“I go to the Hamden location off of Whitney Ave. I've always been treated ok,my nurse practitioner was just ok very non personal, just professional not to friendly but not insensitive just ok. He just left the practice with no notice and I've had lots of issues with Jessica the nurse practitioner and now another Dr Ramzan who's just changed all my meds instead of waiting till I can get onto a new pain management. He knew one of my meds was due to be filled today and said he was putting them through but didn't care to apparently it was no rush when now I will not have my script untill I call in the morning to inform them that I don't have my medication for the day. Hopefully they push it through. I feel their treating me as if I'm just an issue they don't care to deal with anymore after going to the same hamden office sense 2016,this Dr doesn't know me or what I go through and wasn't very sensative just told me what he was going to do in a matter of fact way. This is a mess and only adds stress to my situation created by my regular nurse just leaving the practice giving me no notice or never informed me.Theirs some very nice staff as well as a couple rude staff ladies who are very short with you and have obvious attitudes. Its hit or miss when you call. You never know if your going to get a nice one or short rude one but their mostly nice to me. I've never had to wait long at all for appointments so that is awesome and now you can do teli med so saves you from having drive their. Untill recently its been mostly a great place to go. Just depends on who you see. Mostly nice and professional. I just have a lot of health issues and it was all handled by one Dr now their sending me to a couple different Drs and specialists changing everything. All in all I have to give them a 3 to 4. Its a pretty good place,no long waiting. I think my situation makes it more complicated but the average person should like it and if you find one friendly Dr then stick with that Dr or nurse practitioner.“

“The reception staff and eye tech professional were each very personable, professional, and prompt. Dr. Block, as always, is competent and skilled. I was in-and-out of my annual eye examination in 1 hour and ready for seeing my own clients.“

“Hi I never write any reviews however I would like to write my experiences with park ave medical < I have been a patient for about 5 years now and would like to say They are the best medical facility I have ever dealt with , I would like to just touch on my resent experience , I had somehow pinched a nerve in my neck causing me horrible pain and loss of movement in my hand , I went to the ER and got xrays and my pcp dr , and got muscle relaxers and pain became worse , called my pcp and they said go back to ER I did this yet again ,got a ct scan and was sent to a shoulder surgeon , He finally told me it was my neck and recommended PT,I called for PT they put me in months away , I had not slept in weeks at this point , I had an appointment at parkview medical for unrelated appointment , , I decided to go pretty much was suffering , as soon as I got into appointment , everyone their was so helpful and basically got me into a different Phyisical therapy and come to find out , The ER and all doctors seen prior gave me wrong medicines which made me suffer , after leaving the office with a new plan and I followed their directiions with in 2 days I felt better and did PT for a dozen appointments I became close to back to normal , I just cant thank them enough for their professionalism and the caring team their from the receptionist , the DRs and even the Owner of the practice , they go beyond their job and they are totally professional and they actually care about their patients , I am only writing this review as since covid it appears our medical system has changed and in my case for the worse , I want others to know if they need any medical assessment or not happy with their doctors , You Need to call them and they WILL help you , I am so glad I got to be in their care and appreicate all they have done foe me in past and ongoing and would like others to realize their is still great healthcare at this palce where you are not just a number you are a person .Lou Lomartra“

“My recent appointment with Refocus, Branford was quite a pleasurable and rewarding experience having first been assisted by Felicia Mayberry and Dr Moore. Both of which demonstrated true professionalism as well as the utmost congeniality. Their actions truly left a lasting impression on my visit there.“

“Sick for over a week and not getting better I phoned my physician on Saturday morning only to learn they no longer had Saturday hours and LUCKILY I was referred to CareMedica. To my absolute amazement, they responded to me, conducted a telemed visit, and prescribed treatment. I could not have asked for anything better. Without hesitation, I would recommend them highly!!!“

“once you can get an appointment it's fine. But don't bother trying to call the Branford office. You either have a long long wait time or they say they're closed when it's the middle of the day. You have better luck calling the main number in New Haven where will get a live person who can help you.“

“Dr. Slater and his staff are friendly and accommodating. Their office is one of the few places around that is open seven days a week and takes walk-in patients. I went today for a general wellness exam and ran through a battery of tests in a few minutes with a friendly assistant. They couldn't do bloodwork on a Sunday (I think due to Quest's constraints, not theirs), but they were able to get me an appointment for bloodwork the next day at 9am. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. No reason to be nervous to go to this office!“

“Dr. Schoenfeld was very friendly, caring, and spent time to educate me on our first visit. He performed a successful cardioversion. Subsequently when I had a challenge I left a message for his nurse and he personally called me back very shortly. I feel safe and cared for under his guidance.“

“Saw Dr. Parker until he passed away a few years ago. The PAs that have replaced him are helpful. They got me in on a televisit last week within an hour after I tested positive at home for Covid and got me on a script quickly.“

“I went to Gaylord after getting COVID 19 and had Guillian-Barre Syndrome. I was unable to use both arms and both legs. After rehabilitation there I gained the use of both arms and my left leg and partial use of my right leg. I am going back as an outpatient for therapy and my right leg is almost back to normal. I couldn't have gotten better care anywhere else. Gaylord employees are the best in the business. I recommend Gaylord to everyone.“

“My mother had a massive stroke which resulted in living at Masonicare for a little over eleven years. My father and I visited my mother faithfully every day. I have seen a lot during those eleven years. Long Term Care was a real challenge after COVID when people decided they rather stay home then come back to work. Turnover was high and employees were stretched thin. And It didn't matter to me that the rooms are small and outdated or other things like that. The most important thing was that my mother was always happy there, she adapted very well to living in a nursing home when that was clearly not how she wanted to spend the rest of her life. She loved the staff and they loved her. That's what matters. I want to thank all of the employees who really went above and beyond up until my mother passed away to join my father two weeks after he passed. I am especially grateful for Keisha from the cafeteria on Ramage four who always did a little dance for my mother when she could have just passed by her room, Alan, Ryan, and Jason who always made my mother smile and helped when she was frustrated, CC who always helped me when my mother was frustrated, and most of all Jane who was my Masonicare Angel the whole time my mother was there, who helped me with all of my concerns and gripes every time I needed help. I want to thank of of you who came to see my mother when she was in hospice. It really touched me that you cared so much to come and say goodbye. The most important thing to me was my mother's happiness. And these employees made her very happy. God Bless all of you and all Masonicare employees who are genuine, caring, and compassionate. Thank you so much for making my mother's not so golden years much better.“
