My mom was a resident on the skilled nursing unit of 5 Ramage for nearly 4 years. I recently transferred my mother to another facility for a few different reasons. The first reason is that over the years, there has been a tremendous turnover of staff and the new staff members were not providing enough stimulating activities/events for the residents. Also, aside from physical therapy, no one was encouraging my mother to walk on a daily basis. She would be left sitting on a recliner in her room day in and day out. My mom has unfortunately wound up in the care of Massonicare. I have to say floor 5 ramage you guys are the best! Also, floor 2 staff is amazing compassionate to the residents. It's nice to see the residents up doing activities and not roting in bed being neglected like some facilities. This is the first nursing home I dealed with that provides good care and attention to the residents. I see the love and joy the CNAs put into their care for the residents. I put all my trust into them caring for my mom with Alzheimer's disease and I like what I see. When I can't be there with my mom I know she is getting good care.
