I went to Dr. Ramsay's office for many years when I lived in Champaign, from ~2010-2017. I always appreciated how punctually and efficiently the office was run, and how easy it was to schedule an appointment.Often you don't fully appreciate a place until time passes and you've had different experiences. Dr. Ramsay did a great job on my fillings as none of them have needed to be redone or replaced with crowns in the past ~10 years. (I can't say the same for the dentist I saw in college -- I ended up needing almost all of his fillings redone just a few years later.) After I wrote my review, I got a phone call from a lady from the Dentist's office. She told me that she had recently taken charge of the front office and the incident happened before she joined. She had checked the records and confirmed that my description of the events was indeed correct. She repeatedly and sincerely apologized for the mistake. She promised that she would contact the collector agency to fix the mess. A few weeks later, I got a letter from the collection agency that they have been contacted by the Dentist's office and they are going to withdraw the report against me.
