What impressed me most was his attention to detail and experience—he even stacked and stored the wood exactly the way I had hoped without me having to explain it.

Mario and crew are phenomenal. I really appreciate the calm environment at the shop! The door remains closed and there’s rarely another dog in there. My dog has gone to a previous shop where it was a mad house and took three hours for a groom whereas Mario takes half the time and provides exactly what I was asking for. Also, they are so communicative!

I can always count on Diane's Doll Shoppe when seeking hard to find, and unique dolls to add to my collection. She provides excellent customer service, and is extremely knowledgable. She also has a large selection of dolls from all over the world so, it's always a challenge to leave with only one!
Jay is the best swimming Pool Water guy around. He is super friendly super nice and he actually delivers when he says he is unlike a lot of the other guys in the area. This can be extremely problematic when dealing with with $20,000 Plaster finishes. It’s beyond crazy to me that someone is not dependable when it comes down to swimming Pool Water, but if the water is not brought in a timely manner, as J does, it could be absolutely disastrous to a finish and for that, I think Mermaid Swimming Pool Water and J Morales.

Seriously talented barbers. You cannot go wrong with any of the talented individuals here. Aside from giving AMAZING cuts, I had a health issue the other day at the barbershop due to dehydration. Scary moment for me, I blacked out in the chair. The men of the barbershop rushed to get me water, set a chair outside for me, had me sit while they supervised to make sure I was OK to drive, and finally called me to make sure I got home safely! Not only is this a great place to get a haircut, but the people are beyond kind. I can’t think of a better place to give your business.

The place looks a little sketchy because of the reviews but it is quite a good spot. If you what a simple gel or regular pedicure would recommend the man was very polite and professional my friend payed 25 for a regular pedicure and I payed 40 for a gel pedicure. The pedicure included 2 different kinds of massages a leg and foot scrub a hot towel and a very precise toe prep. Very nice place for someone looking for something simple. I don’t go to nail salons a lot but I will be back !!
Hands down the best nail salon in stamford. I have been here three times so far and everytime my nails come out so gorgeous. The nail techs are really friendly. They take their time paying attention to the details and are really gentle. This last time I was there, omg I love love my nails. I don't know the name of the lady but she did an awesome job. Even my boyfriend commented on how pretty they were.

Rare for me to write an online review but I'm very happy with the service I've gotten from High Ridge Plumbing. It was easy and straightforward process to get a new vanity and sink installed. Then I had an water heater leaking and it was replaced same day with no fuss at a reasonable price. Can't ask for better.

They came to my house twice, once for a slow drain issue and once for a sewer clog issue. Both times they were quick in responding and resolved my issues beyond my satisfaction. They were courteous, honest what the work would entail, and direct. I am now considering them to be my only go to plumbers when I have an issue. Steve and his crew are wonderful. I cannot recommend them enough.
I had a rental house with a leak at the top of the Smart indirect water heater. Melia Plumbing went over right away and gave me a quote to replace the 16 year old unit. They were at the house at 9 AM the next day with the replacement unit. By noon they had installed the new water heater, tested it and removed the old unit. The only inconvenience to my tenant was no hot water for those three hours. An excellent job and I would recommend them for any plumbing repairs .
If I could give these guys 20 stars I would have. We had our double vanity clogged. The problem with those is that two sinks go to the same pipe. If the clog is in that pipe two things happen. When you run water in one sink it backs out of the other. When you try to snake it from either sink the snake goes from one sink to the other and not to the main pipe where the clog is. I tried snaking it myself. It did not work. Called our go to plumber. The guy we usually work with retired. His colleague came saying that he had done it before and should have no problem fixing it. He spent about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The noise was so loud I was afraid he was going to bust the pipes with his power auger. Still he was not able to clear it. He said he could open up the wall and get to the pipe from there. We asked him not to do it. We called around. Tony Badaracco (thank you, Tony!!!) said he could not help but Jimmy of All County should be able to. Jimmy and Henry came the next day. Spent 15 minutes. 15 minutes!!! And the clog was gone!!! No loud noise. No opening up the walls. I still cannot believe it. These guys are pros!!!

At first, I wasn’t sure about calling Stamford Plumbing after another plumber suggested them, but I’m so glad I did. The plumber who came out, Brayden, had all the right tools for the job and handled my clogged drain quickly and efficiently. They arrived within about an hour and a half, which was impressive considering I’m in Stamford. Even after the blockage cleared, Brayden went ahead and snaked the line to make sure everything was flowing properly, which gave me extra peace of mind. They were friendly, answered all my questions, and acted very professionally the whole time. I’d definitely recommend them, especially if you ever find yourself needing help after hours or in an emergency.

Sentry Electric always do professional electrical work around our house. In the past they have done everything from exterior lighting installations to our audio visual capabilities to all of the electrical wiring during our kitchen remodeling project a couple of years ago. We recently had a small electrical mishap in our home that my husband made even worse and finally I called Sentry before my husband could cause total electrical failure (not to mention the likely possibility that he would electrocute himself). Sentry answered the phone right away and was at our home within 20 minutes. They are always very friendly and patient and their electrical service is consistently done right the first time. Plus they always clean up afterwards too. This time was no different. Their electrical inspection identified the problem and thankfully they fixed it asap. The cost as usual was very reasonable; in this case for 2 hours of work. We definitely recommend these expert electrical contractors!
I just wrapped up a relatively large electrical project with R&L and I can't say enough good things about Justin. He is a true professional that takes pride in everything that he does and the job was very smooth as well as a good value for the scope of work. In a world full of contractors who overpromise and underdeliver, it was refreshing to deal with a reliable outfit and with someone who knows exactly what they're doing.
The work was very clean, high quality and everything passed the inspection with flying colors. The GM, Kelly was very responsive and easy to work with. I called Peerless Electric today to request a service call. I had never used them before but my air conditiong system was out and the AC service man told me I'd need an electrician because my wiring in the walls had apparently broken. Not only was my phone call to Peerless answered in the middle of the day by a real person, she was delightful and actually had an electrician who could come out immediately. He was here within 10 minutes of my call and really knew what he was doing. I thought my problem was going to be huge. He found the problem right away, fixed it and was on his way in half an hour. Both my fiancé and I were beyond satisfied about Bill and his services. We had a fridge that stopped working properly--the freezer and the fridge stopped pumping cold air completely out of nowhere. On Wednesday after hours, I called and left a voicemail to two places, and the next morning (Thursday), only Bill called back and left a voicemail. On that same day (Thursday), Bill came exactly at when he said he would, between 2 pm and 4 pm. In fact, he arrived at 2 pm and buzzed our condo unit to be let in as per our instructions. Since we only had one fridge, we were so grateful for his prompt responses and visits on both Thursday and Friday. During his first visit, he took a look at our fridge and ordered some parts of the same brand, and then he came back the following day (Friday) for his second visit and fixed our fridge completely. When Bill wasn't sure if the part would arrive on the following day (Friday), he promised that he would come on Saturday. My fiancé offered to pay Bill more for his Saturday visit if necessary, but he politely declined and explained that we only had one fridge rather than two or three, so he said it was unnecessary for us to pay additional charges. Very few people in this world were as honest and professional as he was these days, and we were so lucky to have him as our fridge repair man.

This was my first time using a professional rug cleaning service, and I’m really glad I chose this company. The rug I sent out is woven and fairly delicate, so I wanted it handled by people who know what they’re doing. The pickup was careful and organized, and they explained how the cleaning is done at their facility using specialized machines. When the rug came back, the texture felt balanced and natural, not stiff or overly washed. The colors were more even, and the entire piece just looked healthier. I’d definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone with a quality rug.
Once the weather warmed up, I knew I needed to send out my 4 large oriental carpets for a good rug beating and cleaning. As always, I chose Triple S in Stamford, CT. The rugs were beat to get out loose dirt, cleaned, sanitized, and dried within a week. Then they were inspected to see if any repairs were necessary. New padding was cut to fit and they were delivered this morning. The delivery men were very professional and lugged the big carpets into the house, moved the furniture and then laid the padding and carpets. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again on my antique heirloom carpets.

Our journey with Femia Landscaping began when Anthony Femia came to do a soil test required by our engineering for a pool project we were contemplating. From that initial positive experience, I reached out to Tony Femia, the owner of Femia Landscaping, to come see our property and discuss the landscaping and stonework we were contemplating with this project.
Our backyard was/is challenging due to the grading/landscape, surrounding structures and plantings that would remain, and my other garden and koi pond areas.
Previously to meeting with Tony, I met several times with the preferred landscaper of our pool company, where I didn’t get the feeling that he understood the task or was very interested in my project.
Tony and I met (several times), talked about the project, and I sensed from the beginning that, not only was he very experienced and knowledgeable about what would be needed and how to properly and effectively execute, but that he is a professional and really cares about the projects and his work product.
We have been working now with Tony and crew for several weeks - the pool is in - and now focusing on the surrounding landscaping and stonework. He and his team are excellent. Throughout the process, he very much listens to what I want to do, but also guides and advises, and delivers on, aspects of the project that I may not have considered or that unexpectedly arise during the course of the work. Tony is also very responsive- always picks up calls or quickly calls back, which is tiresome I am sure but definitely very important from a customer service and trust perspective.
We are probably only halfway into what needs to be done, and the results so far are excellent, I couldn’t be more pleased. I definitely feel we are in great hands.

Ryan and the crew were fantastic. From the first day when he came to evaluate what the problem was with the tree I was calling about, to diagnosing it and providing me with an array of options to address the issue. Unfortunately, my tree had to come down due to excessive rot. It was a tough job since they were not able to bring the truck with the bucket since the tree was in the middle of others and couldn't be reached. The crew that climbed the tree to cut it down in pieces and bring it down was very professional and careful with my property. They worked fast but safely and let my property perfectly clean of branches and debris.
I am planning on having Bartlett continue to take care of the trees in my property, hopefully needing to just maintaining them healthy!

I would like to give my full-throated recommendation for the doctors at Stein Dental. Having had dental challenges for decades I was finally faced with getting a permanent bridge implant. The process is expensive and takes several months from start to finish. I started with Dr. Allaeb, the oral surgeon. Honestly, he was very through in explaining the process and completing the work. After that initial procedure I received a temporary bridge that I was not happy with - the lab they were using for the prosthetics did not do a very good job. I was concerned and decided to get a second and third opinion. Both doctors I visited complemented Dr. Allaeb's work. One of the practice's offered to finish the job with the permanent bridge at more than twice the price I was quoted from Dr. Stein's office. As luck would have it, Stein's JoAnne Arnold reached out to let me know they had secured a new prosthetics lab that used 3-D scanning, and they would honor their quote to complete the project. I was skeptical but decided to give them another try - primarily due to JoAnne's kindness. I met with Dr. Daniels who brought in Felipe from the new lab and walked through the process. Let me tell you - the process and the final result was well worth it. The 3-D scanning was incredible, and the bridge fit perfectly, not one adjustment was needed. I was so surprised since the bridge had to line up perfectly with the implants. It did. The bridge looks great and feels great - like my own teeth, but much better! We were done in three weeks. The price was right but, more importantly, the final result is great. I am glad I went back to Dr. Stein's and recommend them to anyone wanting professional work, performed by a talented and caring team. My thanks to Dr. Daniels, Dr. Allaeb, Felipe and especially JoAnne for a job well done.

Dr. Rosenblitt is a great dentist-honest and reliable! He’s been my dentist for about 8 years and I’m grateful that my previous dentist recommended him to me when he moved out of state. Dr. Rosenblitt has a great relationship with his staff and I appreciate listening to them chat when I’m in the chair to distract me having work done. The office and rooms are clean and tools always come out of the sterile pouches. The hygienists have always been thorough in their cleanings. The dental work Dr. Rosenblitt performs is top notch, and he always says to me “I want it to be perfect, so if it’s not, please let me know and I’ll fix it.” That’s how it should be and that’s how Dr. Rosenblitt is! Dr Scott Bender is an excellent chiropractor who specializes in non-invasive, non “cracking” treatments. It is amazing how the body’s misalignment can be fixed so effortlessly with his atlas orthogonal machine, which gently re-aligns the first cervical vertebrae, making everything else fall into place. Dr. Bender is very knowledgeable, kind, and always helpful! I appreciate him and his staff immensely.

I had knee pain. The best care I have ever received for pain relief. I feel Dr Inglis cares about my health and his approach is to go to the root of the problem vs. putting a “band aid” on the issue. Also, I like the fact that he encourages non-invasive treatment first. Most doctors want to shoot you up with strong meds and injections and if that doesn’t work they want to do surgery. I like Dr Ingis’ approach. Everyone’s needs and issues are different and the key is to find a Dr who tailors the solution based on the individual. That is what Dr Inglis does.

Mario and crew are phenomenal. I really appreciate the calm environment at the shop! The door remains closed and there’s rarely another dog in there. After years of doing Club Pilates, I discovered Maria's amazing studio in Stamford. This is the most personalized class instruction you'll ever find with a maximum of 3 people in each reformer class. She and her staff have literally transformed my body in the past few months. Maria has amazing instructors who correct my form in the most subtle ways but it makes all the difference in the results. I have been going here for five months. The classes are small, so the teachers can give everyone personal attention. The instructors are very professional and explain each movement in detail, which helps a lot—especially for beginners like me. The sessions are high quality, affordable, and perfect for anyone looking to start or improve their Pilates practice. Highly recommend!

If you’re familiar with the Tully Center clinic, Dr. Katie is the top doc there sends all of her patients to Denise - whether it’s for back or neck pain, stress relief, Accutonics, Aromatherapy, reflexology and more.My husband and I both saw her after a car accident And made significant progress with her.Denise recently moved back to the East Coast and is with a new clinic that has different specialists that focus on womens health. We are lucky to have her back in the area!She uses a variety of different modalities and is a true healer.In addition, she is reasonably priced!!
Veronica is a great massage therapist. I suffer from sciatica and have trouble sitting (while I do work, while watching TV, while driving and sleeping). Veronica is a great therapist with excellent manual dexterity and is able to easily perform the complicated maneuvers required to hit target areas. She listens to you and makes you feel valued. After just a few massages, I notice a huge improvement. I will continue to seek massages from Veronica and recommend her to my friends and family. She is very knowledgeable and courteous. She goes above and beyond for her clients. I highly recommend her!

Ricki is very knowledgeable in her area of expertise with pregnant women. I did a prenatal massage elsewhere prior to seeing Ricki and wish I had seen Ricki sooner because her hands are magic! I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and my lower back thanks her for the relief! Every pregnant woman should experience Ricki's massages. I loved it so much I plan on returning for a postpartum massage and have my husband take her infant massage class. I highly recommend her and you won't be disappointed!
Richard is amazing! I've often dealt with a lot of pain and pulled muscles when I ramp up my running. Richard was able to assess and address my issues immediately. I am experiencing fewer and fewer issues as I weight train, run, and do yoga now thanks to his sessions and thoughtful tips. The downtown area is so lucky he's around!

i spontaneously made an appointment with no prior recommendation. as this massage spa is close to my residence i thought i would give it a try. to my surprise they exceeded my initial expectations. they are kind professional and sweet. the room is clean and cozy and warm and they are the ultimate professionals. my therapist was sophia and she asked if i liked medium or more intensity. she incorporated a bit of stretch and was very body aware. she also used a hot towel to remove the oils so i didn’t have to slip back into my clothes with oily skin. and wow! they are super affordable for the hour massage and so as i am hyper aware of the area we live in….. OVER TIP because it is still the best experience and deal around!

Do yourself a favor and go get a massage by Cindy at this place. Wow is all I can say. I wish we lived anywhere close to Stamford and could go there weekly. I have visited many upscale spas and gotten countless massages, and while they have been luxurious, relaxing and great, nobody has been so excellent as finding the exact knots and points to work on like Cindy. This was a completely random visit at a mall to a small massage place, but I left there floating and feeling so great. I hope Cindy never leaves this place and is there next time we visit Stamford. Thank you!
Love Moon Spa! Very clean and professional staff. Massages are amazing! Staff are very receptive to tailoring to your preference. Front desk is always accessible to make an appointment (even last minute). Very quiet and tranquil space. Very fair priced and highly recommend.
Found them on Groupon. Had a scalp therapy and body massage session with Annie. It was great, I was very relaxed. I even fell asleep for a second. I hope to be back.

Working with Drivers education has been really easy. They respond really quickly and always answer all questions. My instructor Shaun has been great & extremely patient with me. He always follows up with materials I can use to improve my driving.
