Mario and his team did such an amazing job with my dog’s grooming over the weekend. I own a rescue chow chow, Teddy, who can be difficult to handle for grooming but The Dog Man Shop has done such a great job making him as comfortable as possible. Their deshedding treatment helped to thin out Teddy’s thick undercoat and has made him so much more comfortable in the summer heat. I highly recommend their services to anyone that may have an anxious dog. They take such wonderful care of our pooch, I am so grateful for their services!

Soufis barbershop is hands down the most professional and cleanest shops I've been to in the last 10 years. Nabil has been cutting my hair since I've moved to Connecticut a couple years back and he has never failed to take care of me, or anyone that I've brought to the shop. Look no further. Whether it's Soufi, Nabil or any other member of the staff here( you will be well taken care of and not think twice about coming back! If I could give this place beyond 5 stars, I would. I moved to Stamford 3 years ago from the city and was seeking that neighborhood barber shop where you get a quality haircut at a reasonable price and feel right at home with your hair stylist. Mike is that guy! He provides more than a great haircut, he provides a welcoming experience. Mike makes you feel like you’re an old friend he has known for years or one of his close family members. We talk sports and world view, he makes you laugh- the time passes by effortlessly as you sit in his chair and he cuts your hair. Before you know it, you leave his shop with a sharp looking haircut and you may even learn a thing or two about life that you did not know 20 minutes before. I know there have been alot of unhappy reviews for this salon but I had a really great experience today! The manager was great not only on the phone when I called but in person as well. She very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and thoroughly explained all of my options. They explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel very comfortable as a first-time customer. She also clearly told me about the month to month and the policy on canceling. The salon was also super clean and welcoming. Great first experience!

The place looks a little sketchy because of the reviews but it is quite a good spot. If you what a simple gel or regular pedicure would recommend the man was very polite and professional my friend payed 25 for a regular pedicure and I payed 40 for a gel pedicure. The pedicure included 2 different kinds of massages a leg and foot scrub a hot towel and a very precise toe prep. Very nice place for someone looking for something simple. I don’t go to nail salons a lot but I will be back !!

Although it was late Sunny did my nails and took her time not rushing me providing me the best nail experience I ever had. She was so detailed and made sure my pedicure and manicure look clean and nice and turn out amazing !! Highly recommend her !! Will go to her again !!!
I am super uptight about my nails, taught myself from a young age and rarely go to salons because more often than not I feel like they aren’t as meticulous as I would be. But Veronica at Floris is *stellar*! I’m going to be asking for her going forward. (But in the past I’ve always just walked in and they have always fit me in right away, too.) From start to finish my experience today was especially amazing. I asked for gel mani and regular polish pedi, and Veronica was so detailed at every step, also asking in advance certain preferences (such as cut or just file, shape, testing the color before committing, how many coats), and making sure beds were buffed, cuticles trimmed, edges smooth, and if there were any little errors she caught them and fixed them before I myself could even notice. Even though I’m really picky about my nails it takes a lot for me to muster the courage to ask for certain stuff or question anything, but she anticipated all those things. She applied both the regular and gel polish flawlessly, carefully getting as close to the cuticle without touching and making sure the full nail was covered without getting any on my skin, wiping any away if it did before it set or cured, and being sure to line the tip of the nail too. My nails and toes were looking pretty rough today before I came in so I was feeling self conscious, but she was just focused on doing a great job with both and did exactly that without comment. Thank you so much! I was selfishly tempted not to mention her name because I don’t want her to get so busy I wouldn’t be able to work with her going forward, but it’s more important she gets the props she deserves. The salon is always clean and peaceful, and everyone is always warm and friendly. My services today were $67 total, more than worth the experience and results. 🙏⭐👏 (I’ll share the nail pics but not the pedi because of potential creeps on the internet 😅.)
In terms of self care, I don’t treat myself to much. But the one thing I do treat myself to is eyelash lifts and tints with Jill. Jill is THE best, a true master at her craft. I always get a ton of compliments on my lashes and people are shocked when I tell them I’m not wearing any make up. Since starting with Jill, my lashes have gotten super long and healthy and the lifts just keep getting better and better. I never would have gotten this look if it weren’t for Jill. She is so knowledgeable about the products she uses (all clean ones!) and how to make your look last. The last lift I got lasted 2 months before I went back to have them re-done. Sooo helpful especially for someone like myself who is constantly traveling and on the go!
I love going to Jills house for appointments. Aside from it being so relaxing, I love chatting with her about anything and everything. She is such a down to earth, real, awesome person. Additionally, her space is so cozy, welcoming, cute and clean. It feels like a spa when you walk in! Jill is also amazingly accommodating if you ever needed to bring someone along with you (like a child for example, she has a great set up with a tv in the waiting area).
Do not hesitate to try Jill for whatever your beauty needs are. Seriously, she is so good and she books up quickly!! You’ll thank me later 😏

I have been a client of Lisa’s for hair loss treatments. Since I have moved out of state I have not had any treatments. I have been in contact with Lisa and flew up to see her. She told me of all the new treatments that they have now. I had an amazing treatment today. The before and after pictures really showed how much it worked. Rare for me to write an online review but I'm very happy with the service I've gotten from High Ridge Plumbing. It was easy and straightforward process to get a new vanity and sink installed. Then I had an water heater leaking and it was replaced same day with no fuss at a reasonable price. Can't ask for better.

I had a rental house with a leak at the top of the Smart indirect water heater. Melia Plumbing went over right away and gave me a quote to replace the 16 year old unit. They were at the house at 9 AM the next day with the replacement unit. By noon they had installed the new water heater, tested it and removed the old unit. The only inconvenience to my tenant was no hot water for those three hours. An excellent job and I would recommend them for any plumbing repairs .

Sentry Electric always do professional electrical work around our house. In the past they have done everything from exterior lighting installations to our audio visual capabilities to all of the electrical wiring during our kitchen remodeling project a couple of years ago. We recently had a small electrical mishap in our home that my husband made even worse and finally I called Sentry before my husband could cause total electrical failure (not to mention the likely possibility that he would electrocute himself). Sentry answered the phone right away and was at our home within 20 minutes. They are always very friendly and patient and their electrical service is consistently done right the first time. Plus they always clean up afterwards too. This time was no different. Their electrical inspection identified the problem and thankfully they fixed it asap. The cost as usual was very reasonable; in this case for 2 hours of work. We definitely recommend these expert electrical contractors!
I just wrapped up a relatively large electrical project with R&L and I can't say enough good things about Justin. He is a true professional that takes pride in everything that he does and the job was very smooth as well as a good value for the scope of work. In a world full of contractors who overpromise and underdeliver, it was refreshing to deal with a reliable outfit and with someone who knows exactly what they're doing.

Both my fiancé and I were beyond satisfied about Bill and his services. We had a fridge that stopped working properly--the freezer and the fridge stopped pumping cold air completely out of nowhere. On Wednesday after hours, I called and left a voicemail to two places, and the next morning (Thursday), only Bill called back and left a voicemail. On that same day (Thursday), Bill came exactly at when he said he would, between 2 pm and 4 pm. In fact, he arrived at 2 pm and buzzed our condo unit to be let in as per our instructions. Since we only had one fridge, we were so grateful for his prompt responses and visits on both Thursday and Friday. During his first visit, he took a look at our fridge and ordered some parts of the same brand, and then he came back the following day (Friday) for his second visit and fixed our fridge completely. When Bill wasn't sure if the part would arrive on the following day (Friday), he promised that he would come on Saturday. My fiancé offered to pay Bill more for his Saturday visit if necessary, but he politely declined and explained that we only had one fridge rather than two or three, so he said it was unnecessary for us to pay additional charges. Very few people in this world were as honest and professional as he was these days, and we were so lucky to have him as our fridge repair man.

This was my first time using a professional rug cleaning service, and I’m really glad I chose this company. The rug I sent out is woven and fairly delicate, so I wanted it handled by people who know what they’re doing. The pickup was careful and organized, and they explained how the cleaning is done at their facility using specialized machines. When the rug came back, the texture felt balanced and natural, not stiff or overly washed. The colors were more even, and the entire piece just looked healthier. I’d definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone with a quality rug.
Once the weather warmed up, I knew I needed to send out my 4 large oriental carpets for a good rug beating and cleaning. As always, I chose Triple S in Stamford, CT. The rugs were beat to get out loose dirt, cleaned, sanitized, and dried within a week. Then they were inspected to see if any repairs were necessary. New padding was cut to fit and they were delivered this morning. The delivery men were very professional and lugged the big carpets into the house, moved the furniture and then laid the padding and carpets. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again on my antique heirloom carpets.

Otto and crew did a great job cleaning two floors of carpet in our home together with two sets of stairs. Despite our regular vacuuming there still was a significant buildup of ground in dirt and dog hair in both areas since the last cleaning three yrs ago. Our journey with Femia Landscaping began when Anthony Femia came to do a soil test required by our engineering for a pool project we were contemplating. From that initial positive experience, I reached out to Tony Femia, the owner of Femia Landscaping, to come see our property and discuss the landscaping and stonework we were contemplating with this project.
Our backyard was/is challenging due to the grading/landscape, surrounding structures and plantings that would remain, and my other garden and koi pond areas.
Previously to meeting with Tony, I met several times with the preferred landscaper of our pool company, where I didn’t get the feeling that he understood the task or was very interested in my project.
Tony and I met (several times), talked about the project, and I sensed from the beginning that, not only was he very experienced and knowledgeable about what would be needed and how to properly and effectively execute, but that he is a professional and really cares about the projects and his work product.
We have been working now with Tony and crew for several weeks - the pool is in - and now focusing on the surrounding landscaping and stonework. He and his team are excellent. Throughout the process, he very much listens to what I want to do, but also guides and advises, and delivers on, aspects of the project that I may not have considered or that unexpectedly arise during the course of the work. Tony is also very responsive- always picks up calls or quickly calls back, which is tiresome I am sure but definitely very important from a customer service and trust perspective.
We are probably only halfway into what needs to be done, and the results so far are excellent, I couldn’t be more pleased. I definitely feel we are in great hands.

Going to the Dentist is always interesting, however, SDS is great with scheduling, using communications, knowledgeable and friendly staff while being a full-service dentist office. Saying this after 9 years of utilizing their services. One added note, I hated going to the dentist for years even for a cleaning; however, SDS cracked the code on being very human/helpful/informative in this somewhat challenging process.
Another great experience! Needed a filling got called for an earlier appointment (which actually worked great for my schedule). They had me in and out. Job well done!!
I would like to give my full-throated recommendation for the doctors at Stein Dental. Having had dental challenges for decades I was finally faced with getting a permanent bridge implant. The process is expensive and takes several months from start to finish. I started with Dr. Allaeb, the oral surgeon. Honestly, he was very through in explaining the process and completing the work. After that initial procedure I received a temporary bridge that I was not happy with - the lab they were using for the prosthetics did not do a very good job. I was concerned and decided to get a second and third opinion. Both doctors I visited complemented Dr. Allaeb's work. One of the practice's offered to finish the job with the permanent bridge at more than twice the price I was quoted from Dr. Stein's office. As luck would have it, Stein's JoAnne Arnold reached out to let me know they had secured a new prosthetics lab that used 3-D scanning, and they would honor their quote to complete the project. I was skeptical but decided to give them another try - primarily due to JoAnne's kindness. I met with Dr. Daniels who brought in Felipe from the new lab and walked through the process. Let me tell you - the process and the final result was well worth it. The 3-D scanning was incredible, and the bridge fit perfectly, not one adjustment was needed. I was so surprised since the bridge had to line up perfectly with the implants. It did. The bridge looks great and feels great - like my own teeth, but much better! We were done in three weeks. The price was right but, more importantly, the final result is great. I am glad I went back to Dr. Stein's and recommend them to anyone wanting professional work, performed by a talented and caring team. My thanks to Dr. Daniels, Dr. Allaeb, Felipe and especially JoAnne for a job well done.

Dr. Rosenblitt is a great dentist-honest and reliable! He’s been my dentist for about 8 years and I’m grateful that my previous dentist recommended him to me when he moved out of state. Dr. Rosenblitt has a great relationship with his staff and I appreciate listening to them chat when I’m in the chair to distract me having work done. The office and rooms are clean and tools always come out of the sterile pouches. The hygienists have always been thorough in their cleanings. The dental work Dr. Rosenblitt performs is top notch, and he always says to me “I want it to be perfect, so if it’s not, please let me know and I’ll fix it.” That’s how it should be and that’s how Dr. Rosenblitt is! I had knee pain. The best care I have ever received for pain relief. I feel Dr Inglis cares about my health and his approach is to go to the root of the problem vs. putting a “band aid” on the issue. Also, I like the fact that he encourages non-invasive treatment first. Most doctors want to shoot you up with strong meds and injections and if that doesn’t work they want to do surgery. I like Dr Ingis’ approach. Everyone’s needs and issues are different and the key is to find a Dr who tailors the solution based on the individual. That is what Dr Inglis does.

Seeing a chiropractor improved my quality of life by reducing the back and neck pain that had been affecting my daily routine. I moved more comfortably, slept better, and felt more productive. Mario and his team did such an amazing job with my dog’s grooming over the weekend. I own a rescue chow chow, Teddy, who can be difficult to handle for grooming but The Dog Man Shop has done such a great job making him as comfortable as possible. Their deshedding treatment helped to thin out Teddy’s thick undercoat and has made him so much more comfortable in the summer heat. After years of doing Club Pilates, I discovered Maria's amazing studio in Stamford. This is the most personalized class instruction you'll ever find with a maximum of 3 people in each reformer class. She and her staff have literally transformed my body in the past few months. Maria has amazing instructors who correct my form in the most subtle ways but it makes all the difference in the results. Veronica is a great massage therapist. I suffer from sciatica and have trouble sitting (while I do work, while watching TV, while driving and sleeping). Veronica is a great therapist with excellent manual dexterity and is able to easily perform the complicated maneuvers required to hit target areas. She listens to you and makes you feel valued. After just a few massages, I notice a huge improvement. I will continue to seek massages from Veronica and recommend her to my friends and family. She is very knowledgeable and courteous. She goes above and beyond for her clients. I highly recommend her!

Ricki is very knowledgeable in her area of expertise with pregnant women. I did a prenatal massage elsewhere prior to seeing Ricki and wish I had seen Ricki sooner because her hands are magic! I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and my lower back thanks her for the relief! Every pregnant woman should experience Ricki's massages. I loved it so much I plan on returning for a postpartum massage and have my husband take her infant massage class. I highly recommend her and you won't be disappointed!
Richard is amazing! I've often dealt with a lot of pain and pulled muscles when I ramp up my running. Richard was able to assess and address my issues immediately. I am experiencing fewer and fewer issues as I weight train, run, and do yoga now thanks to his sessions and thoughtful tips. The downtown area is so lucky he's around!

i spontaneously made an appointment with no prior recommendation. as this massage spa is close to my residence i thought i would give it a try. to my surprise they exceeded my initial expectations. they are kind professional and sweet. the room is clean and cozy and warm and they are the ultimate professionals. my therapist was sophia and she asked if i liked medium or more intensity. she incorporated a bit of stretch and was very body aware. she also used a hot towel to remove the oils so i didn’t have to slip back into my clothes with oily skin. and wow! they are super affordable for the hour massage and so as i am hyper aware of the area we live in….. OVER TIP because it is still the best experience and deal around!

Do yourself a favor and go get a massage by Cindy at this place. Wow is all I can say. I wish we lived anywhere close to Stamford and could go there weekly. I have visited many upscale spas and gotten countless massages, and while they have been luxurious, relaxing and great, nobody has been so excellent as finding the exact knots and points to work on like Cindy. This was a completely random visit at a mall to a small massage place, but I left there floating and feeling so great. I hope Cindy never leaves this place and is there next time we visit Stamford. Thank you!
Found them on Groupon. Had a scalp therapy and body massage session with Annie. It was great, I was very relaxed. I even fell asleep for a second. I hope to be back.
Mick was an amazing driving instructor! He was always patient, encouraging, and made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. He explained everything clearly and never made me feel nervous or embarrassed when I made mistakes. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and wants them to become safe and confident drivers. I’m so grateful I got to learn from him and would 100% recommend Mick to anyone learning how to drive!
Working with Drivers education has been really easy. They respond really quickly and always answer all questions. My instructor Shaun has been great & extremely patient with me. He always follows up with materials I can use to improve my driving.
