“Walking into a new hair studio for the first time can be nerve-racking, especially when you are blonde. You never quite know if you are going to leave with the beautiful blonde you were hoping for or wondering why your hair suddenly looks brassy! I am also the type of person who will ask everyone around me, “What do you think?” because I want that extra reassurance that my hair actually looks good.
After visiting COBIA for the first time, I can honestly say I no longer feel like I need to ask anyone for reassurance. MALLORY absolutely nailed my blonde!
Mallory is knowledgeable, informative, intelligent, and clearly takes pride in what she does. I left her chair thinking, “Thank goodness she fixed my blonde highlights!” My colour turned out exactly how I wanted it, and I was so happy with the result. She is also an incredible hair cutter, which was an added bonus.
What made my experience even better was bringing my daughter with me. Normally, she will sit patiently, read a book, and wait while I get my hair done. This time, however, she looked at me and said, “This is my favourite new place to go!” She even told me she had met her new “bestie”
The “best friend” she was referring to was the lovely woman at the front desk, who was incredibly kind and welcoming and completely made my daughter’s day. That meant a lot to me and really speaks to the atmosphere at COBIA.
I will definitely be returning, and this time I will be bringing my daughter in for a haircut as well. My son will be coming in too. I would include my husband, but he is bald.
I will absolutely be recommending COBIA to my friends and coworkers. Even while sitting there, I noticed how friendly, positive, and professional everyone was. It was genuinely refreshing to walk into a salon where the atmosphere felt so welcoming.
