Pet boarding/training in Stamford

“We decided to try a different training approach since the first one we tried didn’t seem to stick. I did a lot of research on different places and this one stood out. It wasn’t about just training the dogs but training the owners as well. We were required to train with our dogs throughout their stay. Both Scott and Steve were amazing both with our dogs and training us as well. You can tell they care deeply about what they do and treat each dog with the love and respect they deserve. They came highly recommended and am glad I listened. They have been home for less than a week and we have already noticed a big difference.“

I am learning a lot too as Mike provides great training tips and demonstrates exactly how it’s done. “We absolutely love Room for Paws and can’t recommend them enough! Our black lab Skye has been going there since she was just 4 months old, and now at 9 months, they have truly been such a huge part of her puppyhood.

She started with their Puppy Preschool program, which was amazing for both her training and socialization, and then continued going to daycare twice a week after she finished the program. She absolutely LOVES it there. She sprints to the door as soon as we arrive and always comes home happy, exhausted, and clearly having had the best day. She has made so many friends there, both dog and human!

I am admittedly a very anxious pet parent and Skye is my whole world, so it means a lot when I say that I trust the Room for Paws team completely. You can tell how much every single employee genuinely loves the dogs and cares for them as if they were their own. Knowing Skye is somewhere she is happy, safe, loved, and so well cared for has been invaluable to us.

We’ve also boarded her with them a few times and have had her bathed there, and every experience has been wonderful.

We’re moving farther away and are genuinely so sad that Skye won’t be able to go twice a week anymore. Room for Paws has become such a special place for her and for us. We absolutely plan to bring her back whenever we can, especially for boarding, because they are truly the people we trust most with our girl.
