As a medical massage therapist, my own self care is incredibly important. I need to take care of my body so I can continue to take care of my patients, and with the work I do, overuse and cranky tissue are pretty much part of the job.

I searched for a long time for an acupuncturist who had more of a sports and injury focus and really understood musculoskeletal issues. I had a hard time finding someone who could specifically target what was going on in my body until I found Derby.

I have been going to Derby on and off since 2021. Initially, it was for back and leg pain, but my most recent experiences have been for pre- and postnatal care. During my pregnancy, I went in for hip and back relief, which kept me moving, especially towards the end of my term. Now, I am going to her for scar therapy following my C-section. Her dry needling work has done wonders to break down the scar tissue. I highly recommend her!

Acupuncture with Derby has really helped my chronic headaches / migraines. Dr. Derby takes the time to get to know you and what your challenges and goals are with treatment. The office staff is welcoming, and the space is calm and clean. I highly recommend!
