Friendly service and staff did a nice job removing old cedar shakes and installing asphalt in less than 2 weeks. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves, leaving shockingly few nails behind. The work was completed for the price as agreed up front. Highly recommended. (Advice for any roofing job; ask the roofer to check if the chimney needs maintenance.)
We made the right choice in picking Rio to supply and install a new furnace, heat pump and hot water heater in our house. From our first meeting, it was obvious that owner, Sam knew his stuff and cared about customer service. He explained what product he was recommending and why, also making sure that we would be eligible for the maximum available rebates from the utility company.
Rio's quote came in better than others received, but he also suggested a couple of other add-ins that the others didn't and threw them in at no charge.
Sam and his crew showed up on the scheduled installation date and completed the job on time, all the while being professional and courteous.
I have no reservations in recommending Rio Heating and Cooling.

Love this place!! I have had 3 appointments with Coco now and every time I've been very satisfied. This time she did bleach & a peekaboo colour. Coco takes the time to communicate thoroughly and check what I want. She is also very attentive to detail - she noticed I was reading, and offered me a pillow to rest my iPad on for better comfort. Little touches like this really impressed me and I appreciate her kind service.

I love the Versaspa spray tan here. I’ve tried a few around town and the three tan solution makes a big difference for an even and long lasting spray tan. The instructions were clear and the facilities are clean and bright.

Had such an amazing experience with Staci. I got a nipple piercing done after having removed my previous ones due to migration. Come to find out I was pierced incorrectly before and even though it has only been a day I can already tell that the healing process will be much better this time. My previous ones did not ever fully heal. Can't wait to get the other one done in a few months. Cannot recommend staci enough. She's so knowledgeable and makes herself available for any questions afterward if there are any concerns. Very happy with my experience this time, as usually I faint and/or throw up with needles (even with vaccines etc) and this piercing gave me just normal dizziness issues but it passed with a little time. I went through many reviews in many different tattoo/piercing places in the lower mainland before landing on staci and seeing how well recommended she is and after my experience as well, I see why. Definitely make the trip if you live out of the way. It is well worth it. I traveled from whiterock to see her. I am extremely happy with her work. ?
First time going here! Open until 9pm on a Tuesday taking walk ins! Got both my nips done, $104 with regular piercing and jewelry. I spent extra to get titanium with opals and it was still so cheap!! They were incredibly friendly and professional, the piercing was fast and very well done. I don't know their name but the person with short pink hair was so great. I will be back. The pricing, service, cleanliness, professionalism and the overall experience was 10/10.

I am renting an Apartment built around 3 years ago and C.I.R Mechanical Ltd was in charge of its plumbing works. My kitchen pull-down hose was leaking and I could not find it anywhere. I called CIR desperately and talked with Steve. After a few days he found the part and I did not have to pay for the part (life-time warranty). My point is, Steve really could simply say I cannot find the hose, however, he went beyond and above his job to solve the problem.

I called on Saturday afternoon and spoke with Patrick. We had two old-style florescent light fixtures in a storage room. The light bulbs were dead and are no longer made. Patrick asked me to send him a photo. He texted me back 5 minutes later with a solution suggestion and a photo of it from Home Depot. It looked good to me. I told him that there was no rush but asked when he might be able to do the job for me. He did it THE NEXT DAY!! The price was good and the job well done. We wanted to install a smart lock in my condo, but my entrance door had some unusual and old security hardware that was super hard to remove. We first hired a Task Rabbit but he couldn't get the job done, given the complexity to remove the old door hardware (we still had to pay him, so it was just a waste of money).
So we contacted many locksmiths in our area and quoted with them all. Better Lock had the best price and was the only one confident that they would be able to get the job done (some locksmiths even said it wasn't possible).
They came in the next day and voilà: problem solved!
Now I know where to go to for locksmith services.

I am a council member of our Strata. Recently one of our units on the main floor had a water leakage that went out into the hallway and soaked our carpets. We called Incredible Restoration who came out first thing next morning. We had a few technicians over the next 3 working days and every one of them were on time, friendly, ready to explain things and always cleaned up after themselves. I’m absolutely thrilled with my new Vintage Engineered Northern Sawn Select V white oak flooring in the Oracle colour. It looks spectacular in my small condo and has completely transformed the space.
Owner Peter clearly has deep experience and confidence working with wood flooring—his guidance made the process stress-free. The installer Tony was kind, tidy, and respectful of my condo neighbours and building rules. Several neighbours commented on how impressed they were with both his workmanship and his considerate manner. My baseboards were removed and reinstalled to avoid quarter or shoe moldings. Tony is a perfectionist. Not one mark on my wall or baseboards.

They also saved us $$$ by leaving the under padding in place and adding it where we needed it added, they were able to leave all baseboards in place which was also amazing. I wouldn’t wish the stress of a renovation on my worst enemy, but amid the chaos of various contractors not showing up on time, or at all, prices escalating, and grumpy demeanors, Eric was the light in our project. Eric was always on time. Did quality work. Had fair pricing that never changed from one day to the next. My only hesitation in writing this review is he might not be available for my next project. Because yes, he will be the first person I contact regarding my next renovation project.
Had EuroArts redo some bad grout in our master walk-in shower. It was in bad shape with lots of mold due to poor grouting when it was installed. The results were incredible and well beyond what I'd hoped. The quote was basically right on the money. Would highly recommend EuroArts.

We planned to design a feature wall with an electric fireplace and TV mounted. Among all the teams that visited us and provided us the schedule and quote, George was the only one who could earn our trust to engage him in this project. I sketched our design in AutoCAD and provided George the layout and dimensions. He spent more than 90 minutes in his first visit to go over the design and clarify all dimensions of the project. Then he gave us his business card indicating “Affordable”, “Reliable”, “Professional”. After he completed the project, we not only can endorse him for being reasonable, reliable, and professional but also we would like to add that he is precise and punctual. He delivered the project a few days before the deadline which have met all our expectations. At some point, we had to stop him from being so much picky in paying attention to the dimensions with two digits of accuracy. George went above and beyond and even covered some minor modifications that we had in the initial designs. His quote never changed over conducting the project even though he observed some obstacles that slowed down his progress at the time. Words cannot express how grateful we are for the service that George has provided us and we have reservation to promote his business! Thank you George!

If you live in Burnaby and you have a pest problem look no further than Knockout Pest Control. Ryan has helped me for over 10 years with everything from ants to raccoons and he knows his stuff. He is very thorough. At one house I had squirrels in my attic and while the previous owner had another company block most of the entry points they missed some and Ryan solved the problem and installed a one way door so the squirrels could not get back in once they left. The previous owner used poison and that left a few dead carcasses in the attic. As import as being good is, just as import is being honest. Ryan will only recommend and do what is needed. If there is another trade like a roofer that can fix a problem better than him, he will recommend that - this is being honest and recommending to customers what is best for them. I could not recommend Knockout Pest Control more!

Terminix employees are courteous and thorough. They're comprehensive when identifying problem areas and offering good solutions for pest control. Our service rep is acutely aware of different people's varying fears around specific pests and is very tactful when addressing pest problems. Their regular scheduled visits evidently reduce the number of pests we have at our site. And if there are extreme cases where we need help with seasonal pests, they come out for an extra visit prepared to deal with the problem. I was hesitant to go as I don’t know what to expect honestly but I’m glad i did because after getting treatment I felt better, I was relieved from the pain. They also do the 15 minute massage with the machine which was exceptionally relaxing.
I highly recommend Dr Lee, he gives you detailed explanations on your condition for better understanding as well as giving advice on which exercises are suitable for your needs.

For context, my dog usually hates getting her toe nails clipped, especially her dew claws. I used to get her nails clipped at a vet clinic by a Dr or Nurse, she would squeel, try and break free and in some cases, try to nip at the groomer. The vet told me it might be a sign that she has arthritis hence the sensitivity...
However, with Sabrina, she was so calm, didnt even tremble or squeel!! She was just as calm in Sabrina's arm when she was whisked away to the back to get her nails trimmed, and still just as calm and chill when she returned. Highly recommend Metro Dogs!! THANK YOU ?
We have brought our dog Rigby here for years! It was recommended to us as our dog is quite anxious. They are so kind, patient and calm. They celebrated small wins with our boy and really made us feel at ease. Rigby always comes out looking clean, sharp and happy. They take their time and are fantastic! Our usual daycare was fully booked, so we reached out to them. They asked many detailed questions about my dog to ensure she would adapt well to the environment. Throughout the day, they kept me updated with timely texts, letting me know my dog was settling in wonderfully. They also shared videos of the dogs playing on Instagram, which was such a nice touch! The environment is super clean, relaxing, and welcoming. They’re incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and they know all the right pressure points to relieve tension. Peniby is such a great person who deserves all the praise she is getting. Besides doing work that truly leaves you feeling better, she cares. Peniby cares about you and wants to see you get better. It’s not usual to meet someone who has such a huge heart and does what they do because they thrive off of seeing you get well. I booked an appointment with Carmen (whom I didn’t know) and U’m glad I did! I had one of the best massages I’ve had in my life! Carmen was a fantastic RMT very conscious and careful. She was able to release all that tension from my back and the best part is that it didn’t hurt at all! I highly recommend going to see Carmen! Honestly, any RMT at Elu is super professional.
Recommend the RMT massage by Minna. Most RMT's do a targeted massage of the affected area only, but Minna was professional and kind enough do a full body massage in addition to the pain points. The tension in my neck/shoulder was relieved after the massage. The front desk staff were very courteous and were able to direct bill to my 2 insurances. They should develop their website to allow for online booking though. Right now it looks like only phone booking is available.
T.C, who has taken over ownership of the clinic, is wonderful. He has a variety of techniques that he encompasses in his massage, is continuously incorporating new things that he learns, and is good at getting to the areas of concern.He is very professional and gentle natured, the office is peaceful, and you can tell that he takes pride in his work and his business.For those that do not have extended benefits, his rates seem reasonable in comparison to other clinics and he is also able to direct bill some insurance companies which is convenient.I think it's always important to support the small businesses within your neighborhood and this one truly is worth supporting.

Best TCM and acupuncture clinic! I have been seeing Theresa and Luke for twenty years. Thomas is a wonderful addition to the team! I have referred numerous friends and family. They are focused on being effective and patient centred. They are great with kids too! My daughter had sprained ankles and after a dozen physio appointments, we saw Theresa! One session with Theresa was far more healing .
This has been here for a while and isnt noticeable from the street level. I stumbled upon this about 1 year ago and have been going to see Fara since then on and off. Today I had a session and I feel renewed after the session. He begins by learning a little about you so he knows how to treat you as we are all unique. He used acupuncture to balance my chakra today along with the oils which he makes and on top of that using the sounds bowls vibration. I have recommended to many friends already as I know what he has done for me.

I highly recommend the clinic. I arrived with a lot of low back pain and from the first day, I received excellent care. During some sessions, I experienced considerable improvement. Mrs. Grace was always very attentive and treated me with acupuncture and a lot of respect and affection! I returned later for more treatment and remain extremely satisfied. I always feel well taken care of.

Juma is an extraordinary teacher. I failed my first test after taking 12 classes with a different instructor as I was not 100% clear with the rules. Ish is an excellent teacher, he is extremely demanding and professional, when you get to the driving test it feels easier than the sessions with ish. I got my license on the first try after taking a five class package. I highly recommend him.

MT is a great driving school. I took classes for class 5 road test with Hung. He is a great instructor with excellent customer service.
