Came to get a trim from Michele!! Loved this salon, co-owned by Michele and his wife Jennifer. Coming here for the first time, it seems like they have built a community of loyal customers. Feels very family oriented and very welcoming. He did an amazing job and trimming my hair to fit my facial structure. He also made the experience so fun, couldn't contain my laugh with him. If you're looking for a new salon, definitely check this place out :)
I've been going to Salon Michel for almost 20 years now! My mom brought me when I was 18 and I've been going ever since. (She is still a customer here as well). Everyone is warm and welcoming and I feel like a family member at this point after going here for so many years:) Michel is meticulous and an absolute professional at cut and color. I always look and feel great after each visit which has recently included other services (waxing and pedicures). Young is who I go to for those--best pedi! I brought my two kids here for back to school cuts. The place immediately struck me as quite outdated. They were a bit pushy and aggressive. They charged me for a full blowout for one kid when she only got it cut and wanted to leave it completely wet. I questioned them on it and they just said it's the same no matter what. I also asked To put Tip on the credit card but she was already running it, so she did a separate transaction for the tip by charging my card and handing me the cash (she decided to not even give me the full amount she charged on the card when I did the math later!!!) Pretty sure that is a business No-no to charge the tip and hand over cash. We will not be back. The cuts were absolutely nothing special and nothing more than I could have done at home with my own pair of kitchen scissors after learning a basic "Covid cut" during the pandemic.
