Capitol Peds is the best! We LOVE Dr. Pryzbylo! She came to the hospital the day our son was born (she actually taught my husband how to change a diaper that day!) and we have been seeing her ever since. She is also a lactation consultant and helped me so much in a non-judgmental and gentle way during the early breastfeeding days. She takes the time to listen to all of your questions and concerns and we never feel rushed. We have worked with every provider and they’re all great - we are on our second baby now and have such comfort knowing we are always in good hands!

On my recent visit, I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted. I came in with photos of caramel, copper, and honey blond balayage. I was honest and communicated that I was ready for a bigger change with money pieces and framing layers. Be sure to bring photos of what you like because she can recreate it. I asked her opinion because I really trust this woman. I absolutely loved the final result. I've been wanting to do something that looked different from my normal look and she gave me the helpful push. I also have never had such easy conversation with a hair stylist in my life. I've gone to her one other time in the past and also loved what I got done. Katie is incredible and I highly recommend doing balayage with her.

Shona did a really miraculous job fixing a very botched haircut, by another stylist....omg, thank goodness she really listened and could see how messed up my hair was. She took her time and could see I was traumatized. She turned it into a beautiful thing. I received many compliments. I'm her client for life now. Cannot thank her enough or sing higher praises. I love going to this place for my haircut. I am a regular now so I no longer need to request my cut. I have tried a few different cuts but always come back to the high fade, hard part. They offer several services, shave, shampoo, etc., but I can spoke for those. Service is always great, but as with everything nowadays the price seems to a bit high, but that is America in todays world.

Have had three different nail techs within the four times I’ve been here. Each time, the work was great and the technicians were professional and personable, taking their time to do careful and beautiful nails. I got basic natural pedicure with gel polish that easily lasts me about a month, no chip or color fade.

Went here for the first time today because the original place I was going to did not take walk ins. They were friendly as soon as I walked in and assured me that they would be with me shortly. Just about 10-15 minutes later, Brian came and started working on my nails. I had expressed to him that I would like to get a dip manicure but was wondering if there’s a way for them to not lift so soon as, especially from the top of the nail. He knew exactly what I was talking about. He then explained to me that it is because my nail beds are not flat and that if nail techs are not careful it is made too thick and therefore would lift easier. He also explained that it makes a big difference how you prep the nails. After explaining all of this, he assured me that he is being very careful and talked me through every step of what he was doing to ensure that I knew he always doing everything he could to avoid easy lifting. This was the best experience I’ve had at a nail salon and the best dip I’ve had. I kept telling him that my nails felt very light and natural as opposed to heavy and obvious that I had dip on. The shape of my nails are exactly what I wanted! Very very happy with this once and is will definitely be my go to spot from now on. Definitely the BEST place for Dip nails. Brian is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
Update: been back to this place three times since My first post and it just hasn’t been the same. Although they have been really nice I just haven’t gotten the same experience since the first time. My last experience was this afternoon. I went in with my friend and waited a little longer than usual (40 minutes) But then that was made up by how quickly they were able to get my nails done. I chose to pretty much get the same exact style and color. I even pulled up the photo from my first visit to show them that this is what I really wanted. I got something similar with almost the exact same color and then a little chrome over top of it to add a little sparkle/shimmer. Although I didn’t LOVE the Nails like I did the first time, I still felt pretty good about it. But then what kind of made me second guess was when I checked out, I was charged almost more than $20 over what I usually pay for at this same place. Normally, for this exact same Dip style with the same color they charge $45-50 before tip. Today I was charged $65 before tip. Initially, I didn’t think much of it because I thought that maybe they Charged extra for the little bit of chrome that I asked for on top. But then, after speaking to a couple friends who go to a different salons, they all said that is usually little to no additional cost at all to add chrome. So I’m a bit confused on the pricing. It would help if they had pricing listed somewhere so this doesn’t happen. They do have pricings listed for pedicures which is great so there’s not confusion or guessing. I did not think to ask and confirm. Because again I have been there multiple times before, and the pricing has always been consistent. Just a bit disappointed because I love this place and how they were the only place that could do my nails the way that I love and that lasted three months without lifting. It’s still a really great place and the staff is pretty friendly and nice. Just make sure to clarify the prices before you do anything to avoid my same experience.
Ann, at Jade Nails does an amazing job! I had her do an ombre nail color on Friday and had surgery on Monday. Every nurse that helped me that day (there were 5) commented on how beautiful they were. It has now been 7 days and they still look fabulous!

I found WaxCraft online when I first moved to the area and have not looked back since. Erica is an AMAZING waxer. Not only is she super thorough but she uses wax that is agreeable with my sensitive skin. Shes also super personable and the space is always clean with a cozy vibe. I drive almost 40 minutes to get waxed by her but it is so worth it every single time.

I don't know what you're looking for when you're searching for a plumber, but whatever it is, you can rest assured that Beck Taylor Plumbing will take care of your needs. I stumbled across them as they were being highly recommended on "Nextdoor" and placed a call for them to come out and quote me on a sink/faucet, water heater installation/repair and two external hose connectors. What I will tell you is that I'll never go with another plumber again! Why? ...because they were "fair priced", knowledgeable, professional, courteous, local, timely, licensed/certified and more. So, do yourself a favor, at least give them a call ...and I'm sure that you'll be well pleased and satisfied in doing so!

The job was to replace and modernize the service panel. Matt the owner is very professional and a good and prompt communicator. His techs were professional and courteous, doing a great job for the most part and Matt went behind to tie up loose ends. They did leave a little bit of a mess behind (and so did Dominion) but I'm happy to run the shop vac if you can keep the cost down.
Speaking of cost, the difference between M.E. and one of his competitors is that the cost to replace the service cable and weather head was factored out of his quote. In other words, the other company was going to make me pay for work that Dominion did at their own expense. To the tune of $800. Even if Dominion decided not to do that part of the work, Matt's quote came in under by $800. So thanks for saving me $1600.

We recently had Quality Remodeling remodel a shower stall and half-bath.We are very happy with their quality of workmanship and hands-on guidance.We had some woodwork in the half-bath that we wanted to salvage, but it was questionable that it could be salvaged. Their technicians were very careful and were able to leave it in its original condition.We highly recommend Quality Remodeling for all your restoration needs.
We have used SR Majewski for several projects. On out last home he added a 16x 20 addition to our home, he rebuilt out family room when an attic ac unit leaked through the ceiling, his team also repaired several rooms in our basement after a sump failed. We like his work so much that when we decided to build a new home Steve was the first call we made. Steve and his team turned this wooded lot into a beautiful home. There were no surprises during the build that were not fully communicated before anything was changed. He honored all quotes, met all time lines and finished the house right on time. The only issue is you may have to wait a bit before he gets started on your project only because his work his top notch, he stands behind what he does, he is honest, dependable and easy to deal with. I don't think we will ever move again as he built exactly what we wanted and was very patient with us as we made changes during the build. If it added a cost he created a change order and once signed he made it happen. All this to say should we have a need or decide to build he will be the first call. We have recommended Steve to our friends and family and now they are all believers in SR Majewski.

We’ve been using Sunny Day for about a year now; they are doing all the grass treatments, seedings, and aerating- and doing it well at a reasonable price! They do not do our mowing, but do our neighbors. They also did some brush removal and backyard landscaping which was done very well. I’d recommend them 100% to anyone. The owner is a really nice person who did our estimate on both jobs. His wife works in the office and has always been there to help if needed.

My family and I have been clients for a few years, but we truly had an outstanding visit this past week when I had to come in for my regular 6-month cleaning. I had called the day before to cancel because I wasn’t able to get a sitter for my two very young children. The office manager was so kind, insisting I keep the appointment and that the staff would look out for them. At first I resisted, simply because they are really little and can be a handful. But I soon relented and arrived the next day with my 1 & 4 year olds in tow. The entire staff ooo’ed and aww’ed at them, saying “oh they are just angels!” the whole time. And honestly, they were very well behaved (they save all the mischief for us at home!). But my point is, the staff was as extremely kind; offering to help a busy mom and just performing a kind deed to a person—expecting nothing in return. I love the staff, the clinic is always spotless, their dental work is great — we are definitely lifers. And I will be dropping the kids off for daycare with them on a regular basis now ? juuuust kidding! Highly recommend!

Finally followed Dr. Sparks to Midlothian Family Dentistry and I'm so glad I did! Convenient location, cozy lobby, friendly staff, Kendall (hygienist) was amazing and of course Dr. Sparks was as friendly and thorough as usual. I like the 3-D scanner and I also was offered a fluoride treatment (which I haven't had in years). My insurance doesn't cover that but I went ahead and did it anyway. AND I could get an appointment in 6 months! Thank you!
Everyone is always so friendly and helpful at this office. Dr Brandon Wong is just wonderful. I highly recommend him!! I have a very complicated medical history and an extremely painful nerve condition (RSD/CRPS) that affects my face, as well as my entire body. I needed an extraction and implant, even though he was more than capable of doing it, he sent me to a specialist who would be better equipped to handle any potential complications. I did have some complications months later because of my RSD/CRPS so Dr Wong had to remove the crown and leave it off for several months. He checked on me during that time and told me to keep him posted. He was just so very kind and empathetic, as always. He put the crown back on today, fingers crossed!

I'd had leg pain since March and after working with the staff at Active Recovery and Performance since July, am able to live pain-free again. The team there is so knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough in their assessment and treatment, that I feel they've made it possible to live an active life again. Dr. D’Souza is truly a gifted chiropractor with healing hands. I recently went to Dr. D’Souza for an excruciating neck pain and upper back that happened during a trip. He took his time to listen to me and carefully tailored my treatments accordingly. He explained me very well about the different muscle groups responsible and told me how he will work with each muscle to bring fast relief to my neck and upper back. He explained everything he’s going to do before he did it; he even told me what to expect each time. He is very gentle and carefully worked around the pain to avoid making it more painful. He used the cold laser red light therapy which significantly reduced the swelling first.
As a result, I felt a great relief immediately after the first visit. By the second visit, my range of motion was signigicantly improved, by the third visit, I could turn my neck in every direction. After just one week, I was totally pain free and fully restored to this very day. DR. D’SOUZA IS TRULY THAT GOOD. Best of all, he is very affordable compare to others around town. My reg vet referred my pup to Animal Eye Care. My pup ended up having an abscess behind his eye. The infection was very bad and Dr Bosiack was great! She not only is a great specialist but she listened to me. After all who knows your dog better than you? My 9 month old Golden pup is 100% healed. We’ve been lucky enough to have this center take care of all of our four legged animals. They were instrumental in saving our abused rescue 10 years ago. Not only were they there on his intake from animal control, they were able to collect the evidence needed to prosecute his abuser and come out with a conviction. They gave him love and hope until we were able to rescue him, once his court ordeals were over. We had a rescue cat come to us with an unusual bacteria infection that took all their expertise to figure out, and ended up saving the rest of the feral colony. We’ve had a rescue got that had thyroid issues, a cat with digestive issues,a cat hit by a car, you name it and they’ve helped us every step of the way. just recently we got a HUGE puppy dropped off on our doorstep and brought him in and we were met with nothing but love and a genuine excitement to have a new animal added to their practice. This practice has been nothing but compassionate, our best and biggest advocates and part of our family. Their knowledge and advice is always on point and welcome. They never judge whatever issues we are having and work tirelessly to give all of us the best outcome. I have never been pushed to do expensive procedures or unnecessary work even when we were still trying to diagnose things. We are so very grateful for this vet and can’t imagine taking all my high maintenance animals anywhere else.

Matt Hoffman gives the best deep tissue massage around. I drive from Downtown Richmond to Hot House Midlothian for my appointments. He is very knowledgeable in sports massage and can isolate muscles that need extra attention as well as give a whole body deep tissue massage.

Had a 90 minute massage, and they were able to help me get rid of some knots on my back and my traps. It was so relaxing. I also prefer really deep pressure, which they were pretty good about. I wish it was actually deeper pressure, but I didn't ask so that was on me. Overall, amazing massage. Just a heads up, they do charge a fee for using your credit card, so I would pay with cash instead. I didn't read that anywhere on their website, so I may have missed it, and it was quite a surprise.
I had an awesome massage here. They stretched my legs and did a really good scalp massage and even massaged my ears. I always tip before the massage because I know their culture is different than ours when it comes to tipping. They set low prices and then you tip generously. It's not that big of a deal unless you're cheap. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quality massage not a cheap massage.
Lucy is absolutely amazing. Anytime I feel the stress or tension start to build I schedule an appointment. I used to feel like I could hardly move some times, but Lucy has completely changed that and my quality of life.
I came to VCSST in late May 2025 due to a bad fall where I sustained a right shoulder injury. Even though I hadn't broken anything, I did have a bad strained shoulder and knew I needed PT sooner than later. The first wonderful thing about VCSST are those two lovely ladies, Paula and Shimeka, who greet you when you come through the door. They keep all your appointments current and help you get times that work best for your schedule.Then there is the sheer beauty of this facility. When you get back to the Gym, there is a solid wall of windows that faces a lake and lots of trees. It makes working out a real pleasure.
My physical therapist was Dr. Adam Schneider. After my initial assessment, Adam developed a customized treatment plan to get me back to doing the things that I wasn't able to do at that point. Adam is incredibly knowledgeable and really listens to his patients and their concerns. When I had a problem with some of my exercises, Adam would give me another one that would accomplish the goals he had set for me, but that I could better handle. He is also very encouraging as you progress through the weeks and months. I felt that my treatment plan was evolving the whole time I was there.

I have been to some excellent Physical Therapists over the years, but not someone who focused primarily on strengthening and range of motion as it relates to golf. Andy Royal provided an excellent assessment, evaluation and PT exercises (with videos) directed towards increasing range of motion and strengthening of the lower back, hips and knees. For any golfer who has issues in these areas I highly recommend a visit to Royal Treatment!?️

I found a good place for therapy. They are helping me with my balance and standing from a sitting position etc. They gave me several different types of exercises to do. My therapist is always nearby to advise me on the correct way to do the therapy. This is an excellent place to go for anyone who needs therapy.

I was sent to Ryan and had been told by other doctors and therapists that I needed surgery and was going to be out for my entire season. With Ryan’s help, I did not have to get surgery, played all 53 games for my college, and now have made a full recovery. Without Ryan and his support, I would not be in the position I am now and my career would likely be over.

The receptionists are always very personable and attentive and every staff member ive been examined and/or treated by has been exceptional. Would definitely recommend everyone go here.
I got lucky having a small group, giving us more drive time. All the instructors and manager are great and easy to learn from and spend time with. I genuinely had a good time with the other students and instructors. The zoom class time is awful and boring. I have a feeling it’s more of an issue with corporate 160 but there was only 3 functioning trucks when I graduated (1 manual) and about 20 people to share those trucks. 160 Flint is good to learn how to drive and pass your test, but be a quick learner because classes usually get overbooked and trucks are always breaking.
Tj is awesome as a newly graduated student I believe that you can pretty much learn everything in smith system so when you are on the road you don’t face any obstacles strongly recommend!
