I actually got more than 10 quotes for a new A/C and furnace, and Brian, one of the owners, was one of only a handful who came out with a reasonable and competitive quote.
I had quite a few questions and, honestly, some nervousness about certain things, not being familiar with the York brand, for example. Brian was incredibly responsive and put my mind at ease. He even offered an amazing deal on the 10-year labor warranty (rather than the standard 2 years) and gave me a great discount for paying cash.
Then the crew showed up, and they were absolutely fabulous. Dustee and Kadin were professional, friendly, and patient with all of my questions. I realllly appreciated how much time Dustee took paying attention to the details (such as firming up the cabinet that furnace would have to sit in) and the aesthetics of all the wires, pipes, etc.
Dustee also shared a wonderful story about how he started working for Brian 17 years ago. Hearing that really said something about the kind of company this is and the relationships they’ve built over the years.
From the initial quote to the installation, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This is about as good as it gets when it comes to a local, “mom-and-pop” company. I’m genuinely impressed and would absolutely recommend Home Energy Group to anyone looking for HVAC work.
