“Dr. Hampton helped me when others turned me away. I am working here in Kamloops until Friday. My contact lense flipped out of my eye. I work in construction so for the safety of myself and others my vision can not be compromised. I just needed a pare of contacts to hold me over until the 15th, which is when I made an appointment with my Dr. back home. Two other optometrists turned me away and told me that they couldn't help me. Dr. Hampton came to my rescue. He gave me a temporary pare to hold me over, along with solution and a case. It isn't often you come across such a caring sole. I am not even a patient of his. If I lived here I would be switching immediately. If he cares this much about someone who isn't a patient of his, I can only imagen the care and attention his patients recieve. I am not going to lie I left his office with tears of thankfulness running down my cheeks.I would not have be able to continue to do my job without his kindness.If it's a Dr. with heart your looking for, Dr. Hampton has the biggest I've ever come across.“
“Our sons glasses met an untimely death.... On a long weekend. Our regular optometrist was closed for three more days and usually have a lead time of 5-10 business days for glasses. I was really worried we would be waiting weeks for new glasses when I found Lensmakers was open at the mall. I saw a review saying they were helpful in an emergency. I called and Maria was sooooo helpful! She answered the phone before the store was even open. I was so flustered by the unexpected accident, having to pay for new glasses and our optometrist being closed but she was so calm and empathetic. She told me I could come in right away to pick out a pair of lenses and they could have them ready in about an hour! They have a good selection of kids lenses and were not only super helpful to me but also spoke to my son to ask his opinion of things. Plus we got a buy one, get one free deal too, so next time glasses break or are lost we won't be stuck.“
