I started coming here in October of 2024. I initially saw a provider for acne and was prescribed a retinoid for the first time with no direction. Fast forward through months of me piling this prescription on, destroying my face, and now a year later and no significant improvement. I decided to come back and try a different provider, Anna McCaughna. What a breath of fresh air. She is incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain the reasoning behind switching me to a new prescription, listened to me when I explained my concerns and provided thoughtful feedback on the current products/routine that I was using. I am truly so glad that I came back, and am now excited/hopeful that I can deal with my acne in a sustainable way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. McCAUGHNA! Not to mention that she’s also just the nicest and bubbliest professional you’ll ever meet.

I love the atmosphere here and the stylists. I personally go to Chad for my curly hair. He works with me to shape it and get it to a place I want to be, understands how curls actually work, and does an amazing job every time with it costing an arm and leg.

I’ve been going to Kylie for almost 2 years now. I started on a whim with a google search because I was not happy with my previous stylist of 4 years. My hair is the heaviest it’s been in years. Kylie does an amazing job of listening and taking all things into consideration. She makes recommendations based on what I want and what I need for my day to day. As a nurse my hair is tied up most days and I was seeing so much drama he from that. We worked out an easy plan for hair care that has helped that tons. As far as my color goes, it’s amazing! She does everything she can to make sure there no dress or damage to my hair. I get complements daily on my color. My last appointment was before Christmas and I’m still being asked if I recently got my color touched up.Her appointments are very personal and focused on you. I called to make an appointment for a spray tan and spoke with Courtney. My daughter's wedding was out-of-state so I needed to tan 5 days earlier in order to travel. Courtney advised against it as my tan would be non-existent by the wedding. I so appreciated her honesty!
She continued to inquire about the wedding destination and explained the process to me in detail and answered my questions politely and professionally. Then, on her own initiative, she offered to check the surrounding cities to see who I could go to in Wisconsin to get a spray tan - making sure to check the quality of their products and procedures - to "match" J2. She then texted me the information of two salons and texted the procedures necessary to get ready for the tan. She also cautioned me not to get talked into more than I needed to pay for and all that I would need to enjoy my daughter's wedding day. To say I am blown away by her customer service is a great understatement!!! She was so helpful, kind, amazing - all without any benefit of sale at this time. To be sure - next time I need this service in the area I will be absolutely going to J2!

I love Pacific Sun and Wellness and their focus on services in addition to tanning. The staff are amazing, always very friendly, super helpful and professional! I’d love it if they had an additional SST bed as there’s always a wait, so sometimes I am not able to use it, and that’s one of the reason reasons I recently renewed my membership.
I've been going to Simple as 1, 2 Tan for 10yrs now. I go in there to get my tan before I go to Hawaii. Mike and Kristen the owners are great people. It's family owned and operated business for the most part. All the employees are very polite. It is always very clean. The beds are great. Highly recommend Simple as 1, 2 tan if you're in need of a great tan.

My deluxe pedicure was the best pedicure I've ever had.The foot massage and hot stone massage were heavenly. I am a senior and my feet look 20 years younger.
I don't go regularly, but getting my nails done is how I kick off my long vacations. This has been the only place where my gel manicure stays rock solid for the entire duration (usually 2 weeks) and then some. Friendly owners, credit cards accepted, reasonable price since their work lasts.

Judy and Jimmy were awesome. They squeezed us in and added us last minute and saved my daughter’s nails for her first Prom. They far exceeded our expectations. Jimmy even matched and did better than the picture my daughter showed them and hand painted every detail, even though she had smaller nails. I went to Lockworx Salon for the very first time on Wednesday, and the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed. Everyone was so nice and caring. I got a wash and blow-dry from Adriana; even as simple as that, my hair has never looked better. I have to say the experience was amazing. Helle saved my entire day! I cannot recommend this place enough. I had my hair botched by a salon and I called 10+ salons in the area to save it for the wedding I’m in today. The owner Sheena called in her sister last minute to save me and she did not disappoint. With 20 years of experience on her belt she did my hair with efficiency and speed. Met my very small time frame in the pinch I was in and absolutely made me tear up with how happy I am with this look. I have been searching for a long time to find a nail salon that actually did quality work and I have found it. My only complaint is that you need to plan on being there for a good portion of your day just for a fill.
UPDATE: the owner contacted me and made this right. They gave me a complimentary massage and she was fantastic. It feels like today most company’s apologize and say too bad so sad. It was really refreshing and appreciated that they offered the mak it right.
I am very disappointed in the service I received today. When I walked in for my 10am appointment , I was told the massage therapist was not in but would be arriving in a few minutes. It was that moment I knew I was going to be stood up due to it being past my appointment time but I waited . While I understand life happens, I was assured she was spoken to that morning and was aware of our appointment. Then, they called her right in front of me and told me that she , didn’t know about the appointment. I was offered to wait an hour for her to come in to serve me. I told them no thank you and told them not to charge me and left. I will not be returning to this place again. They wasted my time and my gas to get there.

My favorite thing about tattoo shops is everyone just hanging out and chopping it up, and not only does Fish Ladder have plenty of that, they have banter in a way where you can tell they all actually like each other. Oh also my tattoo looks excellent.

If you want a professional, patient and friendly artist who pays attention to detail I highly recommend Liv. I was a walk in a few days ago. Liv took her time mapping out placement for my tattoo to ensure everything was just right. We also talked size for expectations on how it would look both now and in the future and I’m so glad I went bigger with her recommendation because of the fine detail involved. The front receptionist was also very friendly and so were the other artists on site. Pricing is also very fair. Highly recommend Ink and Needle on the south side.

Dan the Rooter Guy saved the day. He showed up on time with an advance ETA text. Our main line was clogged going into our shop's septic tank. He removed the toilet and snaked the line multiple times to get it open. He then ran a camera down it to make sure the line was OK. Thankfully he did that because he found why it was clogging. We had a 4 inch dip in the old cast iron line outside that accumulated solids and wipes that was discovered by his camera display screen and underground beeping locator. He showed exactly where to dig outside and correct the problem. If you want a clean cut honest Guy in your home that can get the work done Dan is your man! Very fair price too.
I started with a different company that could not finish the project. I waited three weeks for them to start. After assessing the problem Michigan Drain came the next day and the next day working in winter weather . Able to do laundry for first time in a month. They are so nice and professional. Their price is very fair. Could not be more pleased.

I have had a backyard drainage problem for a few years. The township and county drain commission have not really offered advice or help. These guys came out twice, did a thorough evaluation and offered multiple ways to address the problem, some of which I can address on my own. All for no cost. I am a landlord and have a bunch of houses. I have used these guys for putting in new furnaces, and water heaters. They are inexpensive and get the job done. On repairs generally they will not over charge, but are not always available 24*7. Often it is better to replace stuff than spent a lot of money on repairs. They like to be paid upfront/quickly, but you are far more likely to get a good cost on a new furnace than other contractors. Top grade people, easy to work with.

Consolidated just completed some extensive work for us and we are so happy with their service and communication! We had to relocate our meter, upgrade/relocate our panel, replace ungrounded outlets, etc. Dominic came out and had a quote back to us immediately. The team he sent out was thorough, quick, and friendly. We had one issue with a plug and Dominic had someone out within 30 minutes to fix it. He also recommended we replace our old smoke and CO detectors, which we would’ve have thought of, but are so glad we did. We just had an issue with our WH, which caused a carbon monoxide leak. We are so grateful the detectors worked and kept us safe. Can’t recommend them enough! Will be reaching out for additional work in the future.

United Electrical Contractors has performed all of my electrical work on my 1918 house since about 2018. When doing electrical work in my duplex interior, it was clear that the company excels in performing the highest quality of work. Their electricians replaced my electrical panel, installed numerous outlets and fixtures, installed dedicated circuits, electrified my kitchen in a gut redo, installed a built-in space heater, etc. Recently, I retained United to do a complete electrical job on my garage. Kevin evaluated the site, offered helpful suggestions and explanations, and supplied a quote promptly. When I was ready for the work to be done, they were able to accommodate doing so within a few days. Experienced electricians Cameron and Corey came out and demonstrated exceptional ability, as well as being a pleasure to meet with and observe. They not only ran a full circuit with wiring nine outlets, and installing an overhead light switch and motion sensor light fixture, they even noticed and cured three code violations of which I was unaware, two of which were fire hazards. Moreover, I am also impressed by the way United stands behind its work, and I know its work will pass inspection with flying colors. New to Michigan, so i was apprehensive about hiring a company that i new nothing about. I have used g&w appliance twice in the last month. Once for our dishwasher and once for our refrigerator. Less than $200 later, we have two appliances that work like new. But the best part of my experience with everyone at G & W Appliance was the absolute professionalism and decency with which they conducted themselves. Wonderful experience! Our cat spilled a 32-ounce cup of tea on our brand-new white carpet, and no matter what we tried, the stain kept coming back. Cage and another technician showed up and had the stain completely gone within 20 minutes. They were not only super knowledgeable and friendly but also went above and beyond by sharing great local tips since we’re new to the area. We’ll definitely be calling them again for any future cleaning needs.

My friend recommended Outdoor Specialties after they repaired her underground gutters. They gave the best estimate of the companies I had out and did an amazing job replacing my house's old and backed-up underground gutters. The team also cleaned up the yard really well when the job was finished. We haven't had any problems with water coming back out of the gutters and the basement has stayed dry through the last few storms.
They did a beautiful job landscaping both my front and back yards. I get tons of compliments from neighbors who are impressed with the work. I also got estimates from three different contractors and All Terra was the most economical bid. Highly recommended.

Traditional medicine didn’t help me like Dr. Sutherland did. I suffered from eczema for years and with the right supplements and eliminating certain foods, I no longer have the painful flare ups as I did before. She’s great, and I can’t recommend her enough. Great place. Very friendly staff. Extremely knowledgeable doctor. Exams are very thorough. He patiently explains all the issues, and gives you treatment options. We've been taking our cats here since 2007, and thanks to Dr. H they've all lived long, healthy lives. Note: this is a sole practitioner; hours are limited, and visits are by appointment only. There seems to be some misinformation in some of the other comments. No, they do not declaw; on the contrary, there are posters against the practice in every exam room. No, you do not have to use their website for prescriptions; I've had scrips filled all over the place with no problem. And this is a doctor's office, not a store; if you need to buy flea medicine or other goods, there's a Petco a block and a half away.

Caring staff that takes the time to answer questions and really explain about pet care, for both crisis care and general checkups. They're popular, so getting a timely appt can be difficult, but they'll call you on a cancelation list when they can. Very happy to have found this vet staff for my pets.
Wonderful groomers. Our mini labradoodle doesn’t exactly have the easiest coat to maintain but she always comes home looking great. The groomers take their time to work with the animals rather than just shaving challenges. Our dog is very happy there.
I have been going to Elegant Pooch for years. Karen is my #1 go-to groomer, but everyone here is so nice and they all really really love dogs. My havanese came here every month of her eight- year life. She crossed the rainbow bridge a few months ago. I just brought my older dog, Clover, in for the first time for a spa day. She is a lab mix and doesn’t require grooming, but loved to get a bath and all the attention. It was so nice to be back! I highly recommend Elegant Pooch, their facility is very clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and my dogs have always loved it there.

Great Lakes Barefoot Massage is a wonderful place. Shelby knows what she is doing, does it well, and keeps up on current techniques to make her practice better. It is a very comfortable setting. I'm a bigger guy with some autoimmune issues and it works very well for me.

This is my second time going here. This time I had Urvi Patel. I went there hoping to avoid a knee replacement, had already had one on my other knee. The exercises that were given to me have helped tremendously. I went from being on a cane and wearing a knee brace, to a normal life. The trick is to continue to do the exercises, which I have. Thank you Urvi for giving me back my mobility.
No only do I partner with ATI for my work, but unfortunately I sprained my ankle pretty bad and I had to do physical therapy… so I chose ATI and worked with Sam, the office was very convenient to my work and I was able to get in before work hours as well as after work hours, working with Sam and Marcie. I feel 99% better and it was just awesome working with them I would suggest this therapy office for multiple kinds of injuries or rehabilitation thanks again !
I've had the pleasure of working with Miles, Josh, Tom and Beth. I tore my patella tendon back in November, 2020 and had been very limited in my range of motion. Fast forward to March I'm actively doing yoga and climbing up flights of stairs with ease.But what has been more important to me has been their strong passion in developing me past their guidance. I did my class through zoom and I'll admit it was a little slow, but that's to be expected especially since it's not in a inn class setting, but my teacher,Mrs. Sana Palmer, did her best to make it as fun as possible! I also would say me being a new driver and not knowing any rules and regulations of what it means to be a good driver, Mrs. Palmer helped me understand that driving does require all these things, but also to not be afraid of getting behind the wheel!
