I highly recommend Spruce Acupuncture in Danville - Sharon thoroughly interviews you prior to every session to gain insight as to treatment. She stays focused, which is very calming to someone in pain. Rather than going from patient to patient, you are her priority... she listens, takes notes and always remembers what techniques she has used previously. I've had acupuncture many times over the years and I've never come across a practitioner as caring and effective as Sharon.

I recently went to see Sharon to resolve a back strain I sustained while playing golf, and being over-zealous at the gym too soon. As a Doctor of Acupuncture and owner of a sports med clinic across the bay, I hold high standards when looking for another physician to work on me. I'm a total needle-phobe and I still get squeamish about points I know are sensitive, but Sharon has great technique and I honestly didn't feel any pain, at the same points a dozen other acupuncturists failed me on. Sharon has a thoughtful and great approach to patient care. She has treated my 14 year-old son for many months and after arguing with ineffective western alternatives, he constantly asks to go back to see her because he can tell her treatments are helping. We are thankful to have her open her new acupuncture practice in Danville after her relocation from San Francisco.
