803 W Broad St Suite 340, Falls Church“I have met with John several times for various injuries and he has helped me to heal so I can get back to cycling and other activities I love doing as soon as possible. I am amazed at how quickly he can diagnose and find the problem areas - he hones right in on the sore and injured muscles. I appreciate how he takes the time to explain what he is doing, and why. I leave with a better understanding of the issue, what I can do on my own to continue treatment, how to change the habits that led to the issue in the first place, and how to create new habits to prevent it from recurring. His is approach is very complete and holistic, and I thoroughly recommend him and Focus for PT.“

I’m two months postpartum and was a little nervous going in, but Katharina made the experience so welcoming, supportive, and empowering. She was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, offering clear guidance and modifications that made me feel safe and confident in my body again. The class was challenging in the best way, and I left feeling stronger, refreshed, and excited to come back. Highly recommend—especially for postpartum moms looking to ease back into movement with an amazing instructor!“

758 Walker Rd, Great Falls“Two years ago I had reached a point in my life where I was paying way too much for a gym membersip I never used, was feeling unmotivated, and losing strength. I needed something different, so I tried out Orange Theory. As an introvert with a love-hate relationship with fitness, I was nervous, but everything about OTF reston has really helped me get into a good exercise routine again, and enjoy it too! The onbarding was simple and everyone was welcoming. The variety in workouts keep things interesting and fun, and I like how the data from the heartrate monitor can help you make the most of your workout. The biggest thing for me is the community at Reston - the coaches all have different styles but are all friendly and kind, supportive, and motivating. I've had a couple health issues and injuries over the past two years, and when challenges sometimes arose for me, someone has always gently checked on me. I also appreciate the constructive feedback around adjusting form to do exercises correctly, weight recommendations, etc. The other members are also very nice and non judgemental. Essentially, at OTF you get the benefits of a group workout while still being able to set your own pace and concentrate on your own thing. Very happy with OTF Reston and look forward to many more splat points!“

5521 Landy Ln, Bethesda“C-Unit Dance Studio has been a fantastic place for our daughter’s growth as a dancer and performer. The training is strong, the choreography is dynamic, and the instructors are both talented and deeply committed to their craft. We've seen incredible progress in her technique, confidence, and stage presence since joining.
The training is challenging and intentional, with a clear focus on helping dancers develop both technically and artistically. One of the things we appreciate most is the studio’s emphasis on true development—not just performance—encouraging dancers to dig deeper and constantly elevate their skills.
The creative direction is fresh and exciting, and the opportunities to learn from industry professionals—through classes, conventions, and competitions—have been an incredible part of the experience. This exposure has truly opened our daughter’s eyes to what’s possible in the world of dance.
C-Unit is a studio that pushes dancers to rise to the occasion—and equips them with the tools to do so. We’re proud to be part of this journey and look forward to all that’s still ahead.“

1606 20th St NW Second Floor, Washington“I’ve been going to Twist twice a week since the end of December and I love it. All of the instructors are awesome (and each has their own style) but my schedule regularly has me in Naomi and Beau’s classes on Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings. I love how laidback and relaxing the classes are while still being challenging. I leave every class feeling positive and accomplished. The other people attending classes are always so nice and fun - all around, this place has the perfect welcoming neighborhood vibe that you want. I’m so glad I found Twist and have really enjoyed the past 5 months.“

1101 S Joyce St Ste. B14, Arlington“I’ve been to quite a few Club Pilates locations across the U.S., as well as a variety of other studios, and I can confidently say this is hands down the best one I’ve ever experienced. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they truly care about the experience. The music and lighting are noticeably better than anywhere else—and that might sound small, but it makes a huge difference in how the class feels. It’s such a vibe. You actually look forward to being there. They also go above and beyond in creating a sense of community. They’re always doing fun, thoughtful things that make the studio feel “cute” in the best way and genuinely like a joyful part of your routine—not just another workout. The workouts themselves are excellent. Unlike some studios that lean too far one way or the other, this location strikes the perfect balance between getting a real, effective workout while still staying true to traditional Pilates. There’s a strong emphasis on form, and the instructors are clearly focused on helping you learn, improve, and actually do things correctly—not just rush through movements. The instructors are incredible. Most of them are truly the best I’ve ever had, and even the rest are still better than instructors at any other studio I’ve been to. That consistency is rare. The studio is always spotless, and the community is diverse and welcoming, which adds so much to the overall experience. If you’re considering Club Pilates—this is the one.“
