“We recently completed a landscaping project that included a new front lawn, a backyard fire pit and fire ring, an expanded planting area, and new irrigation in both the front and back yards.

Overall, we are happy with the finished project. The fire pit and planting area turned out beautifully, and the lawn looks great. There were a few dead spots in the new grass, but the team returned and repaired them.

There were a couple of details that did not fully meet our expectations. We had a propane box installed to supply the fire pit, and we were disappointed with the cover, which was made from only two large standard tiles and does not look as finished as we had hoped. We were also surprised that much of the irrigation system was installed using flexible tubing rather than Schedule 40 pipe that was trenched and buried. Since much of the tubing is covered only by bark, we are concerned it could be damaged as people walk through the area.

That said, Nick did a good job helping us plan the project and was very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns. Despite a few areas that could have been handled differently, we are pleased with the overall outcome.“

“We worked with Landscape Experts Inc (LEI) to revitalize our wild yard, cutting back swaths of overgrowth and transforming it with a variety of beautiful California native plants and nine fruit trees. They also carved out a lovely hillside with custom stairs, a spacious terrace, and game trails perfect for enjoying the view. LEI works with YesPlease.Garden (YPG) who managed the design process and Fresh Coat Restoration who completed the new fence. The partnerships were well integrated and it felt like working with a single team. See my Google Maps review for more on YPG. We are very happy with our project and would recommend LEI because they were professional, courteous, reliable, and provided clear and upfront pricing. Documenting decisions in writing proved helpful for keeping everyone on the same page. Any problems we had were resolved fairly, such as correcting the direction of our stairs. Aaron is a man of his word but prefers to conduct most of his business through texting. We first contacted LEI and they promptly scheduled a time to visit our property with YPG to see what was possible within the budget we set out. We completed the design with YPG and LEI scheduled a time for the project demolition. A later approximate time for planting was set, but that was dependent on the availability of the various plants we had selected. Everything scoped in the design was completed within the budget and any add-ons we later requested were priced separately and fairly.“

“5 stars all the way! We've used Hansen on two projects now, and it certainly won't be our last. They do top tier work, and also make it easy on you.

Our recent project was a complete overhaul of our front and side yard, and we really didn't know what we wanted since we were working with a blank slate (tearing out old Juniper). We met with Louis for the initial consultation and really just shared ideas of what we had in mind (some boulders, plants/trees, lighting, new stairs, etc.). He, Jack, and the team really brought it to life by designing it from scratch (using ideas and preferences we shared) and then working with us throughout the project to make sure everything was installed to our preference. We made a few tweaks along the way (swapping out tree preferences, picking stone colors, etc.), but they easily accommodated and also helped guide us when we weren't quite sure what we wanted.

They're also punctual/show up on time, clean up after themselves, communicate daily, and even finished the project early! We anticipated a 4-5 week project but they busted it out in the month of February and even had a few days rained out.

We have zero complaints and can't wait to bring the team back for future projects. I highly recommend Hansen Landscape to anyone looking to do a big (or small) landscape project.“

“We wanted to freshen up our existing landscaping which was okay but needed some more color and dimension. Joel came to our house to see what we had, asked us what we had in mind and made suggestions. Joel suggested that we go to Devil Mountain Nursery to look for things we liked. Devil Mountain has an overwhelming selection of plants and trees so we walked around and took pictures of things we liked and sent them to Joel. Joel came back to our house to go over what we would remove, what we would add and placement. Joel incorporated our choices, made recommendations and placed things where they would best grow. Joel and his crew did a great job trimming and pruning our existing landscaping that we kept and installing all of the new plants including a new lawn.“
