I recently had a broken pipe and called several plumbing companies, but this was the only team that answered right away while others took far too long to respond. Raymond arrived at my home within an hour and handled everything quickly and professionally. He was respectful of my home, worked efficiently, and clearly knew his trade. He also took time to explain what caused the pipe issue, shared helpful plumbing maintenance tips, and even provided outdoor faucet covers to help prevent future problems. The whole repair process felt smooth and stress free, and I highly recommend their plumbing service.
Mac came and did a great job on our 2 bathrooms that had small issues, but could grow into larger ones. I highly recommend this company. On time, knowledgeable and conscientious.

It was my first professional haircut since I moved to Bellmead… I had been procrastinating and my hair was very “shaggy”. When someone lets their hair get a lot longer than they normally like, it’s hard for a hair stylist to figure out what they want from just looking at their hair. My stylist was very patient and asked me a lot of questions, and showed me pictures of various styles from a magazine – and I got a hair cut that I really like!

This was my barbershop for about 10 years. All of the barbers retired, and it was closed for a while.My current barber is here temporarily, so I am back for a little while. Very nice setup. It has been updated to a more modern look.
I went in and saw Darren for the first time in a pinch and was very glad I did. He got my hair cleaned up just right and his demeanor was friendly as can be. When I am back next year I might come to town scraggly again and pop in there again.

I’m a big pedicure/manicure person but since moving to Waco from Austin I haven’t been able to find a new salon that I loved. Well, that is until I found B&J nails! Run by a husband and wife duo, they are incredibly kind, gentle, efficient, and talented! The environment is comfortable and quiet. It is true that they prefer appointments since it’s just them two who work in the salon, but that shouldn’t deter you! I can’t state enough how perfect my pedicure was (as someone with VERY sensitive feet, it was perfectly gentle and attentive) and they made sure the job was FULLY done before I left - no wet polish duck walking needed!

I am a relatively new client at Cooper and Company. I followed my pedicurist there. It is a lovely, large, salon with a boutique full of lovely things. It is open and pleasant and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I see Vanessa for my pedicures. She specializes in hard to care for feet. I have diabetic feet prone to ingrown nails and Vanessa takes those out. My feet feel so good when I leave there. The clients I see leaving the salon having had hair and/or nails done look lovely.

The head spa is top tier! I have had one other head spa in Waco and you know it just doesn’t hold a candle to the experience I had here. It was every bit of relaxing. You would be shocked that he’s an apprentice, he is kind, quick, efficient, and has a very gentle touch. Lacie is a great teacher, and the vibe is very positive with all the staff.

The piercers are fantastic and friendly, but sadly I think they're moving to a different shop, so I will probably take my business there also, but in the time I have been coming here the piercing services were great.

My apartment contracted Cano for some emergency repairs in my unit after a bunch of my large appliances inexplicably quit working, and I cannot express how great a job they did. Joshua Petty came out at about 10PM and worked tirelessly until everything was fixed, up through 2 in the morning -- and it fixed everything right up. He effortlessly found the issues my place had and replaced everything that needed replacing. Very gracious for the hard work and highly recommend!

I called OLS Electric after having some work done by a contractor who ended up damaging some cables under my home. The OLS Electric team was very prompt and listened to my wife and made her feel at ease. As it turns out, we actually had another issue besides what the contractor did. It was a very difficult problem to diagnose properly, but OLS Electric found the problem and literally saved our house from burning down (not joking, had a problem with the outside panel where the main breaker was smoldering and could catch fire at any moment). They ended up replacing the entire outside panel with name brand components and the repair costs was about half of what I expected. They will have my business moving forward.Services: General repairs

Previous owners had clearly been incompetent do-it-yourselfers. Reasonalble hourly rate, hard workers that didn't waste time, and they got me fixed up. They even allowed me to provide my own GFCI outlets which I had already purchased, planning to do it myself before finding out how much work it was :)

I panicked and I immediately called All Star Lockout. I found them on Google reviews and this was my first time using this company and let me tell you they made everything so easy for me! They were straight forward, super honest, extremely fast, and made my sister a brand new key all on the weekend. Price was extremely fair for all the hard work he did for us. If I could give him 6 Stars I would. By the way I did call another lock smith (Pop and Lock) both back to back to see who be the quickest. Even though All Star had another job in front of me. They still came to my home quicker and handed my sister the new key all in a little over a hr. Now the other locksmith barely called me asking for my services.. I will recommend this company from now on!

Jim Williams was available anytime we had a question or concern and worked with his team to remedy it. His customer service was impeccable and he even gave design suggestions and came up with creative solutions. His team was respectful and attentive as well. Tibor went above and beyond to make us happy and we are some picky folks! In the end, we have a beautiful modern bathroom renovation that we are extremely happy with! Would highly recommend them!

Carbajal Tree service did a fantastic job in removing two large dead cedar trees and pruning the remainder of our trees and it has never looked better. I highly recommend them for any tree work you might have. They are the best.
During a storm on August 4, 2025 we had a very large red oak blow over taking down our power line to the house and destroying a metal fence. I called Carbajal Tree Service and they were here within an hour and made quick work of removing the fallen oak plus two others which were severely damaged by the red oak. I can’t say enough positive comments about the skill, speed and quality of the work provided. The photos are the proof. They are the best.
I had a great experience with Excellent Prices Tree Services. Martin and his team safely did a fantastic job removing a large oak tree next to my house at a very fair price. I especially appreciated the care they took to avoid damaging my lawn, a flower garden under the tree, and an overhead power line. The cleanup was as meticulous as tree removal itself. If you need professional tree removal, trimming, or stump grinding, I highly recommend them.

Other than waiting for the doors to open at 9:00, the time of our appointment, the experience was delightful. The hygienist (Ashley) made me aware of each step as she did them. Dr. Kennedy the Dentist was thorough and informed us of needed preventive and necessary additional dental needs.
Hadn’t been in here in couple of years. Switched back over from another dental office (had bad experience with the dentist). The hygienist and Dr Gehring heard whats going on. Im very grateful that he found the root of the problem. Also listened to what I needed to do on my end to making sure taking care of my teeth better. I highly recommend them to anyone out there.

I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. McMullen, and I recommend him highly. His adjustments are gentle, effective and very personalized to your needs. He asks questions and actively listens. A painful issue with my arm, from shoulder blade to fingertips brought me into his practice. I had marked improvement after one adjustment, becoming better with each visit. Really kind people. It’s always so stressful having a pet in an emergency situation. Our toy poodle was attacked and the vet was super careful and communicated each decision. It’s always pricey, it’s always after hours and it’s never really a positive experience but a polite and honest professional really helps. So grateful!

Northside since 1992--well, my parents are still clients, but I moved out of town in 2022. It had occurred to me to leave this review now because last Tuesday, I lost my elderly tortie cat, Sally, to kidney disease, and Dr. Cox treated her for hyperthyroidism while I still lived in Waco. If you need a vet who deals with animals and their owners alike with compassion and empathy, Dr. Cox is your man.
About 10 years ago, Dr. Cox made a house call (though I don't think Northside does those anymore) to euthanize our 21-year-old kitty, Sox, who also had kidney disease. Dr. Cox was so very kind and gentle with our old guy. He injected the sedative and then asked if there was a spot in the house where Sox loved to nap. So we moved our baby to his spot by the fireplace, and we sat and stroked him and talked to him as the sedative took effect. I still remember Dr. Cox saying something to the effect that he liked to imagine a cat on drugs would envision themselves bounding through fields of catnip and chasing after squirrels. We laughed through our tears, and we knew that we had given Sox the best life possible and a peaceful end.

LAAH folks are great and very considerate. The office has a separate entrance for the pups and cats. Only place to have exotics checked out in the area and wonderful to boot!
Really have enjoyed the service here. Staff is very respectable and things are a bit more casual here. We have brought our two dogs and still need to bring the two cats. The veterinarian we see is very nice they are willing to work with our budget to help us get the most done like shots etc within our budget. Very happy here. My understanding is that they offer boarding for cats and dogs. Really friendly and respectful to us and our dogs. Really very well pleased.

I’ll be honest — I had issues with this clinic years ago, and I was very vocal about it. If you’re from the Waco area, there’s a good chance you’ve heard about it. Because of that, I spent years trying to find a vet clinic that truly felt right for me and my dogs… and after a long search, I decided to give Coltonwood another try after hearing they had new staff and new procedures in place.
I’m really glad I did.
Dr. Cooksey is absolutely amazing. I genuinely love her. She listens to my concerns, takes her time, and always gives me her honest, thoughtful opinion. I never feel rushed, brushed off, or dismissed. That alone is huge.
The staff at the Loop location is also fantastic. Chance and Alexandra at the front desk are always kind, helpful, and on top of everything, and Heather, the vet tech, is a total star. They’re efficient, friendly, and make every visit smooth and stress-free. We’re always in and out without feeling hurried, which is the perfect balance.
Are they pricey? Well… aren’t they all? ? But the level of care, professionalism, and peace of mind I get here makes it worth it.
If you had a past experience like mine and have been hesitant to return, I can honestly say — give them another chance. The difference is real, and I’m grateful I did.
Amber loves our dogs just as much as we do, she truly treats them like her own! Her work on our long haired pups is always amazing, and she takes the time to communicate with us about our preferred style or any changes needed due to matting or knots. She cares for all four of our dogs, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her. In short: amazing human, amazing work! ?

Heather did a great job grooming our little chihuahua. We are very happy with the results. She's also the only nearby place I could find that just does nail trims only. Everybody else will only do it with their $90 blow/dry/pamper/spa package and is 3 weeks out to book. Most of the time, we just want the nails trimmed, and soon! Many thanks, Heather!

I was in Waco for a few days so purchased a three class package. What a great experience! The studio set up beautifully - clean, light, and plenty of space between reformers. Stacy is an excellent instructor- great cues, steady pace and the program had plenty of variety. Highly recommend!
Rae Snyder’s Infinity Pilates is & has been many good things for me. I joined the class about a year ago, primarily to regain strength after a long list of difficult circumstances. Rae doesn’t waste “time” which is important to all of us these days. She also somehow manages to see every move each of her “students” make, gently correcting as necessary. The studio is well-equipped for working most any & every area of the body. I’m in my seventies age-wise & will continue “minding Rae” at Infinity Pilates for the foreseeable future.
With the large array of classes available including weekends and the teachers are all excellent and give personal care
10/10 beyond amazing, even fell asleep during it and body feels so rejuvenated. Recommend to everyone!!!

4.5 stars, but I rounded up, since Google doesn’t do partial stars. This review is for an online driving safety course (defensive driving).
Pros:
*I found the interface more functional than other online driving schools I used in the past. It was easy to complete the course, and content was mostly clear.
*They said I’d receive my certificate by email within two business - in reality, they emailed it the following morning, which was really helpful for me (thank you!). Bear in mind, however, that it seems like it could take longer if you complete the course on a day when they are not in the office to process the certificate.
*The final exam reflected the content well. If you pay attention, you should be fine, but be sure to read the questions carefully.
Cons:
*The content was pretty dry and often redundant. Quite a few paragraphs appeared recycled with just slight modification; some of it read like what you might expect from a teenager who was having difficulty getting their high school essay up to the required word count. Other parts were more informative, however, and the needed information was clear enough in the end.
*Although the web interface functioned well (not buggy) some parts were counterintuitive, so you might spend a little time wandering around the website wondering where your course went.
*It’s a little bit unclear where to look on their website for important information, so be sure to read all the “about” pages and FAQs carefully so you don’t miss something important.
Overall, the cons were no big deal, and this was a positive experience. If you are wanting to take a defensive driving course for an insurance discount or ticket dismissal, I would recommend xlr8.
