There was an issue with the metallic gel peeling, I contacted them and Elina responded QUICK and helped to rectify the problem. The customer service was wonderful.

Total transparency: I work for Sunrise Dermatology in the Mohs department, which is in the same building as The Sole Med Spa. I have had several skin peels and laser hair removals here and have always been extremely happy with both the services and the people. I started going to this salon because I called every salon in Mobile (that wasn't a chain like super cuts) to find the cheapest dry cut available, but I found much more than that. Justin goes above and beyond every time to make sure he knows exactly what I want, and continues to ask questions throughout the service to make sure I feel comfortable. I always leave with my hair looking exactly how I wanted it! Super kind guy and full of knowledge. The amount of assistance my daughter recieved from Merissa was on point. My daughter has curly hair which can be complicated but Merissa was precise and descriptive on what could enhance my daughters curls. The cut and style she receives from Merissa is ON point. WOW! In almost 20 years of living here in Mobile, I finally found a barber that I REALLY like. This is not a "salon" or one of those places full of 20 year old girls. These barbers are real MEN, just like I like. Dean cut my hair and he did a jam up job. I am planning on making these guys, especially Dean, my permanent barbers. It's also right next to the place where I get my oil changes so I am going to get my oil changed and, while I'm waiting, I'll get a haircut. Two birds with one stone! Alright!!

Great place to get a new look or refresh a classic style. Erin is a wonderful stylist and can really help you make your dream hair a reality. The only stylist I ever go to for everything from new color to highlights to color correction or a fresh cut. All the stylists there are kind and very helpful when making a decision about your hair. They do excellent spray tans too. If you visit Southern Glow you won't be disappointed.

Sarah Anne is the best at what she does and she is so down to earth. She is genuine and talented. I have highlights, lowlights, base breaks, Brazilian Blowouts and hair cuts with her. She responds on text promptly and makes her own appointments.

Dulcimer is great, I always go with her and she always makes sure I’m comfortable, she asks about the wax temperature if it’s too hot for me or if I’m good. Last time I went I brought my baby and she was getting cranky and Dulcinea was making sure to sing to her and distract her a little until we were able to finish. 1000% recommend!

Being a cosmetologist that just movies her herself, I was wary of find a new place. She listened to all my concerns about my hair and did a great consultation. She applied exactly what we spoke about. The color turned out stunning ! I’m also very picky with my cut and it was exactly how I explained it to her (I know I’m not easy). Definitely stop by there this is a hidden gem!

I had an outside water leak over my sidewalk. The water company does not repair leaks , so I was frantic - as it is a holiday week. Yikes! I looked on YELP and saw Ellison plumbing's great Yelp reviews. Blake Ellison was very prompt in picking up his phone and sent Philip Walker out to fix the leak in no time, at a fair price. I was highly impressed with Philip and the repair. I would not hesitate to call Blake Ellison for my plumbing needs again.

I called and spoke with Misty and she was quite friendly and informative and got a technician to our rescue in about 45 minutes, he took care of everything, had their water back on and running in no time. Had an issue with a washing machine backing up into my new home. I called and Brandon showed up the same day. He trouble shot for about 30 mins and finally isolated the problem. He gave me instructions on how to solve the issues myself and told me to call him if I had any issues. Then he tried to leave without accepting a payment! I had to force him to take money for at least a service call! He saved me hundreds of dollars with other services and didn’t want to charge me anything because I was going to do the work myself. This gentleman is a rare find, a good person, and is truly a master at his trade. I can’t recommend him enough!

I have dealt with many electricians in the past, some of whom attempted to cheat me. South Alabama Electric has always been professional, honest, and competent.

Had an issue with my GFCI outlet and they weren't able to come out immediately, however they helped me resolve the issue over phone/text ultimatum saving me money. A lot of places wouldn't do this but they did, won't call anyone else when the next issue comes up.

After several years of consideration, we finally moved forward with building a home. We were the first to build one of their new plans and we love it, and have received several compliments. I especially loved that it is a semi-custom process and they let you add your own touches as needed. We made two minor changes - making the laundry room larger and omitting a half bath we didn't need. We also went from a single front door to a double. Their homes are build to Fortified Standards which are wind and hurricane resistant, increase the homes value by up to 7%, and save up to 55% on your annual insurance premium.
Dennis rebuilt our house after a fire! He did an excellent job. We are pleased.. I had a couple of small issues and he fixed them in a very timely manner. He suggested some things that has made my life easier because I am handicapped. He is a good man!

We recently had the pleasure of building an in ground gunite pool with Blue Haven Pools in Fairhope, Alabama. We met with associate Laura Adams, who was knowledgeable and professional. Once onboard, we made our tile, paver and color selections and began construction officially on May 20. We were told that we should have water in our pool within 8-10 weeks. Both Richard, district manager, and Kenny Chambers, our job supervisor, were great to work with and they were always accessible and courteous. The crews showed up early and worked hard. Always on time and in the final analysis, Blue Haven, Kenny Chambers, and associates, exceeded our expectations. We had water in our pool within 8 weeks to the day. The finished product is awesome and both my wife Donna, and I would recommend them as top notch! This is our 4th pool construction and it is by far the smoothest one yet. I'm very happy with my decision to switch my pest control to Wayne's & I've always been happy with the termite protection service they provide. We needed a termite contract/bond because the one that came with our home lapsed erroneously—we blamed the company they blamed us kind-of-thing—and we weren’t satisfied with them anyway. We made the appointment and the technician, Clay, came on the day/time we requested. He was very polite, calling ahead of time and confirming the address, then he arrived 15 minutes later. After the inspection, he presented us with our options and gave a lot of background info about the how/why/what regarding the work to be performed as well as the cost. He also shared detailed info about the species that’s so problematic in the region (Formosan termite) and laid out a timeline including what he’d do that day and about future annual inspections. The pricing was reasonable, and the explanations went a long way in making us confident about signing our contract. We’ve both lain awake at night for a year because we didn’t have a termite contract, but now we do, and we’re pleased with our selecting Havard. No, we haven’t had annual service yet, so my review is based solely on today’s work performed and detailed product and “potential threats”information. But that meant a great deal to us, and we’re very pleased with Havard so far. So this review is more designed to help someone make a decision when presented with a host of options, just as we were.

He, and his staff, have been wonderful in caring for me, and Dr. Norstedt is an awesome dentist. Dr. Mike and his team are a caring group of professionals. From the moment you walk in the front door, you will be greeted and welcomed. Services go beyond the typical adjustment. There is a focus on overall health and wellbeing that sets this practice apart. I appreciate the fact that x-rays are part of the care plan. If you have some health concerns, Dr. Mike will help you get to the root of the cause. In my own situation, he was happy to review some lab work that I had done and made some solid recommendations. I strongly recommend this practice.

I have never been to a chiropractor before but the staff and Dr Jeff was so knowledgeable and nice. They helped me try to feel better and really put forth the effort to explain to me what was going wrong and what would help me get back to optimal condition. I will be back for all of my chiropractic needs.
I have been seeing Dr. Bishop here and there for over 20 years. He is very knowledgable and has treated me, my husband, and many of his family. Most of us have issues with the neck, back, feet, shoulders and so on. Some issues get fixed and we no longer have to go, others need maintenance here and there and if we did something that might have knocked us out. That happens with me and my neck which causes headaches. He puts it back and I am usually good to go that day or the next.
Dr. Youngblood is great! I’ve had both adjustments & acupuncture & they have both been super helpful! Everyone is very nice also.

I've had 3 cats see Dr. Lisa for their annual physicals. She and her staff show great empathy to all the animals I see there. My former neighbors surprised me one day when they brought their dog in, and they agree. One of these cats died due to a tumor growing in her lower GI, and Dr. Lisa took great care of her. She passed away at home with her humans at her side. The other two are tomcats, a year apart, and Dr. Lisa was very informative on how to introduce them. Highly recommend!

And to top it off, they have some of the best, most fair prices of any vet we’ve been to. They take their time with you, and really seem to care about the animals. I should have posted this before now, but we had our puppy boarded here, from August 2– August 11. Our puppy received much TLC from the staff. Some sweet soul on the staff sent me regular pictures of our pup, because she knew how much I didn’t want to leave him. Upon pick up he was his usual happy, charming little self, no visible problems, no wt loss, looked great. They took very good care of our boy. I highly recommend the boarding offered here.
We have a sugar glider and there are only a few vets in town that will see him. I've tried them all and trust me, Barry Skyline is the absolute best! The level of care and attention is unbeatable. Just 1 visit and you'll be able to see just how much they truly do care.
My 4lbs Yorkie Yola is a patient. Dr Jordon and his staff have taken good care of her. Dr Jordan performed surgery on her last year fixing an hernia. March 6 2024 Yola was stung by a bee. Within ten minutes she was unconscious. I was broken and desperately needed help. The staff and Dr Jordan stopped everything to save Yola. I’m sooo appreciative. The Small Animal Clinic is our forever veterinarian. ❤️
THE BEST!!! University Animal Clinic became my go to after I had to find a New Vet ASAP after the sudden loss of my Best Friend bc the Vet I used at the time, insisted she remain for “24 hour overnight observation”, after performing an unnecessary major surgery. I didn’t know to even question that 24 hour observation was NOT EXACTLY THAT -24 hours- she had been left with no one there from 4:00am -> 7:30am, (over 3 1/2 hours ALONE)….where she passed away, alone in a cold awful place she HATED. They called when “they said they checked and she was doing well recovering, but when someone was physically back to open at 7:30am …they found her and she was just gone- and were baffled”…WELL, despite a NICE EXTERIOR, this was unfathomable…THAT is not 24 HOUR OBSERVATION!!!! I immediately reached out and overwhelmingly was referred to University Animal Clinic, and initially scared to just trust again, but have found a straight shooter Animal Hospital that have TRUSTWORTHY DR’s and Amazing Staff. No hoops, no unnecessary upselling, and provides options, explains why reasons/opinions so as to make informed decisions. And that was over 14 years ago. They recently gave me several amazing weeks longer w/my fur baby that passed just passed away at 16 1/2 years old AT home, surrounded w/her family, when she had a stroke in 9/25/24 and we took her there, and believed it was her final ride and she would not be returning home. Instead, his almost immediate Dx and HONEST OPINION, was the best thing that I could have asked for. She was better than she’d been in a long time, until it was simply her time. But hands down, he gave enough information that went weeks further than anyone expected, and kept us from having to make the worst decision ever THAT DAY, and she did amazing, all things, and her age. But a steroid shot, some basic medicine, and pointing out she was alert, so why not give her a couple days and then see how she was…HE WAS RIGHT! And as Wrecked as I am that she passed away this week, I’m so grateful, he shared his honest opinion, and I had more time with MARKED improvement almost immediately, and I didn’t just blindly give up on her.
Highly recommend University Animal Clinic. They are by far the best, and have been taking care of my almost 14 year other FurBaby, since. Far beyond years we could imagine she’d still be around esp considering the very rough start she had starting w/a believed hopeless chance of surviving her birth.
They care, they provide options (not just one thought that have proven others so wrong, so many times, and immediately clearing out your bank account feeling there’s no other options at a life …and quality life to boot.) things happen but just accepting the only way, is not how it is, as so many vets over my years have been.
THANK YALL!!! I’m so sad, but SO GRATEFUL FOR the many times they have provided info verses telling me only one option, when there are others and providing the reasons behind them. The others (and sometimes there is only one way) but many have simply provided one solution as “options” and that’s literally NOT THE DEFINITION. This is BY FAR the BEST grooming place ever! I wish I could give 100 stars! My fur baby, Chevy, had a very bad grooming experience, and after that I was so scared to bring him to anyone else. Someone told me about this place, and I was put at ease of bringing him here just by talking to the girl on the phone. She was so sweet, calm, and answered all my questions. This place is so different than other groomers we have been to. They allow the dogs to run around and play with each other - getting used to the space before being groomed and I LOVE that! This is what my baby needed! The groomers were very loving and patient with Chevy - which is all he needed in the first place. Everyone was sweet and kind - overall a very happy place to be. (Oh, and of course a 10/10 on the grooming! Chevy looks and feels AMAZING!) Again, I wish I could give 100 stars. This is now my fav place! If you have any concerns, put them to rest by bringing your fur baby to The Dog Shop!

From the moment you walk through the door until the day you graduate you are made to feel like an extension of family. They do not overbook and if we ever had to wait it was not longer than 5 minutes. Every employee there has their own special qualities and they are highly qualified and professional.
