Clean, open, and friendly staff. I was new in the stamford area and found this place while driving. My first visit here was due to the special sign they have outside (mani n pedi for $25 on Mondays & tuesdays), and after seeing their clean work, I became a constant customer. I really like that they clean up the cuticles and give a feminine and delicate look to the nails and hands overall. Also... The girls here are very nice and respectful. I enjoy my times here and would definitely recommend them. They have hair services as well, haircuts, hair coloring, etc.

I especially love working with Adriana. She truly understands my hair which is fine but very frizzy. She's the kind of hair dresser who is not just professional but also your good friend you get to catch up with every 6-8 weeks.
I've recently had the QiQi treatment (similar to Keratin) and if you have frizzy hair, this a must. She also gives me incredibly cuts, trims, and is an outstanding colorist.
The prices are incredibly reasonable and the results are in my opinion much better than at much higher priced salons I've been to before.
One of the reasons why I think this is literally Stamford's best salon is because the atmosphere is so friendly and not pretentious.

My daughter went to another salon to color and cut her hair but they did an awful job she left that salon crying. I came to LM salon so they can fix her hair. Andrea fixed her hair color and her haircut. She was extremely happy. I had my hair colored, cut, and I told my stylist Andrea to bring out my natural curls. Other hair salons never knew how to handle my curls but Andrea did a fantastic job. I never seen my curls look so vibrant and bouncy. My son got his hair washed and cut. He was happy as well. Seriously talented barbers. You cannot go wrong with any of the talented individuals here. Aside from giving AMAZING cuts, I had a health issue the other day at the barbershop due to dehydration. Scary moment for me, I blacked out in the chair. The men of the barbershop rushed to get me water, set a chair outside for me, had me sit while they supervised to make sure I was OK to drive, and finally called me to make sure I got home safely! As someone who has only tanned sporadically for years, I can confirm that I have had absolutely no issues canceling or restarting my monthly subscription for a few months, every year or two. They follow the corporate rules regarding pricing, and the prices are very straightforward. If you walk in, the prices for a single session are indeed very high, but a single session in a tanning bed doesn't do much, and I think this is likely to help steer people towards the much more cost effective monthly subscription. I would also like to report that I there has never been any push for me to upgrade to the more premium subscriptions, nor any pushy sales tactics regarding the products they sell. Everything has been easy. If this ever changes, I'll change my review, but I doubt that will be the case, unless the business changes drastically. Definitely recommended if you're looking to build your tan.

Amy does a beautiful job and I won't see anyone else now. My gel nails last 3-4 weeks and the pedicures are great too. We were really pleased with our experience here. We made a reservation and were taken immediately. The pedicure area can seat up to 6 people, and it's quiet and clean. The esthetitians were very friendly and all gave great massages and were highly skilled with the pedicures. The $65 lavender and green tea options included a hot stone massage, which was a great surprise. We will definitely be returning.

I haven't done my nails in years so I called short notice to make an appointment and it took me right away. It was nice and empty places nice and quiet. Ambience is great. Chose my color blue chair massage she did my nails very well, but the only thing I didn't like I asked her to do a design on the big toe she said yes, but she didn't do it. She sits me down to get my nails dry, but didn't turn on the fan, so I turned on the fan on myself, realizing it wasn't on. Not sure was was the lady name but I guess she had alot on her mind. But over wasn't the worst service

I have been to 3 -4 other hair dressers to get my hair straightened and all I got ever got was straight with frizziness. Kathleen takers her time and by the time I leave I have silky straight hair. She puts her heart into it and it shows. I highly recommend her.

I've been going to Eve & Adam salon for monthly facials for about 6 months now. Hands down the best facial I've ever had - and I've had many across Fairfield County and NYC. The staff is so kind, welcoming, and the estheticians are extremely attentive and knowledgeable. They use Biologique products (truly top of the line) and yet still somehow manage to stay very affordable. Can't think of a single negative thing to say, I just love this place so much.

The spa was clean and love love love the robe and perfect sized slides waiting in your locker. Relaxation room is dimly lit and u can help yourself to a heated wrap for your neck and some lovely refreshments. Only suggestion is reclining chairs or ottomans. My masseuse Andre was FANTASTIC!!!! Highly recommend. I believe this was one of the best massages I have ever had They also have a membership so u can go more often

*UPDATE SEPT, 2024 - Had some concerns with my cast iron waste pipe so I made an appointment over the phone. Steve arrived on time and advised that the issue was not serious but suggested considering replacing 80+ year old cast iron and provided an estimate. While he was there, I asked him to replace the valves for my washing machine, which he did.
*UPDATE* I had some water near my heating system in the basement on the night of Dec 23. I quickly went online and booked an appointment for the next morning, Christmas Eve which was confirmed after midnight via text. Joseph Kmetz showed up promptly at 902 AM, diagnosed the problem (a minor one, fortunately) and fixed it in 45 minutes. He explained clearly what was wrong and advised me on next steps, it was a HUGE relief with guests arriving for Christmas later in the day.

They came to my house twice, once for a slow drain issue and once for a sewer clog issue. Both times they were quick in responding and resolved my issues beyond my satisfaction. They were courteous, honest what the work would entail, and direct. I am now considering them to be my only go to plumbers when I have an issue. Steve and his crew are wonderful. Bob installed the sump pump system in our house - at the request of the previous owners. We noticed water seeping up through the floorboards and assumed it was the sump pump malfunctioning. Bob came by in response to our text in one hour on a Saturday. He checked the pump and explained it was working fine and walked us through why. He then said that he had recommended to the previous owner that they install a perimeter system to work in conjunction with the sump pump but they declined. He explained the water seeping through the foundation was because there was no perimeter wall/adequate draining. He then walked us around the entire house pointing out ways we can improve our water proofing (eg where gutters were not working, landscaping fixes). Would recommend him unreservedly- he’s a pro and a gentleman as well.
Adrian did a fantastic job. We have a 100+ year old old house with old cast iron plumbing. Our toilet was overflowing and causing backup in the shower - Yikes! We called on Saturday afternoon and they were able to come out immediately at 9am Sunday. Adrian was thorough and cleared out not only the clog, but got as much scale buildup out of the pipes as he could. He cleaned the tub as well (did not expect that). Above and beyond service. Friendly, professional, skilled and quick response time. I highly recommend this business (owners are Jimmy & Henry).
I ended up hiring company after I shopped around for my Boiler, burner and Indirect hot water tank replacement need. I extensively researched prices and companies in my area. Lou the owner returned my call on a weekend in case there was any emergency. After he only asked to send him photos and videos. And instantly gave me quote for two scenarios (Which btw he honored all the way). This was stark difference from other companies who had to set an appointment to come measure my house with expensive equipment or software (Which size and BTU output I needed I already knew). And tried to upsell me something I didn't really ask for. Schede beat others on price which was most important to me in addition to reviews. After I picked them company clearly communicated when Job will start and were very punctual. David and Guy (I didn't catch name) where very punctual - cleaned after, daily. Clark and Enfi (I hope I spelled the name right) joined them the next day. Also very punctual and professional - all worked with minimally disturbing my day, as I had to work from home. And Job taking one extra day, they did it, leaving everything clean. Explained me and gave advice on maintenance and tune up. I'm not a professional in this area but what they installed looks good after years of watching my rusty boiler and Tank started leaking ;-). Pretty much rebuild everything with new pipes and motor pumps. I hands down will recommend company without any hesitation. Definitely shop around. But have no doubts Schede will do the Job as well if not better than others with great quality to price ratio.
Shout out to Mark for being the MVP. Boy did we have a debacle transpire just a day before with a different company. Thank goodness for my family, our experience with Murace was the complete opposite. Long story short, we contacted Murace on a Sunday for an emergency service call. Our refrigerator was holding my family hostage with a terrible smell coming from a bolted down spill tray under the unit. We knew what needed to be done but didn't have the equipment to make it happen. Mark came over and fixed everything in about 15 minutes. He was also able to quickly repair a mysterious leak that sprung up behind our refrigerator before we contacted him as well. Quick and efficient! Sentry Electric always do professional electrical work around our house. In the past they have done everything from exterior lighting installations to our audio visual capabilities to all of the electrical wiring during our kitchen remodeling project a couple of years ago. We recently had a small electrical mishap in our home that my husband made even worse and finally I called Sentry before my husband could cause total electrical failure (not to mention the likely possibility that he would electrocute himself). Sentry answered the phone right away and was at our home within 20 minutes. They are always very friendly and patient and their electrical service is consistently done right the first time. Plus they always clean up afterwards too. This time was no different. Their electrical inspection identified the problem and thankfully they fixed it asap. The cost as usual was very reasonable; in this case for 2 hours of work. We definitely recommend these expert electrical contractors!
These guys are fantastic, I had a total power lost on a busy day in July and Dan was able to come out right away and fixed my problem. Scott is the most honest and responsive person in the business. Tri Tech installed our HVAC system 3 years ago and stand behind there work. I had an issue with my Nest thermostats (software update) and Scott made it a point to come out with one of his technicians to be sure the system wasn't the problem. Even though Tri Tech did not install the thermostats they stayed after we rebooted the thermostats to be sure all was working well. I highly recommend Ti Tech. Scott is awesome and Kim Johnson always follows up. Good service is hard to find. Tri Tech Mechanical is one of the best.
Both my fiancé and I were beyond satisfied about Bill and his services. We had a fridge that stopped working properly--the freezer and the fridge stopped pumping cold air completely out of nowhere. On Wednesday after hours, I called and left a voicemail to two places, and the next morning (Thursday), only Bill called back and left a voicemail. On that same day (Thursday), Bill came exactly at when he said he would, between 2 pm and 4 pm. In fact, he arrived at 2 pm and buzzed our condo unit to be let in as per our instructions. Since we only had one fridge, we were so grateful for his prompt responses and visits on both Thursday and Friday. During his first visit, he took a look at our fridge and ordered some parts of the same brand, and then he came back the following day (Friday) for his second visit and fixed our fridge completely. When Bill wasn't sure if the part would arrive on the following day (Friday), he promised that he would come on Saturday. My fiancé offered to pay Bill more for his Saturday visit if necessary, but he politely declined and explained that we only had one fridge rather than two or three, so he said it was unnecessary for us to pay additional charges. Very few people in this world were as honest and professional as he was these days, and we were so lucky to have him as our fridge repair man.
