I was plagued with back issues when my chiropractor sent me to this studio. Since doing Pilates here I am now pain free after years, and I no longer see a chiropractor. Life changing is an understatement. I fish from boats and after doing Pilates for a while, my balance on the boat improved significantly. I didn’t realize I had a balance problem. This became apparent the following spring, after I had been doing Pilates for about 6 months. If you have balance, strength, or back issues, I highly recommend this studio. This after being in strength and cross fit training for a lifetime.

I have a crazy schedule and she was always sweet and accommodating when I had to make last minute changes, she’s also really good with skincare and teaches you all about aftercare for your skin. Another thing I love about her is how CLEAN her space is, I’m a licensed cosmetologist so I’m super picky about spaces being clean enough and she’s just THE BEST! If you’re not going to her you’re missing out! I moved back to SoCal recently and I’m so sad I won’t be able to go to her anymore, she’s probably waht I miss most about Chico!

For a long time, I had been looking for someone who could really cut hair well. After searching a lot, I found Wild Heart Hair Studio with Kristy Nall online. I checked her page and it gave me a good vibe.
Even though I don’t speak English, I decided to go with faith and give it a try, hoping I could explain what I wanted. Language was a challenge, but in the end the experience was excellent. Kristy is a true artist with the scissors: she understood me, was extremely patient, and used a translator to communicate with me.
I was delighted with my haircut. I recommend her 100%.

Love this place! I've had cuts from Kandy and from Dejah, and both really spent time and care on my cut. I love the way I look after a cut from them, and how they stop to check in and make sure they're doing what you're after. Also the prices are super reasonable.

I’ve been going to see Jess for about a year now for acrylic overlay. I usually go with an image of what I like and from there she is able to collaborate with me and turn it into something I love. The main thing that sets Jess apart is that she is a true artist and has that artistic eye. She gets excited about doing something creative and different and she is just such a positive, fun energy to be around. She has amazed me over and over again with her creativity, artistry, professionalism and work ethic. I cannot recommend her enough and can say with 100 percent certainty that you would leave her salon disappointed.
Hands down the best pedicure I've EVER had. I've been here twice now and both times were fantastic. They were also incredibly accommodating, they opened up early for me and my best friend on the day of my wedding. I seriously have to give the biggest shoutout to my hair girl because wow… yesterday was not easy ? My hair had years of stubborn dark box dye buildup, and I know it would’ve been easy for someone to say no or give up once she saw what we were working with… but she didn’t. She took a chance on me, trusted the process, and spent hours working so hard to help me get where I wanted to be. Through all the stubborn spots, all the patience it took, and all the extra effort, she never once gave up.
I’m genuinely so grateful she took a chance on me and believed she could bring my hair back to life. Not only did she completely transform it, but somehow after everything we put my hair through… it still feels so soft, healthy, and alive. Jennifer was fabulous! I treated myself today with a facial, and she gave me one of the most pampering and relaxing facials I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot!) She had so many extra touches that made it special,too many to put in my review but there were candles everywhere and a hot foot bath aroma therapy and massage of neck,shoulders,arms/hands and feet! It was perfect and it was such a good time! Shes very knowledgeable about her profession and explains things very well so that you know what is going on and helps you understand what your options are. We discussed doing some other services and I will be going back next week to have some derma planing done,and I’m excited to try her lash extensions as I like her approach to them,as she makes sure you understand the service and the maintenance as well as doing things in a way that will keep your natural lashes in good health. I took a handful of cards to give to friends,and I can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I went to Chico and decided to get matching tattoos. Other shops minimums were ridiculous. We just happened to walk into the tattoo company and Jay gave us a great quote and was able to bring our idea of our tattoos to life. The price was great, shop was nice and Jay was excellent. Our tattoos were very simple and Jay took his time to make sure they looked great. You know you’ve found a good artist when the artist gets excited for their work at the end of a tattoo. Jay has years of experience and was still excited to see how his work came to life. I’d recommend him to anyone. Thank you Jay.
The staff here were amazing. My friend, who is in a wheelchair, desperately wanted to get a tattoo from their favorite shop. They used to go here before they lost the ability to walk. The staff were able to set up a ramp so my friend could access their Mangrove location and really worked with us to make my friend comfortable. Thank for making dreams come true. ? But I would call ahead if you use a wheelchair so they can have the ramp ready for your arrival. The only downside is their bathroom door isnt wide enough for wheelchair access. But 5 star service!

Hooker oak plumbing company is the only plumbing company I trust. I've used Curt many times including recently fixing what another plumber from an un-named reputable company mis-diagnosed over charged and ultimately did not fix. I just had my water pipes replaced because many people in my neighborhood were having leaks due to the builder’s use of inferior pipes. The water pipes were in the attic because the house is built on lava rock. Several of my neighbors had Vince at Chico Plumbing Solutions replace the old pipes with a better quality . Vince has done an excellent job for all of us , keeping the floors protected and minimal dust. I was surprised at how quickly they were able to complete it! About 4-5 days. Laura, his wife and office manager, was very helpful. I asked a lot of questions, and she was always kind and prompt in her responses. I really appreciate the work they did, and will continue using Vince for all my plumbing needs
Our insurance company required us to get some safety equipment put on our water and propane pipes. I had no idea what was required and was very confused. I called eagle plumbing and Elaine was so sweet she helped me decipher what was needed and even reach out to my insurance agent to verify what we needed to satisfy the insurance company. Her husband and son came out and got it don’t quickly. We have dealt with a lot of contractors and specialist and Eagle plumbing was one of the most positive experiences we have ever had. I love that they are a family business! Hope we don’t have any issues with our clumping in the future but if we do Eagle plumbing is going to be our first call.
Plumbing all stopped up. Called early morning for help and JOSE got here a little before noon (SAME DAY!!!). He worked long and hard cleaning out roots from a long dead and gone peach tree and got everything working like new. He is a very delightful person and I am glad MOE'S was recommended to me by a friend. They will be my #1 go-to plumbing company from now on. It only takes a short few minutes talking to someone to get a good picture of how they carry themselves. Gavin at Bullseye Plumbing gave great advice to me as a customer in just a few short minutes call that saved the day. Water heater issue fixed, and wife will be happy camper tonight. He is confident, knowledgeable, and friendly. He tries to get you back on your feet providing what advice he can and should you just want an issue taken care of, he's right there and available to provide sound customer service and support. Excellent and will be using him again in the future as well as referring him out to family and friends.
Randy helped me out by going to my elderly Mom's house to check out her shower, hot water faucet that was dripping out small amounts of water, turned on full blast and not allowing pressure. He was amazing! I would highly recommend him if you need a professional, kind, knowledgeable plumber!

I needed a new circuit for an AC/heat pump installation and was scrambling to find someone. Devon was the first to pick up and said he could stop by after finishing a full day job. He showed up the same evening around 6:30pm, assessed everything, gave me a fair ballpark estimate, and returned the next day to complete the work. He had the new circuit installed in just a couple of hours and charged me at the low point of the ballpark estimate.

Towne is literally the worst business we have ever had the displeasure of working with. To say we are unhappy with our flooring install experience would be an understatement. We had the Mannington AduraMax in Gunstock installed. This flooring DENTS. The installer dented new planks moving our fridge back. He had to rip them out but missed a couple that we noticed later that night, so he had to come back out and redo it again. Guess what? The floor dented again when moving our fridge back. My husband had the idea to lay another layer of the same plank (that was damaged previously) over the flooring to protect it against denting...it didn't work! It dented right through the layer on top. After being ripped out and fixed AGAIN, they layered our old laminate over the flooring when moving the fridge...it didn't dent underneath. For some reason, our old low quality laminate doesn't dent, but this stuff does. The manager claims this is standard for LVP after my husband complained, but no one disclosed this to us. It was touted as top of the line, waterproof, scratch resistant...but no one said it dents easily. Also, we know people with LVP and none of them have had this issue. The floor is also "bouncy" in several areas. We were assured by the installer and two different people at Towne that it is normal and would settle, but it hasn't. When my husband complained to the installer again when he came to fix the denting, he said that our floor wasn't level...yet he told us before installing that nothing needed to be done and he was going to start laying the plank! So which is it? Is our floor level or not level? And if it wasn't level that should have been mentioned and corrected prior to the floor being installed. My husband called Towne and talked to the manager, who came and looked at our floor. He had the installer come AGAIN to level a spot on the floor, but it didn't help because there are multiple spots that need to be leveled. But that's not all! The installer didn't put silicone along the walls that border the outside, which is what we had before. My husband told him we would like it done because it was there when the old laminate was ripped out. The installer insisted there was no need for it and he's never seen that before. We wound up having bugs coming in that way, specifically an army of ants. We have NEVER had that issue before, so clearly it was because he didn't put the silicone back along the walls. He also cut one of our baseboards despite it being the perfect size, so now the baseboard has a cut in it, there were scratches and scuff marks that wouldn't come out and needed to be fixed, and my husband had to help move appliances when we PAID for it to be done. We were told verbally that there is a two year warranty on the install. My husband asked to get that in writing. He was told that it is in the contract. My husband looked...it's not in the contract. He asked again to get it in writing, to which they told us verbally that there's a two year warranty. For some reason, they really don't want us to have proof that there's a two year warranty! Our floor still isn't fixed. We want a discount and to be over this whole situation, but they want to redo our floor, which means more time out of our lives and having to move heavy furniture that was a struggle to move the first time around. We have a very heavy piano and cabinet that we were barely able to move the first time around. The other option was a $200 discount to keep it as is, which is insulting for everything we've had to deal with. Even if they come out and redo the flooring, we deserve more than $200 off for everything we've had to put up with! To make matters worse, Towne never checked in to make sure we were happy with any of the fixes. They just sent us the bill in the mail. Now they are threatening to take us to collections. Horrible company. Go anywhere else.

I called because the water heater pilot at my daughter's home in Chico would not relight. Joe had his crew out the same day and got the pilot to relight. He told me the water heater was over 20 years old and would probably not run much longer. Yep, he was right. Two days later, in the evening, my daughter texts and says they have no hot water again. I called Joe and spoke with him. He gave me a verbal quote to replace the water heater. I texted him back early the next morning to go ahead with the replacement. By 10 am the same day the new water heater was installed and running. The price was commensurate with typical plumbing rates, but the service was superior. IMO, you're a fool if you call someone else.
I can't say enough good things about ProFrame. Great people, great work, easy to work with and did what they said they'd do, when they said they would. The treat prospective and committed customers the same - with an eagerness to earn their business and please them throughout the process. I hope to get to work with them again someday!

She has an artist’s ability to design rooms that are functional and beautiful. The colors flow beautifully from our kitchen to the bathrooms.
Keith oversaw the entire project. From his vast experience, he offered wonderful suggestions all along the journey. He has a marvelous eye for detail and is meticulous with his craft. Here’s a great example. My wife and I selected beautiful tile for our bathroom floors. But when the tiles arrived, a box of them were the wrong color! They were gray. Keith and his tile guy, Brian, looked at the “wrong” tiles in the box and made an amazing discovery. They were the perfect color for our bathrooms. Keith called this to our attention. He and Brian were right. They were perfect. Talk about serendipity!

Wowzer! Kyle and Crew 3 did such an awesome job in taking out a tree in a difficult backyard location. Really nice people. They care a lot about their level of care and making sure you’re informed and comfortable. If you ever have pain, they get you in immediately. My appointments are always on time. Loved my teeth cleanings here (I almost fell asleep). They offer SureSmile, too, so if you’re interested in straightening your teeth that is an option. They don’t take Delta, but you pay 100% up front, they bill Delta, and Delta reimburses you; it’s a pretty simple and straightforward process.

First, Heather is so kind and caring. I called her at my wits end in pain and feeling really broken (literally) she was able to get me squeezed in the same day/hour I called inquiring about cost for uninsured ($50 after the initial $75 I think it was) , I just moved from WA. And am trying to find a new care team. Dr Kirk was great. He's super friendly and explains everything so well while showing you muscles and skeleton on your person as he's describing it. He's a bit more gentle than my last chiro but that's not saying it's bad just different. He got me all put back together and told me the best way to work out the knots I have in my shoulder. His and Heathers smiles and personalities are so warming, so glad I found them.
Super great place, other staff in the office has been super welcoming and it's a clean office. The coolest part is the mini Pac-Man game for people waiting though I haven't had anytime to play it.

This sounds funny, but the best thing Dr. Smith has done for me was to refuse to treat me because of my symptoms - instead, he referred me to the ER, where an MRI revealed that I had severe spinal stenosis which required rapid surgical intervention to prevent further nerve damage. Dr. Smith accurately identified an issue that was missed or misdiagnosed by my primary physician, Urgent Care, and two neurologists.
Post-surgery, I continue to see Dr. Smith for ongoing maintenance adjustments - he is always attentive and compassionate and clearly interested in my condition and care. I trust his judgement and his skill and appreciate his careful attention. His assistant Rocco is always friendly and helpful and the office is a welcoming, relaxing space.
Dr. Smith also offers a free tai chi class on Friday mornings that I've found very helpful both physically and mentally.
I feel very lucky that Spine Chiropractic is here to help me.

I took my German Shepherd, Leo, there recently and we loved it! They are lovely, compassionate folks, and took great care of my older guy and all his special digestive needs. They were even able to trim his very overgrown nails, which no one else has been able to do (severely traumatizing for him!) They took good care of me, too. They offered me different options for his severe food allergies and itchy skin. He's very happy to be comfortable in his own skin again, coat growing back beautifully, and I think he likes his tamed nails as well?
UPDATE: We still love this team and location. We trust them completely and feel that or dogs are receiving the best care possible. ?
Dr. Amy Schauntz has gone above and beyond for our pets several times. It's such a great feeling knowing that your vet truly cares about your animals and will do everything in their power to help. Good care, but a bit pricey and often attempts to upsale services are prominent.
Brought in my med-large dog for a nail trim. He'd never got them trimmed before, and he's not a huge fan of having his feet messed with, and they did SUCH a fantastic job. The groomer was quick, gentle and did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
This place is wonderful the groomer is attentive to your pet and a real sweet person.
I would recommend this groomer to everyone. We have used her for several years and I am always impressed with the way she handles my dog. I would give her 6 stars if I could!

Alex was awesome! His Yin Class was all levels and he offered challenges and modifications as needed. The music was chilled out and perfect for Yin. Freebird is a great studio which l visit whenever in town!
A gem of a studio with awesome yoga wall. Been an Iyengar Student of Tom (one of the owners/teachers) for 15 years. A wide variety of classes and events. We're really lucky to have this studio in Chico.

I've been seeing Isaac regularly for almost a year now, and it's been one of the better things I've done for myself. He is professional, knowledgeable, and experienced, and he understands how to meet you where you are, whether you're recovering from physical demands or need to slow down and release tension. I leave each session feeling restored. What I appreciate most is that his massages are genuinely relaxing too, not just functional. Ben is incredible. I’ve had good massages, great ones — but he is a true healer. I rarely write reviews about anything. But Ben is on another level. I leave feeling SO much better & the effects of his work last much longer than any traditional/swedish type of massage (that most people think of). I’m a 25+ year veteran of the restaurant industry and my body (feet/legs and especially lower back) is wretched from running around restaurants for decades. I can honestly say that I leave his studio feeling better than I have in years. He’s helped me get back to being active again because the pain isn’t as bad anymore. If you’re a person with chronic pain, deep tissue needs and want someone who CARES about what they’re doing— book a session with him and you’ll see for yourself.
Just experienced my first deep tissue massage by Justina 2 days ago, and it was amazing! I’ve been dealing with severe neck/shoulder pain for 2 weeks and nothing has been able to help me. I finally decided to try a deep tissue massage to see if it would help and I’m finally improving and the pain has gone down significantly. While the deep tissue massage wasn’t as relaxing as the normal Swedish massages I get, it was necessary and I will be back for another one in a week to help with my muscle spasms.
Justina was so kind and communicative and you can tell she really cares about what she does and cares about helping you feel better. Her prices are very fair as well.

This was absolutely fantastic! The massage therapist was incredibly skilled and met all my needs perfectly! When I arrived, she first talked to me about my symptoms and then offered several different massage options. She was an excellent communicator, warm and friendly, explaining in detail what she would do and the specific steps. She even gave me some tips for relieving pain at home! If I could give it 100 stars, I definitely would! I'll definitely come back!

I have been treating with Dr. Regina Dagorret for over 20 years. She has not only treated me, but my children as well who are now adults and firemen and who continue to treat with her. Our treatments have ranged from addressing sports injuries, childhood chronic ear infections, stress and fatigue and the overall balance of our bodies. Since originally treating with Dr. Dagorret, I have been diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease. Today was my first visit to the Healing Center and I was super happy with my experience! The services are amazing and they offer so many different things. The staff were incredibly sweet, caring, and welcoming, which I really appreciated. They also offer hot tea while you’re there, and they have beautiful items for sale like tinctures, crystals, and more. Such a calming and positive environment — I’m definitely looking forward to coming back!
so many positives here . adrian is a very experienced intuitive gentle practitioner. i have referred several people that also have gotten great results, less pain, feelings of relaxation etc. everyone experience's will vary. i consider it to be part of my health care. so fantastic. and very reasonable cost.
Dr. Katrina is wonderful!!! Extremely knowledgeable in her profession! I do construction for a living so there's always something hurting!! No matter what it is she has the ability to focus on that area and gets results every time. She's very easy to talk to and you can tell she truthfully cares about her patience. If you are somebody entertaining the idea of acupuncture I strongly recommend you give it a try.
