“The first house I owned, living at and trying to make it work. One day (last March ’25) the A/C unit just stopped. Didn’t know why so I gave the number a call from the card and that is where I met Tammy and Brandi. They are the front of the house and great communicators between owners of the house and their support team. I was greeted with a courteous ‘Hello what can we do for you, Sir’, I stated that my A/C unit went down. They sent a technician my way. Both Tammy and Brandi are kind, caring and make you feel at ease, they got this, and from what I can see, they do have it. They worked well for all the coordination effort needed and billing needs I had.
The technician was Diaz and he checked the unit over and found a red light on. He solved the problem quickly and efficiently. Within 30 mins we had nice, cool air blowing through the home. Ahhhhh, refreshing…..
The house I was living at didn’t work out and we had moved to a different house. I was selling the house and it failed the inspection for the A/C unit. So I reached out to Air Shield Heating and Cooling.
They sent out Carrie. When she arrived she was training someone new, Jay. Jay is off to great start and will do well as he helped the whole entire team, always busy getting things done. Carrie started inspecting the unit and then came the news of well, ‘Well Mr. Mack, you need a part as this one is 25 years old which had worn down and needs replacement’. She was kind and courteous throughout the whole process.
Meanwhile, in the second house which I’m currently living in, I scheduled a routine maintenance. Carrie and Jay were sent out for that as well. She inspected the A/C unit. She was very knowledgeable, respectful, and made me feel comfortable about the news that was about to be shared.
Well back to the story; Carrie shared that the unit could be fixed; however the cost of the parts would exceed the threshold of the units worth. I made the decision to get another unit. In our house I needed something silent, reliable, and worked well. So I went with it. No regrets at all to this day ! Thank you, Carrie ! The best part of this, they were able to install the A/C unit, the same day !
This is where I met Maykol. He was quiet, but effective, and efficient. He had a partner with him and they went to town breaking down the old unit and putting in the new unit. Maykol took the time with me to explain what was installed, what to look for and little did bits of knowledge about the system.
As Maykol was working on the unit, Carrie went the extra distance she checked the attic and found, yup, 25 year old builder grade venting. I was losing 10 degrees of cooling from one side of the house to the other. This increases your electricity bill and takes the life of your A/C unit as it is constantly trying to keep up. So I gulped and asked, how do we fix this?
Meanwhile back at the other ranch house, the part came in for it and the team sent out Austin. What can I say about Austin. He replaced the part very quickly and just like that we were up and running again. A couple weeks later though, the drain line was clogged due to I’m sure the inactivity we had when it was down during the sale and also the city water is well, very harsh for the pipes. Once again, Austin shows up, he is punctual, knowledgeable and goes to work on the unit, just like the last time we met. We carried on the conversation we started, like a couple of old friends…. Within a small amount of time, it is fixed once again. Thank you Austin !

Why wasn't the UV light still under warranty. Way overpriced. Amazon has the UV light for less than $100, so installation cost me over $600. I wouldn't think Veteran Air would rip off anyone like that, let alone a Veteran. I will probably not renew my maintenance agreement with Veteran Air.“

“Our AC stopped working about 4:00 in the afternoon. I called several places before finding AND Services that would come out the same day. Michael came to our house within 2 hours of my phone call. He was clean, polite and well versed in his knowledge of air conditioning systems. He diagnosed the issue and gave us 4 options of repair. Since the system is only 4 years old, we choose the easiest method. He also told us what to do to alleviate any future problems. He offered a yearly maintenance for a slight fee. My husband served in the military so we received a discount on our service. I highly recommend Michael if you need to service your air conditioning unit.

“6/15/22 My AC system was down and the technician, Tony, arrived in the evening when he said he would be here and immediately upon looking at the situation knew what the problem was and was able to fix it very quickly and get my air conditioning running again. I will definitely continue to use LPAC for maintenance and service work on my HVAC system.
9/19/22 Service tech Bob came to do maintenance on the system and noticed some mold growing inside the fan and recommended we install a UV light. Bob took care of that right away while he was here. We are very satisfied with the work that Lpac has done for us.
5/5/23 service tech Austin came and performed the semi annual maintenance. He was very knowledgeable and efficient.
2/12/25 service tech came to do semi-annual maintenance. Was very efficient and did a great job. We have been using LPAC for several years and are very satisfied with them. We just extended our maintenance contract for 2 more years“
