Going with a trusted plumber/plumbing company is a must - like going to a mechanic you know/trust to fix your car and not worry about being cheated.
We're happy we went with Above All Plumbing (again, pretty sure we also used them years ago to install a toilet at a nearby rental we used to own) after we discovered a small leak underneath the bathroom sink last week. Another reason we went with Above All is that our condo building of 38 units have been using them for building plumbing work (and installation of the main water heater) for probably more than 10 years (though each owner is free to go with any plumber he/she likes).
