I love rain so much! She’s the sweetest I’ve been going to her for my waxing since she opened her studio in Chico! I have a crazy schedule and she was always sweet and accommodating when I had to make last minute changes, she’s also really good with skincare and teaches you all about aftercare for your skin. Another thing I love about her is how CLEAN her space is, I’m a licensed cosmetologist so I’m super picky about spaces being clean enough and she’s just THE BEST! If you’re not going to her you’re missing out! I moved back to SoCal recently and I’m so sad I won’t be able to go to her anymore, she’s probably waht I miss most about Chico!
I have so much gratitude that I’ve found Rain at Sugar Roots! For some background, I’ve been a licensed esthetician for almost a decade so when I get services I receive them through a professional viewpoint. The level of skill and professionalism she exudes is such that I feel inspired to continue growing as a service provider. I’ve been getting Brazilians for years and even waxed myself for about two years and I have never been happier with the results. I haven't had a sugar Brazilian and it had been quite a while since I had a regular Brazlian. Rain's space was private and felt very cozy and comfortable, dimly lit. Rain was very sweet and made me feel comfortable. She was able to be very engaging and that helped distract me from the pain and it was not even so painful. She explained everything as she was going through the process. I appreciated checking in to make sure I was okay and letting me take a moment to recover before continuing the job.
