“I haven't been to the dentist in years because they always hurt me. My wife and kids told me I should try Dr. Ronis, but I always deferred. Then, about two weeks ago, my mouth started hurting off and on. It got to the point that it hurt so badly if felt as if my jaw and head were going to explode. I finally made an appointment to see Dr. Ronis. First of all, the really nice person at the desk, Bonnie, went out of her way to talk to the doctor and get me in to see him, since it was last minute and the holidays were approaching. They were able to get me in, and boy, was I impressed! Dr. Ronis immediately made me feel at ease, and when I described my symptoms, he turned to his longtime assistant Mary and said something like, "Sounds to me like #4." Well, they took pictures, then he tapped on my teeth and it was the one he had already diagnosed just from hearing my symptoms. He laid out what we could do. Putting in a filling wasn't an option as the decay stretched across the back side of the tooth and there were no "edges" to which the filling could be secured. One option, which I went with, was to pull the tooth. I thought, "Here comes the pain part," but it was hurting so badly I said let's do it. Well, I NEVER FELT A THING!! He put this lollypop thing in my mouth which deadened the gum enough to stick the needle in with no pain, then once I was numbed up he pulled the tooth. I could feel pressure as he worked it around, but I never felt any pain at all. Now it's the next day. Not only do I not have pain from the decayed tooth, but I don't have any from the procedure itself. And, for the first time in weeks, I slept like a baby last night. Jim Ronis earned me as a customer forever.“
