my hair and I never realized until later that I should have been tipping poor Lou. He was so friendly and outgoing that I still remember him so today reached out to find that he’s still there after 45 years, and as kind as ever. I wanted to send him his back tips but he laughed and said not to so I’m writing this instead. Thanks, Lou!

She is really nice. I got my wax here every month. The brazilian only hurts at the first time but after you will get used to it. The hair wont grow fast as shaving. The eyebrow threading comes free with the full brazilian wax. And she also gives $5 discount if pay in cash. The only place I go

Toni is absolutely amazing! When I first walked into her studio I was blown away at just how beautiful and creative her studio looked. I hired Toni originally just for my bridal makeup but at my consultation Toni informed me that my skin was extremely dehydrated and wasn't holding my makeup very well. She recommended that I either try a facial or switch my skin care products. I chose to start with a hydrating facial. When I went in for my facial it was the most relaxing experience. All of Toni's products smell so wonderful and felt even better on my skin. Toni explained what she is doing every step of the way. I highly recommend Toni for all your skin care and makeup/ Glam needs. She is extremely skilled, patient, and kind.

Water was pouring through the ceiling fan in our ground floor restroom, and we were clueless as to its origin. Jonah made a visit to our home in Champaign and in no time at all, he pinpointed the leak in the hot water pipeline leading to our upper level. We're still amazed at how quickly he identified the issue. This was our second encounter with Jonah in charge and his professionalism, knowledge, precision, and speed never cease to impress! It's always a delight to have him over. Yet again, exceptional PLUMBING WORK, we can't thank you enough!

I contacted Schoonover per the recommondation of another local company who was not able to clear a blockage. I left a message with an employee and received a phone call back in 20 minutes and was able to schedule an appointment for the following morning. They ended up calling me back and were able to come immediately. From my first phone call, to them leaving was a hour and a half. Matt and James were amazing. They were able to find the clean out trap immediately (the other company said I didn't have one) and fixed the problem quickly. I will definitely be saving their information for any other plumbing issues.

I'm a renter who had several electrical issues pop up at once & the management company we lease through put Landgraver Services on the job. Landgraver called immediately and scheduled a next day appointment. The technician sent, Clay, was excellent. He was prompt, personable, and skilled at his job. Minor tasks, like replacing a broken light switch, were done instantly. Larger tasks, like tracing the cause of a dead outdoor outlet, were done methodically and logically, resulting in a fast, reliable fix. That matters a lot when I'm taking leave to be home for the repair; I got back to work way sooner than I expected to that day. I'm very satisfied with the experience and confident in the safety of home thanks to Clay from Landgraver Electrical Services.

Sarah, as always, led her team today in providing simply outstanding service at the Virginia Theatre.
She and her staff did an incredible job in the space of about two hours as the theatre was transitioning between two big events (a touring concert and a local wedding) -- and after the concert event left the theatre completely trashed last night, with confetti all over the main floor, in the orchestra pit, on the stage, etc., along with numerous soda spills, messy dressing rooms, leftover catering in the green room, and filthy floors and bathrooms front-of-house.
Sarah and her staff got us back to “neutral state” in record time so we could move on to the next event.
We really appreciate her friendly, excellent service!!

I recently had new LVP (Karndean Van Gogh Country Oak) installed in over 70% of my home by Carpet Master Carpet One and I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. I contacted them through the website to set up a measuring appointment for an estimate. Jason came the following week and was the consummate professional from the beginning of the appointment through the end. He was also very responsive to a few other questions I had before, during and even after the job was complete. Shortly thereafter, I had their estimate as well as two others. One of the three was so high, it was immediately eliminated. The two remaining (CMCO & another flooring store) had very different sq footage amounts so I ended up measuring the areas myself and found CMCO to be the correct one. With that trust established, they were selected to do the job. Originally, I was told it would take 3-5 days. I dreaded having the house tore up for that long but when install day arrived, they sent out 2 crews and the job was completed in just one long day (10-11 hours)! It was amazing how well they all worked together, and the floor looked absolutely beautiful when they left. In addition, they did all the heavy lifting so all I had to do was clear off all the knickknacks and unhook the electronics. They put everything back exactly where I wanted it when they were done. When they say they are a family company, they aren't lying; 3 of the 7 or so crewmembers were the owner's (Heather's) sons, and all of the crew was polite, considerate and respectful. Heather even stopped by and dropped one of her sons off and checked to make sure everything was going well during the installation. I highly recommend them for any flooring job and in fact, plan on having them back to do my two remaining bathroom floors:-)

I needed a new fridge and was looking for a certain one they had one I wanted in champaign and brought it to decatur and delivered it all in one day. Great people to work with and super nice. If your looking for just about anything give them a look they may have it.
Earlier this year, my roof was badly damaged by storms. I reached out to Central Roofing, and Derrick came out to assess the situation. He took the time, well into the evening, to walk me through everything in detail. It honestly felt like a free seminar on roofing and home insurance. We ended up chatting until 10 p.m., and his knowledge and patience were incredible.
Derrick helped us navigate the insurance process and worked with the adjusters to get the roof covered. Although we still had to pay out of pocket, he made sure everything was done properly. The roof installation was largely smooth, with one minor issue: a ridge vent where the crew forgot to cut open the underlayment. Derrick didn’t cut corners: he ordered fresh materials and had the entire ridge vent reinstalled correctly.
Thanks to his dedication, my roof is now in excellent condition and built to last for decades. Highly recommend Derrick and Central Roofing for anyone looking for quality work and real customer care.

I've always been wary of painters, since it's difficult to determine quality before embarking on a project. There's nothing more upsetting than seeing a poor paint job on the walls of your home. A neighbor recommended Precision Painting. It's been a dozen years since we painted the interior so there was a lot of work to do, including nail pops along outside walls from siding installation several years ago.
Precision Painting lives up to its name. Its three person crew was skilled and diligent in their work. They spent a great deal of time getting things just right, including removing a cottage cheese ceiling in the kitchen and totally hiding holes where light fixtures once hung. The interior walls of our home have never looked better. Also, the crew was very pleasant as well as respectful of us, our dog and our property.
I am very happy to have purchased a home from Ironwood. Both Doug and Lance are very patient and helpful which is valuable for first time home owners like me. Highly recommended.

Jon was AMAZING, and our backyard has been transformed from a dog-centric wasteland to a place for entertaining and relaxation. Jon is an artist who has great ideas about how to transform your space into something functional AND beautiful. He is a perfectionist with an eye for the small details. He is also extremely patient; our ideas and goals developed over the course of the project. He was flexible and always contributed great ideas and feedback based on his many years of experience. Working with Jon was the highlight of our summer-- not only because we have enjoyed our new outdoor space but also because we truly enjoyed spending time with him. I can't imagine there is anyone else in town that can match his quality of work and his eye for design. I would not hesitate to hire him again...and will be doing so next year when we tackle the front yard.

These guys are the amazing!The business owner and all his crew are exceptionally hard working. They installed my in ground sprinkler system. They told me outright that they have never done a full installation before, and had only serviced them. But there's something very genuine about Randall. And being in the service industry often doing things the first time, and having talked to them, I was ready to take my chances. And I'm glad I did. Not only were they exceptionally attentive to detail, but are also very research oriented. They clearly spent more time drawing and conceptualizing the plan than I had imagined. But you'll see why at the end product.Now I don't break my back moving my sprinkler heads and infact for the fun of it, play around with alexa (smart home automation) to turn my sprinklers on and off. I drove hours to see Dr. White in Champaign, and it was absolutely worth it. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. The office is modern and spotless, with a calming atmosphere that helped melt away any nerves. There's even a children's play area that is adjacent to the operatories.
Dr. White was able to fit me into his schedule last minute, listened to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and was incredibly gentle and thorough. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical excellence with genuine care, but that’s exactly what I experienced here.

Dr. Hawa extracted 8 teeth from my upper jaw and did so expertly, that afterwards I felt little to no pain. Amazing dentistry! She fitted me with an upper denture and it is wonderful. I am very pleased that I decided to let Dr. Hawa give me a new set of teeth.
Everyone here is so nice! This is a modern, top-notch practice. They even do some orthodontics. It's very convient not to have to go out of town for braces.
My son goes to the dentist here, but this was my first visit. I had a dental emergency and they were able to get me in within a matter of days. They were kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. And eventhough my issue was totally due to my own negligence with my oral care, I was not made to feel ashamed or embarrassed and that helps a lot.

Fantastic Dr with healing hands. He recommends/offers use of a TENS to get your muscles warmed/loosened before the adjustment, it feels a little weird but is super effective.
Dr. Melby has helped me with serious back and neck pain periodically for the past 17 years. It’s a process, but offers longer lasting relief and is noninvasive. The staff is always courteous and helpful, whether trying to work with insurance companies or scheduling appointments with your time considerations in mind. I’d certainly give my highest recommendations to Dr. Melby and his staff.

This is a positive review. I recently visited Rosemary’s Spa and asked for 1hour massage. I made the appointment earlier in the day and upon arrival I was greeted by a young Asain woman who called herself Yoyo. She led me to a very clean room and left as I prepared for my massage. She returned a few minutes later and I was waiting on the massage table. She asked if I liked firm or medium massage and began my massage. Her strength far exceeded my expectations. She manipulated my sore spots and showed special attention to my neck and shoulders. Her technique was very relaxing, firm yet comfortable. She continued down to the glutes and legs. Surprisingly how much the lower part of the body responds to a good massage. Onto the flip and continued with a very good scalp massage and then working the arms and pecs. The hour session went by too rapidly. I could have used another hour to be pampered into this state of relaxation. At the end she offered me a refreshing cool bottle of water. I tipped her accordingly and left. Overall the experience was extremely enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you Yoyo I hope to see you again soon.

Thanks to Ivy Rehab Mettler Center's physical therapist Matthew Gordon's expertise I recently had a great trip to Spain where I walked daily over 15,000 steps. I have had a long term balance /gait issue causing hip, knee, foot pain limiting exercise and walking - Matt zeroed in on factors contributing and is helping me correct with in office and home exercises that I was able to utilize in preparation and when i traveled.
This team takes their time to help each person! You aren’t rushed in and out the door. Not only can you get an adjustment but also you are given some exercises to improve the area you are having difficulty with. Both husband and wife have excellent training, experience, professionalism and a desire to help you!
Dr. Ge has helped my husband when meds and physical therapy hasn't. We will continue going to him. I suggest if you have any pain and are tired of going to Drs, make an appointment. You won't regret it!!
