Jenny is absolutely amazing! I actually wandered in by accident — I thought it was a nail salon — but when I saw the press-on nail display, I stopped dead in my tracks. As a heavyset, middle-aged woman, my first thought was, “Is there anything here for me?”
I have very thin, oily nails, which means regular polish barely lasts two or three days, and gel manicures are uncomfortable because the buffing and soaking process causes heat on my nail bed. So I’ve always been skeptical — but I decided to ask about wide nail choices.
I’m so glad I did. Jenny has an incredible selection, and more importantly, she gave me her time and attention. I felt genuinely seen, not like I had wandered into a store that wasn’t meant for me- this store is inclusive to everyone on all sizes and ages. The shop is clean, the staff is kind, and this is absolutely not just for little girls’ nail parties — it’s for us grown women who want something fun and different too.

I’ve come here twice after a long lapse, one about 5 years and the other about a year and a half. Had terrible experiences with the dentist in the past, put it off because of the fear. Dr Choi has basically cured my dental phobia. Every time I’ve gone has been painless, nonjudgmental, welcoming. Very fair approach to billing and insurance stuff in my experience too. If you’re freaked out by the dentist but looking for one to go to, absolutely go here.

Their espresso drinks in general are always good but I was really impressed with my recent visit and trying the pistachio milk latte. I was a bit hesitant to switch it up but I was pleasantly surprised at the smooth and creamy texture it added to my drink. It honestly has been the closest to whole milk that I've had at a cafe and I definitely recommend it. Love that there is always plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and the service is great along with the coffee art!

After years and years of going to places that just get you in and out super quick so they can move on to the next guy it was refreshing to come to Rabi's. I've been going to modern nails multiple times and these reviews do not match my experience. Everyone is so kind and understanding and does a great job even when I do a walk in. I bite my nails and there's no hate or judgement. I've been for pedicures, manicures, dip, and acrylic. Tammy is such a sweet person, and always does nails so fast and sufficient. Today I had a pedicure and they helped me with a painful ingrown toenail, my little sister got a manicure and they were super gentle with her and made her feel very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend this place. Definitely found my go to nail place!

I have been going to Eligant Nails in Danville for 5 years. My experience has always been wonderful! The ladies that work there are very detailed, friendly, and on point with my Jel Manicure and Pedicures. I usually have them do nail art from a picture I've found off the internet, and my nails at completion look exactly like the photo! Try out their massages while you are there. Fantastic!

Amy Silva was the most incredible hairstylist on my wedding day! I went through two different hair salons and three wedding hair trials before working with Amy at Ciao Babe. My cousin who got her prom hair and wedding hair done by Amy suggested that I have a hair trial with her. I shared my Pinterest photos with Amy and within minutes she captured my wedding hair vision and quickly put together different hairstyles. Amy also created flawless hairstyles for all six of my bridesmaids and they were each impressed by her beautiful work. I was told from previous hair salons that for a large party of bridesmaids I needed two hairstylists, but Amy did everyone's hair perfectly and finished early! Our hairstyles also stayed together throughout the entire wedding day and night. Amy also permed my mother's hair the wedding and my mother was thrilled to find that after 20+ years of perms, this was the best perm she has ever had. I am forever grateful to look back in my wedding pictures and see Amy's amazing work.

I’ve been a Kiki customer for many many years. My stylist in the past was always Kiki but due to a move and working from home I started to go to the Blackhawk location instead. This is where I met Simran. I fell in love with how she did my eyebrows so I’ve continued to go to her ever since. When she started working more in the Danville location, I followed her there as well. She listens and understands my needs but I also understand that every once in a while if a hair or two is taken out it’s not a big deal, hair grows back. Nonetheless, she is well experienced. Trust me, I have tried A LOT of eyebrow places and Kiki’s doesn’t disappoint. Simran is very sweet, accommodating, and the next best stylist after Kiki herself. That’s saying a lot! I've been going to Northern Roots Salon since day one, and I've been with Danielle for over a decade... so at this point, they're basically responsible for my personality and my hair!
How do I put it: I don't just go here for my hair. I go here for the vibes, the therapy, and the glow-up.
The second you walk in, Gale greets you like the big sis you didn't know you needed... warm, caring, making sure you're fed, hydrated, and thriving. It's giving home, but make it chic.
Then there's the experience. A blowout or head massage from DJ? I'm sorry, but that's spiritual reset. Book it. Don't ask questions.
The team here is elite. Nicole and Kylie are your built-in hype squad and voice of reason. Want to go bold? They'll hype you. About to make a questionable life choice? They will absolutely (and lovingly) intervene. I trust them with my hair, and honestly, some life decisions.
And now... Danielle. My queen. My ride or die. The woman has never had a bad day in her life (or at least not one she's ever shown). She's always upbeat, always happy to see you, and somehow makes every appointment feel like the highlight of your week.
But here's what really sets her apart: she shows up. My schedule is chaotic at best, and she has bent over backwards to accommodate it - late appointments, last-minute changes, you name it. Never once has she been anything less than gracious, professional, and kind.
Also, she will NOT let you ruin your own life. Case in point: the time I thought I wanted bangs. Immediately humbled. Immediately saved. She knows what works for me better than I do, and I trust her completely.
Bottom line: Northern Roots isn't just a salon, it's an experience. You walk in stressed and walk out like you have your life together (even if you don't).
Only downside? Parking can be a little chaotic peak hours (downtown Danville problems).
Pro tip: circle around and park in the back like a seasoned regular.

Monica is literally a genius. She not only has helped me get into the best shape of my life with encouragement on diet and fitness and of course with her body contour wood therapy and red light therapy but she has also helped me with fitness when I had no idea where to start, encouraged me to drink water and mentally with her readings and leading me in the right direction personally and career wise. My water bill was extremely high this month and I had no idea why. I called pg&e and they said I had a water leak somewhere in my house. After calling around I decided on USA leak detector because they were able to get me an appointment the same day. They were able to pin point exactly where I had a leak. Steve was able to come out and fix my problem in 20 minutes which end up saving me a lot of money. He was extremely knowledgeable and didnt mind providing insight. I highly suggest them for fast and efficient work I’ll be calling USA leak detector for all my plumbing needs!

I have had Tree Wise cut down 7 big trees in the last 2 years and they have done an excellent job. However, I only recommend that you have Marco cut the trunk of the tree because he is the most skilled at doing the job. The first time another man cut the trucks of 2 of the 4 trees removed and I was not satisfied. He did not them as close to the ground as Marco. I will be calling them again next year for another job and will request that only Marco cut the trucks of the tree to be remove.
This is the second year we’ve used Terry’s tree service and they did a fabulous job! We have a 1 acre parcel with a ton of oak trees that have been neglected. Last year, we focused on safety of our house / wildfire risk. This year we focused on removing an old tree that split in half due to sudden oak death years ago as well as pruning other trees for improved growth and shaping. They had the old tree out in a couple of hours - so fast! It rained during half of the shift and the team did not let up. Amazing work ethic and professionalism. Will only work with them moving forward!!

I am someone who has had a lifelong fear of the dentist. That is a fear that has almost entirely been alleviated in the years I’ve been going to the Diablo Dental Group. They have one of the kindest and most accommodating staffs you could ask for, and they have put in some serious work on my teeth with no judgement. I have previously been very self conscious about my smile, and now I don’t feel like I have to catch myself when I laugh too hard.
In my standard visit there’s usually three people I interact with, and I would say they make me look forward to my visits. Everyone on staff is clearly a hard worker determined on making your experience as positive as possible, but I would like to take a moment to shout out these three in particular. The receptionist, Lena, is always there to greet you with a warm welcome. She offers a first impression that lets you know every part of your visit will be handled with care and quality. Dr. Lim is my primary dentist, and she is a professional in the truest sense of the word. She is thorough in her work and explanations, making sure you understand every step of your care and that you are comfortable during any procedure or visit. Her and her staff have my full trust, and my utmost gratitude. Last but not least is Irina, who is the dental assistant that I typically interact with the most in any given visit. She is one of the kindest souls I have met, and she is also extremely understanding of the fact that I jump a little every time she moves the seat (I did mention I had ALMOST completely gotten over my fears). We usually have a good laugh over that or something else, and in those interactions it is clear to me she cares deeply about her job and making sure those under her care feel safe and comfortable. She is a shining example of Diablo Dental Group’s stellar work ethic and overall commitment to their clientele.

Recently had my first appointment and it was a fantastic experience. I was blown away by the care, expertise, and professionalism of every staff member (felt welcomed and encouraged throughout the entire appointment), appreciated the way they prioritized my comfort and understanding of each aspect of the appointment, and was impressed by the advanced technology used in the office. I learned a lot and feel confident I'm in very good hands going forward when it comes to my dental health. Totally recommend.
I’ve come here twice after a long lapse, one about 5 years and the other about a year and a half. Had terrible experiences with the dentist in the past, put it off because of the fear. Dr Choi has basically cured my dental phobia. Every time I’ve gone has been painless, nonjudgmental, welcoming. Very fair approach to billing and insurance stuff in my experience too. If you’re freaked out by the dentist but looking for one to go to, absolutely go here.

At 66 years old and visiting many dentists over the years, I can confidently say that Dr. Melanie Koehler is the BEST! She is the kindest and most caring dentist I’ve ever been to. Her work is superb and meticulously detailed in perfection. What makes her spectacular is that she treats you like a family member. Always cheering you on through procedures which cracks me up … haha! And always makes sure there’s no pain and gives you enough Novocain to get there. Her motto is they’ll be no pain here in my office :)
I chipped a few of my teeth and I was able to make a last minute appointment with Dr. Joey. He is as good as it gets. I had a total of 8 chipped teeth with some being very severe, and I walked out of there perfect as can be. He was quick and decisive with is work. I definitely recommend Dr. Joey!

Dr. Pontious has been a key part of my health maintenance routine for more than three years. Doc Pontious is very attentive to his patients' needs and customizes procedures to their comfort level. I went in with a stiff neck that just wouldnt loosen up no matter what I tried. They listened to me describe where it hurt and actually seemed to understand whats going on. The adjustment was quick but really effective, I felt the tension release right away. Had some follow up advice on stretches to do at home which I actualy started doing a little bit. Place was busy but they kept things on time so I wasnt sitting around. Definately worth going back if you have a similar issue, it made a big difference.
I went to Brielle for the first time on Saturday and I’m honestly blown away. She adjusted me perfectly; gentle but strong, precise, and intuitive to what my body needed. She used laser therapy as well.
Her space is the cutest with plants, natural light, peaceful energy, and best of all her tiny dog walking on you during the session ☺️ best experience ever.

I really appreciate that they focus on getting you fixed instead of keeping you coming back unnecessarily. Once you’re better, you’re done. If I could give a million stars I would! We were referred to Dr.Ko after finding out our baby had a tongue tie at 2 months. We started with a chiropractor in Walnut Creek who way oversold to us after seeing 2-3 times a week for a month wanted us to go to physical therapy because we were having no progress. The first visit with Dr.Ko I could tell the difference in experiences and care we were going to get! My son was very tight on one side leaving him curved to one side and limited mobility to turning his neck to both sides. We also suffered a bunch with gas pain. Dr.Ko was amazing with my son. Within the first appointment we noticed results. After his first appointment he had more mobility in his neck and also in the curvature of his muscles in his spine. My son loves Dr.Ko! We continued to see Dr.Ko after his tongue tie release anytime we noticed anything out of the norm and could always see results! We will continue to see her as long as she's in practice! She's the baby whisperer! Her front desk staff is always so happy and nice when arriving!
I can't say enough about the amazing staff and Dr. Mahsa! She has been a key resource to my family in terms of healing from injuries, detoxing and maintaining wellness on our journey to better health. Dr Kwoleck is so experienced. She in 20 years has not caused me any pain. She is so nice gentle and genuinely caring. I ve gone to her even when I had a tick bite. She knew what antibiotic to give me. I have total confidence in her abilities and advice.. she is a well rounded derm. Her office is efficient and well run.

Best results I’ve gotten from any other experience! I went in for an anti-aging treatment. My main issue has always been dark spots on my face—I’ve even been turned away by a Kaiser dermatologist! This is the first time I’ve seen results and it was instant! Moreover, she has educated me on how to continue to lighten my dark spots. My jaw area had also been tightened. I don’t have the photos to share but she does take a before and after photo for you to see. I wholeheartedly recommend satisfying your curiosity!
CB Fit in Danville is hands down one of my favorite places to work out! The studio offers an amazing variety — from Lagree machines and climbers to weights — every session keeps your body engaged and challenged. The Lagree workouts especially target toning the abs and legs, and depending on the class you choose, you’ll get a perfect mix of cardio and strength training.
Every class pushes me to my limits in the best way possible, and the sense of accomplishment after each session is unbeatable. I also love the upbeat music playlists — they keep the energy high and the motivation flowing (no boring tracks that put you to sleep!).
My only wish is that there were more CB Fit locations so I wouldn’t have to drive out of my way, but honestly, it’s totally worth the trip. A fun, fulfilling, and challenging workout experience every single time!

Jip and Jang are masters of their craft. As an athlete, I am very hard on my body. I can always count on Vana Vari to work out those stubborn muscle knots and restore my flexibility! I recommend their 2-hour Swedish session. It sounds like a lot, but 2 hours is ideal. There's no rushing and it allows them to really dial into the tough spots. I also like their deep tissue every now again - it really helps when working back from an injury.
Wendy and the coaching hypnotherapy has done more for myself than any other therapy session has done in the past. It gets down to the root of your problems and where you are holding them within your body/fascia. If you’re open to anything I say give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Wendy is a great conduit to guide you on this journey.
