Our AC unit stopped blowing cold air during a heat wave. I called everyone, but no one wanted to drop their weekend to handle our problem. I contacted Sam on a Saturday; he answered his phone when he didn’t have to, came to my house, and fixed the issue. Sam is very knowledgeable and respectful. I recommend him to everyone.
I cannot recommend Sammy and Pacific Peak Mechanical highly enough. My heat pump suffered a severe compressor burnout right as we hit a brutal stretch of 100-degree days. The first company I called tried to pressure me into a $13,500 total system replacement, and another gave an incomplete, questionable repair quote.
Sammy was recommended by a trusted local builder that I’ve done business with for over 15 years, and he offered a fair, transparent price to replace the compressor and properly flush the contaminated lines (that wasn’t done properly with three previous system replacements). Sam did a fantastic job and super quick. Called him when my aunts A/C stopped working and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He answered right away, no waiting around for days like you get with some places. He clearly knew what he was doing. Very honest. He explained exactly what was going on, didn't try to upsell me or push repairs I didn't need, and was straight with me the whole time. That kind of trustworthiness is hard to find these days. Highly recommend if you want someone reliable. Will definitely be calling again for my HVAC needs.
