I can't rave about the women here enough. I came in wanting a huge change to my hair and was sent to Abigail. I was getting a perm for the first time and was nervous. She was a honest 10/10 from the start. I spent over 5 hours in that salon and everyone was amazing. I had like 4 different people working and helping with my hair. Abigail is such a sweet girl, she checked on me constantly, made sure I was well informed and we had a blast the whole time. Every women working there was hyping me up and it did wonders for my confidence. If you are looking for a new salon I cant recommend this place enough.

I would highly recommend Moh or Jimmy, especially for men's specialty haircuts! They are both awesome to chat with but also at gauging how much their clients are feeling like talking which is great for those whose social batteries may be running dry at the time of their appointment. I used to dread haircuts until I found this gem.

Gino is from a different generation of barbers. He is not everyone's cup of tea but I have had no complaints about his work. I too am old school and Gino reminds me of a time when you got to know your barber, much like your doctor. He gets to know you too and will take the time to communicate, given the chance. His shop is reminiscent of a time when it was a "man's only" place. You as a father, would introduce your son to him and begin to cultivate the next generation of men. This is a dying art and culture and like I said at the beginning, its not everyone's cup of tea. So, if you want a good, standard haircut befitting an upstanding young man, Gino is the guy to cut your hair. If you are wanting something other than that, try somewhere else. I called Hoodoos to get a price for a 200amp service upgrade and some wiring in my basement. 5 minutes into scoping the job it was obvious Brian is an expert (with every step of a renovation) as he was offering solutions that two other electricians had not suggested - this ended up saving me a lot of time and money on the project. He also had insight on our new laundry layout that we had not considered - which changed our original plan for the best.
Him and Ryan showed up on time with a great attitude every day and left the place cleaner than they found it. Their attention to detail and quality of work is very appreciated.
His prices are extremely fair with everything communicated beforehand and no surprises.

United floors did an amazing job tiling our shower and bathroom floor and baseboards. Ryan the sales rep was very helpful and Sergeg the tiler is a perfectionist. One of our contractors broke two 24x24 floor tiles after installation on the heated floor, our tiler was able to come back in just a couple days and managed to change the tiles without damaging the in floor heating so the reno could be completed. Amazing job, they exceeded expectations.

After realizing installing floors ourselves was way above our capabilities, the team at Complete Floors was able to save the day by scheduling us right away to have our flooring installed before Christmas. Not only did they manage to squeeze us in for the last minute install, but they were also able to align the costs with our tight budget. Pavs was an amazing company to deal with. We had problems with our septic lines freezing. They did the original work 10 years ago and still backed up their warranty replacing the lines, bringing in proper fill and insulation and correcting the installation so that everything would work as it should. Visiting from Out of town and was having some back issues. Total health got me in right away to see Dr. Carson. Got those issues straightened out and doing better.
Not only that but that same evening I get a follow up call from Dr. Carson to see how I was making out, wow that was a first for me. Great people to deal with. If I lived in Kamloops Total Health would definatly be my go to.
Joanna Brewer (RMT) at Back to Health Clinic is an absolute gem. She is incredibly caring, compassionate, and highly skilled at what she does. I always feel listened to and well cared for during my appointments.
My only frustration is how difficult it can be to get in for an appointment if you haven’t booked well in advance. I really wish the clinic offered the Jane app for booking with Joanna. At other health clinics in the city that use Jane, being able to view availability, join a waitlist, and pick up cancellation appointments makes accessing care much easier and more convenient.
That said, Joanna’s exceptional care keeps me coming back, and I truly appreciate the support she provides.
I cannot thank Dr. Fraser and the incredible staff enough for saving the day during a terrifying emergency. I am from out of town—over 800 km away from home and our regular vet—when my Frenchie suffered a sudden, severe neck injury. After calling three other clinics and even being turned away from one while my poor boy was shivering and twitching in extreme pain, this clinic was our saving grace.From my initial phone call to walking through their doors 8 minutes later, the team was compassionate and efficient. Despite being fully booked and already managing three prior emergencies, they brought us straight into a room immediately. Dr. Fraser rapidly assessed his neck, diagnosed the issue, and administered the medication he desperately needed.On top of the exceptional care, their pricing was incredibly fair. The total bill for the emergency exam, the immediate treatment on the spot, and all of his take-home medications came out to just about what an emergency pet hospital was going to charge us just to walk through the door! We were in, treated, and out the door in 30 minutes. My boy is now completely relaxed and sleeping peacefully without any pain. They are true lifesavers for an out-of-town pet parent in crisis!
Excellent care and kind, knowledgeable staff. Coffee and tea offered in the waiting area. Lots of parking. The place is clean and tidy with a large washroom available.
We have taken our poodles here for many years. Beth is awesome and does a great job. The environment is not chaotic like other groomers we have been to.

Andrea is phenomenal and goes above and beyond. I have a spicy little dachshund and she is honestly the dog whisperer. My pup loves her and she was able to really understand his behaviour. I’ll definitely be booking some training with her. Her grooming is also incredible!! I highly recommend!
Tanja does a great job, is professional and efficient. Hank leaves her shop looking great, happy and relaxed everytime.
They have been doing my dogs for years. Always wonderful ….even with my old dog who it hurts to lift her back legs. They did our kittens nails as well.

Gabrielle was excellent. She helped relieve my back pain after my MVA and significantly reduced the stiffness in my neck. Her technique was gentle while still applying enough pressure to work deep into the muscles. I left feeling much more relaxed and would definitely recommend her.
Jessie is very professional and provides an excellent sports massage. I've had lower back, hip, and sciatica pain for a long time, and I noticed a huge improvement after just my first session.
Her treatment room is also such a unique and relaxing space, with the walls and ceiling covered in interesting pictures and an amazing music playlist that makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
Brittany is amazing! She is able to pinpoint the location of your problem and do wonders, leaving warm and relaxed with no tension
I have been seeing Jamari and Dr. Monica Walsh and they have been absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. Jamari is the best registered massage therapist i have been to so far. He is kind, attentive, respectful, and good at his job. Dr. Monica Walsh is also amazing at her job. From the first meeting it was like we already knew eachother and we're friends. She held a very welcoming environment that felt safe and filled with encouragement for healing! This place has such a good and fun environment. It is loud sometimes from the classes they have even in a massage. So if that's not your thing it may not be for you. But I thoroughly love the environment and the support that is very individually adapted to whatever you need. Can't recommend this place enough.
