She is incredibly gentle and the process is as close to pain free as possible. I moved about 30 minutes away and will still travel that distance because no one is as good! I'm repeatly impressed with Monica at Skin Spirit. All of the staff is great, but I'm get whole body LHR treatment and it's so effective. Monica is great and continually checks on my treatment and during treatment cares and asks about pain level. I was very skeptical at first about my skin tone and removal. Let me tell you don't believe that dark skin can't be treated. It absolutely can.

When I lived in Richmond, I traveled for my hair appointments every 6 weeks because blonde is hard to do ( and if you get highlights regularly you know the struggle). The prices here are incredibly reasonable considering DC or anywhere in NOVA for color services. Booking is a breeze, and the stylists are extremely knowledgeable and warm. I’ve been married to this salon, so much so that all of my friends AND THEIR husbands go here for a cut or some type of service.

Very calm, friendly studio. Free 2 hour parking which is always a plus. I had a nice, relaxing pedicure. It's a little pricey compared to where I generally go but I would go back if I were in the area.

Nothing but good things to say about Jimena beauty center. My mom (84) is a regular customer. She has a walker and doesn't move like she used to. Jimena and her staff are so exceedingly thoughtful and kind to her. I recently took her in on her birthday for nails, hair and facial, and they really went out of their way for her, made her feel beautiful and special, and on the way out serenaded her with the birthday song. Really a special day for her and for me. Caregiving isn't easy but days like this make it a bit easier. We of course will be back.

Had such a great experience at La Beauty Bar! I got an eyelash lift and I’m seriously obsessed with how it turned out. I have straight Asian lashes that are usually hard to lift, but this is the first place that actually made them look noticeably lifted—like I’m wearing mascara or have natural lashes lol.

Atlas general contractors refurbished my 32 year-old deck. It had a complicated pattern which I asked them to duplicate which they did perfectly. Their work was quick, their carpenters were excellent, and they cleaned up after themselves every day on the job. I have been going to Dr. DeRose for a few years to treat a sporadically recurring lower back issue. After an assessment, Q&A, he proceeds to treatment; which has been effective. Dr. D is always very personable, professional and accomodating with appointments. I recently saw him for a neck issue, as always, he was great. His handouts for at-home exercises are extremely helpful. If you are considering a chiropractor go see him; you will be pleased!

Had rotator cuff surgery followed by surgery for a staph infection in the same shoulder. PHysical Therapy has been a long process with small gains in mobility and strength - until I went to Dr. Anne. Dr. Anne took the time to listen, diagnose and then get right to work on helping improve my shoulders range of motion and strength - saw more progress in the first working with Dr. Anne then the previous month(s) with a physical therapist.
Can’t recommend Dr. Anne more highly and just annoyed I didn’t find her earlier in my PT journey.

We cannot say enough great things about Peachy Pooches! We have been bringing our two dogs here every six weeks for the past three years, and every single experience has been amazing. Our dogs always come home looking incredible. We constantly have people stop us to ask where we get them groomed. We have even had people pull over in their cars just to ask!

I started seeing Iris about halfway through my pregnancy and absolutely loved every prenatal and postpartum massage I received. These folks know their stuff. I had fallen down the stairs, and then sat in an airplane for 10 hours. The young man who massaged me was thorough and gentle.
It’s more like a stall at a Chinese market than a spa, but I enjoyed the authenticity and you can’t beat the price.

With nearly 30 years dealing with back spasms SI sessions with Jill have been life changing. Over time I have seen every type of medical professional I can think of to find a root cause and a fix - no luck there, just drugs, localized treatment then stretch & do core exercises. Thanks for Dr.Liu professional and kindly treatment. She treat my headache, anxiety ,shoulder neck pain and sleeping issues very well. She give several treatments methods including acupuncture and other traditional Chinese medicine methods in the dedicated one hour sessions. I cannot fall asleep the day before seeing her and had really exploded headaches. After her treatment I felt much relaxed and sleep improved after each session.
Excellent acupuncturist with a calm, steady approach . She is able to pinpoint the issue (tight muscles, sore back) and successfully address it. The office is pleasant. Easy parking in front of the building or close by on the street.
