“There's never a good time for the furnace to break down. Luckily residential heating was available for an afternoon appointment the same day. They've always done good work and this time was no exception.

Kevin (the formen), Alan, and Ethan did a great job. They surveyed everything carefully before beginning. The new AC and A Coil were installed very carefully. The thermostat was replaced and completely setup. Overall, it was an excellent installation.
Any questions I asked were thoroughly answered.“

“Summary of long read ahead: Genz-Ryan installed superior technology that is more efficient for less money than the 1st quote I received. Highly recommended! If I had to pick one favorite aspect of is company, it's customer service! Other noteable aspects: impecable communication, photos of technicians who are coming to your home, explanations, packages and price points for all family budgets, financing. The day before my father's funeral I learned our 15 year old furnace was leaking gas and needed $2000 in repairs. Needless to say I was overwhelmed. The price rating systems don't tell me much, unless some outfit's prices are so off-the-charts they include a catered lunch. Prior to my selecting this company for equipment purchase and installation, Phil fielded numerous questions from me regarding equipment selection (furnace type, heat pump vs AC, humidifier, air purifier), pricing, warranties, rebates, etc., and was prompt and detailed in his responses. We had an amazing experience with Gopher HVAC! The owner treated us like family. We called on a cold Tuesday afternoon in December, and they sent someone out that same night!

By the next day, we had a brand-new Lennox furnace and AC unit installed. The installaters were polite, professional, and incredibly efficient. They kept everything neat and clean and worked hard to make sure we had heat that same day.

“I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I have been meaning to write this review for many months but completely forgot to. Our A/C went out in July right before a heat wave was coming. I called every local company I could think of but nobody could come out quick enough and once they heard I had a main unit in the attic, they often refused.

I received a recommendation from another company to give Southside a call. Mark picked up right away and when I described the issue, he identified the likely issue correctly over the phone and said it was unlikely a tech would have to go into the attic to fix anyway. He told me if that fixed it to give them a call and they would cancel the visit and was as able to schedule someone to come out the next day.

Dima arrived bright and early the next day and within 20-30 minutes I had a new compressor covered by my warranty. Dima gave me great advice on annual AC maintenance as well.

I will absolutely be calling them for our next Heating and Cooling issues and can't thank Mark and Dima enough - sorry the review took so long to make!“

“So had issue with furnace last two days. Called LaSalle and Charlie came out within a couple of hours (1/31/26 it was a cold one). Turns out furnace filter was clogged! Due to, wait for it, room humidifier!!! Charlie explained why and showed me the filter with the white residue. Said most owners have no idea this can happen. He was great at explaining in easy terms. He was kind enough to not charge us for the house call. I will say they have been great to with when they put in our furnace 3 years ago. Won’t go anywhere else!“
