“My friend recommended me to the owner Stephanie (there are 3 Stephanies here :) when I was was having a “hair EMERGENCY”! I was in desperate need of color correction. My hair had previously been over processed by another salon with products that were too harsh for my hair. Stephanie is the most experienced stylist I have ever seen and extremely knowledgeable about color and chemicals. “Really like this place- she was very nice, the place was very clean, and she clearly knew what she was doing. Minor thing for me is that she moves her fingers around very fast and that wasn't very relaxing - like she was rushing. Price was also right. I will say bc it's not in a "spa" type setting, I could hear the mailman come in and someone talking to them, I could hear the door opening and closing to the front, etc. Also detracts from the atmosphere.But generally I really liked it here and will be back - for the money it was great. My skin felt great afterwards“

“I’m sorry to see some of the comments left here. I have been coming here for years. This is my go to place when I’m in McLean and DC area. I find them to be consistent and efficient with my pedis. I don’t come for the conversation. I’m grading on the service I receive and it’s always good. Tools always sterilized. They mask. Calming music. I find it very relaxing.“
“Such a lovely nail salon! The general manager was so kind and welcoming. I got a regular manicure and the technician, Noda, was excellent. She had a lot of attention to detail and I felt that my nails were in great hands. The salon also has a relaxing vibe and such a pretty aesthetic with self-care products lining the walls. I will be back!“

“I decided to treat myself for a pedi on my birthday. It was a Thursday afternoon and surprisingly busy! I had to wait a few minutes, no big deal. This is a smaller salon so make sure you come prepared to wait if necessary. The massage chairs are excellent. Seriously I'm dreaming about coming back even though my toes are still in good shape! The service was wonderful and I will definitely be back. One tip: credit card tips are not enabled, bring cash.“

“The Kosmo Nail Bar at the Chesterbrook Mall in McLean is nice. The stuff you'd expect to see at their downtown McLean location has relocated here for a short period. Plenty of parking here with a great juice/ smoothie place nearby. Pro Tip: Make a reservation online!“
“I had a great experience at McLean nails and spa. Kay did my nails and she did an excellent job. The nails were very similar to the reference photo and I'm happy with how they turned out. She has done my nails before too and they also turned out really well. I will definitely be coming back.“

“I consistently return to this salon even thought I live in Georgetown if that says anything. The salon is clean, the people are friendly, and it has the greatest selection of regular polish colors I’ve seen at a nail salon in the DC area (this is very important to me as I like to get a dip mani and regular pedi in matching colors - nothing crazy but I think many salons have stopped stocking regular polish to force you into gel). I took off one star because my dip manis don’t last quite 2 weeks here before the gel top coat starts to peel but that is common for me.“
