They were prompt, communicative, and did an excellent job on what was a terrible looking backyard of just weeds. We just recently purchased a house in the West Adams area and needed some help to create a backyard for not only us but our two dogs. Armando came to give us an estimate and was able to start within days of the estimate but finished the yard in two days! Myself and my husband could not have been happier. They also hauled away some extra shrubs and mulch that we had accumulated without any fuss or extra charges. I can't recommend him and his team more. I promise you, you won't regret it.“

“We were doing a partial bathroom renovation, replacing tile, painting, replacing the vanity, pretty straightforward. I had met with four other contractors at this point, and the estimates were VASTLY spread out, and many were vague or just a lump sum estimate without scope of work details. Then came Daniel and SafeSide. He listened to what we wanted, and even made suggestions that saved us money. His estimate was very well priced, and listed each element we spoke about in detail. We immediately felt comfortable with him and his crew. They worked very clean, protecting surfaces and keeping supplies organized by the end of each day. “I've worked with many contractors before, but Lior is hands down one of the best. I'm extremely detail-oriented and have minor OCD to the point where I am usually the one that is telling contractors how I want things done, but I quickly realized that Lior is the same way- in the best way possible. He is the type of person that remembers every single thing that has been discussed with him down to the smallest detail, and that is very rare for contractors. He has an incredible eye for design and gave me great suggestions on different options we could move forward with for our project. “We first hired Steve and crew to replace a fence on the side of our house, and get rid of a planter and pour concrete to increase the size of the driveway. One of Steve's employees/subcontractors named Dean did the work. He did an amazing job. Super detail oriented, and organized throughout the job. It pretty much came out perfect.Since we were so impressed with this job, we hired Steve again to do some concrete and stucco repair work on the house then paint the exterior. Our house had many cracks, so it was a decent sized job. There were some issues with the visibility of the crack repairs, so Steve came in and redid the stucco on large portions of the house at no cost to us. We were very impressed by this responsiveness. The house looks great now, and the price was also really good.We plan to hire Steve and co again for future projects.Services: General construction“

“I hired HIC Builders, general contractors, for a backyard landscaping project about a year ago. Abraham and the HIC team did a great job. When I needed my roof replaced due to some serious termite damage, I went to the company's website and was pleased to see they also had roofing services. The house has a Spanish-style tile roof which required a bit more expertise to remove the tiles so that all of them wouldn't have to be replaced. I worked with Abraham again on this project. He was very professional and answered all my questions regarding the materials to be used and the re-roofing process. He also helped to coordinate the timing of the roof repairs with the terminate fumigation company to minimize additional damage to the roof. The only issue was a little delay in getting the crew back after the fumigation and the final site cleanup but everything was all completed. Although I won't know the effectiveness of the roof repairs until it rains this winter, I was very pleased to work with Abraham and the HIC team again.“
